Private island oasis with pool

Vanilla Orchid is an island oasis and perfect escape to the tropical paradise on Caye Caulker. This is a unique home on the island, both in modern style and amenities. The home is private with a surrounding wall, making it a perfect escape for you to relax on the shaded patio, float in the pool, or take advantage of a remote work or nomadic lifestyle. Located in a close, but quiet part of the island, this home will help you quickly embrace the island motto "Go Slow".

The main part of the house includes a full kitchen, dining area, and living room with a TV. The main bedroom is accessed from the living room and includes an en suite bathroom.
The second bedroom is in the adjoining casita accessible from the patio and also includes an en suite bathroom. The patio includes an outdoor dining table, a seating area, and lounge chairs to relax by the pool.

Most things on Caye Caulker are walking distance, but guests will have access to bikes (4) for the duration of their stay. Golf carts are available for rent and golf cart Taxis are easy to arrange.

A safe box has been provided for the use of valuables during your stay. Please follow the instructions provided with the safe for use.

Please note that the pool is serviced daily, except Sunday, typically in the late afternoon. Guests will be expected to allow access to the yard only, but do not need to be present.

We love this island and the beautiful country and are happy to answer questions about your visit, including itinerary recommendations and local island favorites to help inform your stay. The local property manager will be available to help with needs and questions during your stay.

Once you have confirmed your booking, we are happy to advise or assist with coordinating transportation to Caye Caulker. Upon arrival to Caye Caulker, a Taxi driver will be waiting for you and will take you to the home. Taxi service to the property upon arrival to the island is included with your stay.

This was one of my favorite guesthouses of all time! It’s so well cared for, and the hosts are so gracious and helpful, our stay was a breeze and the place was better than we even expected. 10/10 would stay again.

Israel arranged a taxi to meet us at the ferry when we arrived which was convenient, then joined us at the property to hand over the keys and welcome us. The house is beautiful - even better than the pictures. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the pool is clean and wonderful. We enjoyed exploring in the mornings then spending late afternoons in the pool. There are restaurants & a convenience store located nearby. We especially enjoyed a lovely dinner at Weezie's. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

My family stayed 3 nights. It was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and not as much activity on this end of caye caulker, which is what I loved. We rode the bikes to go places and we also called for a taxi a couple times to go to the split. We also enjoyed walking it. The washer and dryer was very useful and allowed us to have clean clothes in our suitcase when leaving. We had everything we needed here. It’s definitely paradise here.

It’s real! Enjoyed my stay!

I found this place and it almost seemed too good to be true. The pics are as shown. It’s a little far from town. It nothing a good golf cart res tap can’t solve. If you are looking for a private oasis in Caye Caulker this is the spot. Extra bonus was there are outdoor speakers you can connect to and play your music. Host was great at proving lost of useful information. I was told I was the first renter of the unit. Wish I could keep this gem to myself but it should be shared with all. Book it now. You won’t go wrong.

My Vision of a Home in Paradise..!!

Amy’s Vanilla Orchid is a beautiful place to stay and can’t say enough regarding privacy and security. A welcoming 2nd home with excellent Wifi, A/C, hot water, well stocked kitchen, and modern-day furnishings. Didn’t need to utilize the separate casita as initially intended but certainly a comfy bed in the main house along with ample storage for belongings. Location: away from busy area- I like to walk but knowing bikes were provided was an incentive.Outside patio was lovely and front/backyards well maintained. Really appreciated the multiple sliding glass doors allowing in the natural sunlight and full view of the backyard, trees, birds, and specifically, access from the bedroom(s) to the pool.The pool is deeper than it looks! (not complaining) Nice to be out there lounging / water exercise during the day and more invigorating at night with clear sky simultaneously listening to the island (location proximity) slowly quiet down as the evenings closed out. Need to recognize property caretakers Israel & Mary ensuring smooth check-in process while also having their contact info to promptly address any questions or concerns.Lastly, highly recommend “RP’s ROADSIDE GRILL” across from the airport entrance for tasty and satisfying dinners along with an inviting atmosphere for pleasant conversation. Sincere shout out to Roberto & Pearla! Thanks Amy, for sharing your slice of Belizean Paradise with me. I’ll be back to enjoy wonderful Caye Caulker and what it all offers!

I first visited Caye Caulker in 2009 and fell in love with the island, the people, and the culture. I have been visiting regularly since and have owned this home since 2018. I love to bring friends and family down to visit and share this magical slice of paradise with as many people as possible, and am so excited to get to share my home with you.

The home is located in a quiet and lush part of the island, just outside the main village. This makes for the best that Caye Caulker has to offer with peaceful sandy roads, local hidden treasures, and the hustle and bustle of town a quick walk or bike ride away. I love the privacy this home offers, allowing you to feel totally at peace in paradise, whether reading a book on a patio lounge chair or floating the day away in the pool.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Caye Caulker is fishing village that has become popular with tourists and backpackers from all over the world. People come to enjoy the "Go Slow" vibe and explore the unique setting of this car-free island. While many homes feature more traditional Belizean styles of wood and slat windows to capture the breeze, this home is unique in style and amenities. The design of the house is modern, with a surrounding wall that gives you the feeling of complete privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked with a microwave, stove, oven, and full size refrigerator - options not found in all island rentals. The home has a large enclosed yard with a pool, a garage for bikes and storage, large bedrooms with fans and air conditioning, and large spaces inside and outside for relaxing. The covered patio is a nice escape from the afternoon sun, and the private pool begs for frequent swims throughout your stay. My favorite is night swimming under the stars to wind down the day.
