Property was just as described. It was the perfect location. First impression, wow this place is clean. Loved having a full washer and dryer. The balcony was spacious and had an amazing view. Loved that Netflix was set up on TV and we were able relax after a long day at the beach. Staff at Crystal Shores were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location with Gulf view!

My husband and I took a last minute beach trip and ended up here. The condo was located just far enough down the road that the beach wasn’t crazy crowded upon our arrival. However that picked up as it got closer to the weekend. We had ZERO issues with the elevators. They were quick and reliable. The condo was spacious and provided everything we needed minus a blow-dryer. We ran into a few minor issues that were more of an inconvenience than anything. I had to spend several hours cleaning the coffee maker out bc the water reservoir was full of mold. The toaster kept setting off the smoke detector, even after we emptied the crumbs. And the shower heads need to be replaced in both bathrooms. You can barely rinse the soap off your body with them. Handheld ones would be much better. The unit was clean, beds comfy, gorgeous views! Would stay again!

Great location, well-equipped condo

We were in Gulf Shores for a softball tournament, and wanted a nice place to stay on the beach. This complex really delivered. My daughters loved the exercise facility over-looking the gulf, and I enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shopping. We had one very minor repair need during our stay, and it was attended to quickly and efficiently. The only mildly negative issue is that the pool area is very small in comparison to the size of the complex. There were not enough chairs to accommodate everyone who wanted to use the pool area. This is not an issue for this particular unit, though. Would definitely book this unit again.

Great location

The location itself was perfect! We loved being directly on the beach- the private walkway to the beach was exactly what we needed with a baby and 6 year old. The place itself was extremely basic compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. Which I guess was okay. The biggest drawback though were the elevators. There were 2 for the entire place and unfortunately only one seemed to be operational. Many times we had to use the stairs, or wait for 15-20 minutes for the elevator. Neither of which are ideal with an infant and stroller. The Google reviews for Crystal Shores West specifically mention elevator issues, so clearly it’s a known problem. It would’ve been nice if the owners could’ve mentioned something beforehand. We will stay in the area again, but likely not this exact unit or building. It was nice, but just not the right fit for our young family.

We enjoyed years of vacationing with our children here and now have grandsons to share those memories with. We love hosting and being a small part of memories made with other families, from couples starting their married life with honeymoons or beach weddings to retirees leisurely enjoying time in the area. In addition to the beaches, we encourage guests to visit Bon Secour Wildlife Preserve, historic Fort Morgan, take a ferry ride to Dauphin Island, shop 'til you drop at Tanger Outlets in Foley, take a bike ride on the many bike trails, visit OWA amusement park in Foley, the Gulf Shores Zoo is a great treat for younger visitors, Pirate's Island is our go to putt putt spot, and so much more. Both Orange Beach & Gulf Shores have excellent welcome centers with tons of brochures providing visitors with many ideas for extra adventures while you enjoy the best of beach life.
