Beautiful Summer Bay Resort is just minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The resort offers free transportation to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Universal parks, but you may not be as eager to leave when you see what Summer Bay has to offer: heated pools, a beach with Jet Skis and other water sports, Kokomos Tiki Bar, miniature golf, game room, horsehoes, tennis, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard - even children and family activity programs. Of course, if you still have the time and energy to visit a theme park, you can buy your Disney tickets onsite. The Orlando International Airport is 28 miles away from Summer Bay Orlando. Based on Orlando traffic, the drive may take anywhere from 30-40 minutes.: Summer Bay Orlando is located just 6 miles away from the Walt Disney World Main entrance. Animal Kingdom is 6 miles away, approximately 10-15 minutes. Magic Kingdom is 11 miles away, approximately 15-20 minutes.

With it's proximity to all the attractions central Florida has to offer, and it's separation from the crowds of Downtown Orlando, Clermont makes for a comfortable and secluded home base when traveling to The Theme Park Capital of the World. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and a myriad of parks and attractions, are close by when you stay in Clermont. Be sure to visit the newly opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios – a thrilling experience for children of all ages.

A boatload of outdoor adventure awaits guests of all ages at the award-winning Buccaneer Bay Adventure Park where, for a fee, guests can zip, jump, climb, slide, splash, all day long.

Just curious and want to watch all the fun? Come on in and saunter about! There’s no charge to enter the park, however a wristband must be purchased to experience the park’s featured adventures. Play a game of Bocce Ball, enjoy complimentary access to Parrot’s Landing, the interactive kid’s water playground or just relax and take in the sites.

Wristbands can be purchased for $50.00 for everyone in the reservation and may be purchased at Buccaneer Bay.

Two-bedroom (sleeps 8) is the perfect solution for a big family. With room for 8 guests, this open floor plan lets you spread out and get comfortable. Gaze upon Florida's beauty from your spacious balcony overlooking our 64-acre lake or beautiful gardens. Wake up refreshed and ready for adventure in your plush bed in one of 2 spacious bedrooms. Pamper yourself in a luxurious master suite with your very own balcony and bathroom with a walk in shower, whirlpool tub and large vanity. The dining and living room areas provide plenty of space to do what you want to do. Forget about having to eat out every day. The airy kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove and lots of accessories makes dining in convenient and easy. With a large, flat screen TV in every room, guests can all watch something different at the same time. Extremely convenient in-home washer and dryer makes the visit that much easier.

During this time of abundant caution, we are practicing social distancing all around the resort which is OPEN, with all amenities and activities, including swimming pools, marina, adventure park, and mini golf open and operational. Food & Beverage outlets offer dine in and take out options and pool bars are open, observing modified schedules. This includes Complimentary Resort Shuttle Service to theme parks. Reservations are required.


Housekeeping service will occur upon every guest check out. As a precautionary measure, Housekeepers will not enter any occupied accommodations during length of stay. Towel exchanges are offered, as requested.

Summer Bay Orlando resort offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the units and public spaces throughout the resort. A Wi-Fi password will be provided at the time of check-in. Pets are not permitted at Summer Bay Orlando.

THE WEARING OF FACE MASKS IS ENCOURAGED AND MAY BE MANDATED BY GOVERNMENT RESOLUTIONS TO BE WORN IN ENCLOSED SPACES (ie: LOBBY, CLUBHOUSE, RECREATION PAVILION, AND RESTAURANTS)
