Welcome to our peaceful and serene vacation rental on a working farm in Scottsboro, Alabama. Our 3 bedroom house sleeps 8 guests comfortably, making it perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway.The house is located just down the road from a kayak launch, so you can easily spend your days exploring the beautiful waterways of Scottsboro. We have plenty of parking with electrical hookups for your boat.
When you're ready to relax, come back to the farm and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.Our farm is a working farm, which means you'll get a chance to see and interact with the animals that call it home. You can cook up delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen.Inside the house, you'll find 3 cozy bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The living room is the perfect place to unwind after a long day, with a TV and comfortable seating. There's also a dining area where you can enjoy meals together.If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, our farm is the perfect destination. The place was perfect for our needs. It was clean, cozy, and provided a short distance to the wedding venue our Granddaughters got married in. My grandson loved the cute cats playing outside. The host were very helpful and answered any of our questions in a timely friendly manner. I would recommend. Only negative, please have a hairdryer on site. This is something I am not accustomed to packing. Could be I just did not look in the correct place. If so, I am sorry for mentioning.Great place!

Just like home

Very clean and comfortable. Property owners lived next door and made us feel very welcome. there were tornado warnings in the area and they gave us a covered building to put our truck in out of the weather with possible large hale expected.

Home away from Home

The property was very nice, spacious and clean. They truly made us feel like family! We stayed a week getting prepared for our son’s wedding. Plenty of room for our family to have their on private bedroom, and quiet time. The kitchen was very open and we were able to prepare plenty of goodies for our special occasion. We love the owners being nearby to help with any need or question we had. They are wonderful people! We absolutely recommend this property! It’s definitely a 10 out of 10!

Fishing trip

The house was wonderful absolutely great for having boats plenty of room to park multiple boats and trucks and located close to everything and the host were absolutely awesome just a great experience

Great Country Stay

First time visiting that we did not have family to stay with. Our choice was 4 people in 1 hotel room or this lovely house in the country. This was so much better than a hotel stay with everyone having their own room and us not having to share a bathroom with the boys. Location was perfect, nice country setting and the hosts were super friendly and great to talk with.

So Cozy

We enjoyed our stay so much, we definitely recommend! Our son and daughter-in- law stayed in one end of the house with their own private bedroom and bathroom. My husband and I had our on bedroom, and our teenage son had his own bedroom. The owner allowed us to store and arch and bench we had brought from home for our middle son’s marriage proposal. What a weekend to remember! Thanks for the great memories!

Lovely setting

We really enjoyed our stay. The front porch is just as inviting as it looks in the pictures. The home is very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to relax. The bathrooms have been nicely remodeled.

Clean and close to everything we needed

Three of us stayed here for a bass tournament in May 2024. The property is very clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed for our week-long stay. It was just a 10-minute drive or less to anything we needed yet we had the serenity of the country right out our back door. We'll seek this property out any time we have a tournament on the "Big G".

April Fishing Trip

Great place to stay if you are fishing Guntersville Lake. We have been coming down for a week fishing trip for 9 years. And this is the best place we have stayed at.

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts

We felt welcome from the second we pulled up. The home has everything you need! Plenty of beds and living space. The location is only a short drive into town with plenty of restaurants and stores. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back again.

Great Place to Stay

Quiet property on the outskirts of town. The was the perfect location and house for our group. Newly updated bathrooms with plenty of room. Beds and seating were very comfortable. Experienced the best sleep ever away from home. When we go back to the Scottsboro area, this place will be at the top of our list.

Best so far

My sister and i have been coming down south at least once a month for a few months. We will stay here when possible. Very clean, beautiful property, convenient, updated but very charming and lots of amenities. The owners were very friendly.

Grandmommy’s Hometown Getaway

This VRBO was by far more than we could have ever asked for. The owners met us when we arrived and from the time we met to the time we left they just seemed like part of our family and us a part of theirs. We originally planned the trip a month ago to bring my grandmother back up to visit her hometown. It was the perfect weekend. The property is nestled on 15 acres of gorgeous farmland. The owners were so generous to give us plenty of okra, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers when we departed. The home is one the owners parents built in the 1950s and raised the children. It has been fully renovated and is homey, spacious, comfortable, and clean. It’s truly like coming home. We enjoyed our weekend so much exploring Scottsboro, but the owners truly made this experience one we are already taking about coming back to.
