Majestic Eagle View is a private lakeside retreat overlooking Jackson Lake. This family retreat has an upper and lower level apartment with decks to enjoy sunrise and sunset. There is no interior access to the upper and lower levels which give fantastic separation when combined family and friends want to vacation together. Calling all outdoor and water lovers!

Enjoy a weekend on the Lake, week's vacation, or perhaps a calm place to call home while you are away working. Complimentary kayaks available for use, cornhole, and many other entertainment ideas. Take a day trip to Covington for some Hollywood movie feels, also known as the film capital of the South. Nearby are Indian Springs State Park, High Falls, Dauset Trails Bike and Hike, or the Piedmont Wildlife Refuge.

There is plenty of fun for the entire family while you enjoy Jackson Lake and the beautiful outdoors. If you are looking for a cozy getaway that is equipped with amenities, come stay at Majestic Eagle View. Enough space for a family and friends, business retreat, romantic lake-front wedding...it's the ultimate place to escape the hustle and bustle with room for 9 guests. Note: The upstairs, only, which has 2 queens and a full beds will be available 2/1-4/4/2026.

Great location and view!

We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The property suited our family with a full kitchen and bedrooms on the top and bottom levels. The owner was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were satisfied. The location on the lake is perfect with deep, clean water and an amazing view from the top deck. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Birthday getaway

Ok, just infested with spiders outside around water equipment and porch. Also had issues with door code equipment entering the property. Never had issues like this entering a property. Left a day after entering the property.

We appreciate guest(s) feedback as well as the opportunity, during each stay, to make it a memorable vacation. Considering the close proximity (being next door), we are always available 24/7 to correct anything our guest(s) are displeased with or may need during their stay. After assisting with the digital LOCKLY locks with onscreen key pad initially and during your stay, we were unaware you had any other issues. In the future, please communicate openly with your rental company and host. It is very hard to fix things that are not brought to our attention prior to ending your stay.

AMAZING Stay

This property is on a private road in a beautiful cove on the lake. Barry, the owner, lives next door and is EXTREMELY hospitable and obviously takes great care of the place, more so than you see with properties kept up by management company staff with remote owners. The biggest thing that stood out was that the online listing pictures do NOT do the property and it's amazing views justice. The property is spacious and set up very well, although there is no inside stairway going from the upstairs to the downstairs (thankfully the weather stayed perfect, and this did not bother us) . The hill going down to the water and small dock is STEEP, which was initially a concern for my children, and friends' children who visited (ages 3-5), but thankfully we all stayed safe and the kids had a blast swimming and going out in the awesome complimentary kayaks with us. Nothing beats waking up to the serene views the property offers right from the kitchen and living area with large windows. At night the entire cove's house and dock lights bounce and dance off the still water and you can star gaze all night. We grilled out, caught fish and were offered to book a charter on the owners awesome pontoon boat but only declined because of other plans, but would love to be taken out on the lake next time. We will certainly return here!

Beautiful Views, But Key Issues Damped Our Stay

Our recent weekend stay at this VRBO offered truly beautiful views that were a highlight of our trip. However, several aspects of our experience, particularly regarding the dock and the booking process, warrant mention.The booking process for this property was unique and unlike any we've encountered before, requiring us to provide the home address and age of all visitors. While not a major impediment, it's something future guests should be aware of. Parking can also be a challenge if you plan to bring more than three cars; fortunately, this wasn't an issue for us as we had friends arriving by boat.Upon arrival, we discovered a significant concern: the dock was not safe or usable. This put a considerable damper on our weekend plans, especially given that we had made arrangements far in advance for a holiday weekend. While we did our best to make it work and ultimately made some good memories, the condition of the dock was a consistent point of frustration. The owner did offer us the option to check out upon arrival, but having traveled and planned extensively, we decided to proceed with our stay.Additionally, the walk down to the water is quite steep and might not be suitable for everyone. Guests should be prepared for a strenuous descent and ascent.Overall, the property itself is beautiful, largely due to its stunning views. A notice or a partial discount would have been a thoughtful gesture and, in our opinion, the right thing to do.

We appreciate you booking and staying at Majestic Eagle View. We do our best to ensure each guest has a wonderful stay and we are available to correct any issues within our means 24 hours a day. Our rental agreement guest list is for emergency purposes in which the fire department, EMS, or any other entity needs to assist or identify registered guests. We try our best to transparent in the rental process as there are local ordinances in place that we and our guests must abide by. Parking is outlined in the rental agreement each guests receives after booking which states there is parking for up to three vehicles. Prior to arrival, photos were sent of parking for an additional two vehicles. The home was clean and ready earlier than the 4PM check-in, so we extended it for your arrival as most vacationers are eager to start early. The floating boat dock condition was reported to us at the time of your check in and a repair company was contacted, however due to a holiday weekend they were unable to repair. The issue with the floating part of the dock arose due to the ski and wake boats in the cove. There was/is the trek deck portion that is attached to the property to safely use and enjoy without the use of the floating portion. We offered to give you a full refund and allow you to cancel, however you were happy to make do. We put our heart and soul into each rental property to ensure each guest has the best vacation possible.
