House accommodated our multigenerational group well. Kitchen was well equipped, the large dining room table was also great for games, and the hot tub was an added bonus. We loved the gas fireplace and the kids had a great time hanging out upstairs. Entrance was level which was important for the older folks in our group. Overall it was a great stay.

This was our 3rd visit to Lonestar! Love the property and location to downtown. We took a quick drive to Long Barn for ice skating this year which was great fun!

Great place to be at for a family vacation!!! Accommodations fit our group of 16 except one couple had to sleep on twin beds but we had 4 couples.

Wonderful stay!

The cabin is beautiful, cozy, spacious and well located! We really enjoyed being by the fire and watching movies in the spacious upstairs room. The kitchen was well stocked and all up to date. We highly recommend staying here!

Family ski trip

We had a great stay at this property. The home was large with plenty of room and space for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great location near town, restaurants and a park for our kids. 30 min from skiing and tubing. Overall a wonderful home. The hosts were very communicative and provided great recommendations.

Bit of Heaven in Twain

Outstanding cabin for our family! Great layout with kitchen and main level within a few steps of parking. Wonderful upstairs area for the children to play and read. Excellent hot tub and sleeping arrangements. I like the location because itā€™s close to town and the store. The crown jewel of Twain is the Lake! Kids swan and built sand castles for 5 days-enjoying an afternoon frosty cone every afternoon! The host provided great communication and made our stay memorable for a lifetime!

Lovely Cabin in Convenient Location

This is a really nice cabin with a great kitchen, large outdoor area and lots of amenities. Itā€™s a short drive or walk to the shops in Twain Harte. Highly recommend.

Amazing winter retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Star Lodge! The house was in great condition, everything was clean, and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Jackie was so helpful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again on our next trip to Twain Harte.

Yearly Twain Harte Family Vacation

Lone Star was a very nice cabin, we did have a full house. I think the outdoor area was out favorite place to hang out! Kids enjoyed the swings, and we made sā€™mores in the fire pit. Lots of seating for the whole family to enjoy our meals outside!šŸ˜Š. Another plus is the lake privileges!

Great Family Time at Lone Tree

This house accommodates my large family and young grandkids (ages 4-2), perfectly. The bonus room and large TV accommodates all of us for some fun and games! The location is an easy walk to town and to the lake, and the kitchen and the really large table are great! We love this home.

Wonderful Getaway in Twain Harte

We were so delighted to see the beautiful holiday decorations when we entered the Lone Star Lodge. The home was absolutely clean and ready for us to enjoy! And enjoy we did! We used the barbeque, the fire pit and the hot tub during our stay. Every little thing we needed was there! We look forward to visiting again in the summer!

Family Stay at Lone Star

We had a great stay this past weekend at the Lone Star. The house is great for guests of all ages, kitchen and dining area perfect for serving lots of family! We were lucky enough to have fresh fallen snow and the grandkids had a blast playing in the yard. Also, a great location to walk to the little town. The host was so helpful with recommendations in the area. We would definetely return, looks like a great summer spot also.
