Unique Log Cabin Retreat on 138 Acres, swim, fish, boat, paddleboard, kayak!

Enjoy a tranquil, relaxing stay in our private, handcrafted log home set amidst a 5 acre spring fed lake on 138 acres of a classified Indiana natural wildlife preserve. A meandering creek, rolling hills and trails suitable for nature walks and hikes surround the property. For the fishing enthusiast, the lake is stocked with largemouth bass and bluegill. We have several water craft to enjoy on the lake. These include a three person canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards, and a two person inflatable kayak. Set out to experience this serene, natural haven!
Guest access:
The dock by the Cabin is for guest use (no diving off the dock) There is a floating swim platform for sunning and swimming. The owners have an additional home and dock approximately 100 yards down from the cabin. This dwelling, barn and all other outbuildings are not for guests. They are not occupied during your stay. The owners may make brief visits to the outdwellings for general maintenance purposes. Guests will be notified in advance…this is a rare occurrence. Thank you for understanding!
Other things to note
No hunting is allowed. Fishing is all catch and release to maintain a healthy fish population, please bring your own fishing gear.

New features!! We have installed Starlink, a high-speed, low-latency internet for remote and rural locations operated by aerospace company SpaceX. Internet connection at the cabin is extremely reliable with this service which makes the cabin an excellent place to work remotely. We have upgraded the grill to a 3 burner Weber gas grill with an electric start (propane is provided).
