Gathering of Nations -family trip

Excellent location and close to grocery store and Saw Mill Market for great food relaxing armosphere. House was as described and host was prompt to reply. Great stay in ABQ.

The house is wonderful. The host/manager is Wonderful . The house is comfortable has all the things you need. If traveling with dogs has a nice big yard for them to run around. Location is walking distance to Old Town

The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. Communication with the owner/manager was easy and quite friendly, she even on her own reached out and suggested places we might go for entertainment. There were a couple of friendly and quiet dogs that shared the backyard which was nice to have a green space with trees. The place felt very down to earth - not polished but clean, the beds were comfortable and all in all we enjoyed our stay.

My family and i enjoyed our stay at this casita. It’s in great area on a quite street. as other reviews mention, there are other guest on property with animals but they were super friendly and got along great with my mini dachshund. Pictures matched the property and I found it to be clean and smelled great. Only issues I had was that the post listed a hot tub as an amenity but found out there is not one on site. Wasn’t a deal breaker but had been looking forward to soaking all week. I feel that the cleanliness and affordability of the property made up for the miscommunication and I would definitely rebook in the future.

Needs some work.

Checked in on time. Floors were still wet from being mopped, back door was unlocked. There had been a snow storm the day before and no internet therefore no TV unless you used personal hot spot ( not their fault). Floors were creaky and the paint was mismatched. Most disturbing part was the blinds in the bedrooms were only half way down and no way to lower them. Creepy!! Bathtub needs to be refinished or replaced and the heated toilet seat that wouldn’t stay up for the boys was a negative. Definitely felt that owner was in the adjoining room by the supposedly shared laundry. Back yard was a mess with hangers strewn about and never seen a hot tub.

This is not a place to stay. There’s so much dirt that comes in from your shoes, you’re constantly cleaning the floor. There are two other tenants here. One a studio and the other a casita. You share a laundry room and a backyard.The ad never mentions this and says it’s an entire home. There are numerous extension cords running outside and through the window. No window coverings go all the way down. The other tenants are not responsible. The casita home has dogs and found numerous piles of dog feces upon arrival. The heat is still on in September. The thermostat is still set for winter. Overall a misleading listing with lots of unwanted surprises. Cars coming and going to this property. Sometimes the block the driveways making it impossible to reach the house or back out. The owner really needs to make the ad what it is. A communal property. Would never stay here again. Motorcycles being revved up at 3am waking you from sleep. It’s supposed to be quiet from 9pm-6am, but no one follows that rule here. This is not an entire home. This is a communal arrangement. My dogs weren’t happy hearing disturbances throughout the night. The foot traffic here is very steady so you’re really never alone. It’s very unsettling but please avoid ths property!!’ We found out about other residents 90 minutes before check in. Nice to learn when you realize it’s not you and you family at the place. Huge disappointment!

Not what we expected

The communication from the host was great. The house was not what we expected at all though. It literally felt like someone was living in the house and only left when we arrived. The only lock on the door was the keypad and honestly it felt like someone could enter at anytime, because of that I did not sleep. It also was mentioned to lock the laundry door so the other guest wouldn’t enter the house and that each bedroom could be locked which was concerning to us. We get these houses when we travel because of our, although it was mentioned online that the backyard was shared, it was not mentioned until the check in email that there was another dog. We would not have stayed there if we knew this. It honestly felt as if we were sleeping over at a strangers house who had access to the house at anytime which is basically the definition of a Vrbo but it’s hard to explain. We have stayed in so many over the years and have just never felt this level of uncomfortableness.

Missing important details about property

In the property description it doesn't explain that there are 2 loose dogs in the backyard, your sharing a property with another person and your told to lock laundry door because that's where the house meets with the other person there's a camera that records you from the front porch We tried making breakfast one morning and come to find out stove isn't in working condition there was dog hair all over the house cleaning is not done well at all window coverings on the rooms let in a lot light i wine up extra early everyday another thing that isn't mentioned in the description is that the backyard is shared with about 4 people no privacy at all here i also suspect cameras inside of the house there's also loose tile in the kitchen that pinched our feet a couple of times definitely not what the description describes dirty place reminds me of a grandma's house the pictures for this property are very deceiving looked like a really nice place but when you get there its a whole different story

COMPLETELY INACCURATE. These guests were allowed to check in 4 hours early and they did not mention anything about the tile/dog hair or cameras. There are no cameras inside the house, how rude to accuse of that disgusting behavior !! The back burners on the stove do work and I sent someone over to show them how to use the stove but they did not respond or answer the door. The description does say that there are other paying guests on the shared property. Also, if they had mentioned something about the tile, it would have been fixed immediately. And the tile has been fixed since their stay.

The property was clean and nice but it was uncomfortable that the blinds in the bedrooms couldnt be closed. Add in the fact that it wasnt disclosed that a guesthouse was also on the property and occupied. The window in the main bedroom couldn't stay closed so there was a constant cold draft.
