Summary:
Welcome to the Cozy Getaway in Michigan City, part of a quaint 4-plex. Escape with family or friends near the dunes of Lake Michigan! This is a upstairs studio unit! Guests will love being able to walk to the beach, outlet mall, zoo, restaurants and shops. Minutes drive to hiking trails in the nation's newest Dunes national park, casino, wineries, boat rentals, splash pad and park. This is the perfect little getaway for up to 2 people who want to relax or adventure!

The Space:
Charming apartment with open concept. Has a full kitchen, dishwasher, breakfast bar, bedroom with king size bed and complete turn-key for your stay. Walk to restaurants, shops on Franklin St. and Outlet Lighthouse Outlet Mall. Washington park beach is 1 mile away, Zoo is about 1 mile away too. Dune State Park is about 10 mile drive.

UNIT PERKS:
--This studio apt has a king size bed and accommodates up to 2 guests.
--This rental includes a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towel will be provided for your use.
--Along with coffee, creamer and sweetener are provided.
--Cooking spray, olive oil, salt/pepper are provided.
--A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available.
--Small beach toys for kids and and beach towels are provided for each guest.
--A few board games are available for your use.
--Guests can park in front of the house.

TECHNOLOGY:
--A smart TV is hooked up in your living area & master bedroom, though we recommend the outdoors over the tube! ;)
--High Speed Wifi is provided.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:
--AirBnB users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.
--Renters that are above the age of 25.
--A maximum of two guests per reservation. Extra guests are not allowed.
--We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. To keep the unit in excellent condition for future guests, we are firm on these rules. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the unit is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.

**CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT INFO**
- Between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)
Please note: We do not allow late check-ins, and there is no after-hours customer service available. Guests must arrive within the designated check-in window.
- Check-out Time: By 10:00 AM.
- Check-in Instructions: Detailed check-in instructions, including a key code for entry, will be sent via Airbnb messenger on the morning of your scheduled arrival.
- Cancellation Policy: We have a moderate cancellation policy. For full details, please refer to Airbnb’s cancellation guidelines.

**GUEST ACCESS**
Guests have full access to the entire property. At least one host is always available via text if you need assistance during your stay.

**FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 21 DAYS**
An additional cleaning fee will be applied to ensure the continued cleanliness and maintenance of the unit, as our cleaners will be required to service the unit every 20 days. This charge helps us provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout your extended stay.

Available to all guests is a patio table with four chairs on the front porch to read or have coffee, and a picnic table in the yard.

Michigan City is a great vacation spot. A variety of activities are available for everyone, regardless of age/ability/interests.

Getting Around:
A car is the best mode of transportation around the area. Feel free to bring your own bikes, as biking along the lakefront is beautiful.

Other Things to Note:
This house built in the early 1900s, and in the early 2000s redesigned and remodeled into four private units. Much of the Victorian charm remains, including some of the original wood plank floorings, the high ceilings, gables, wide arches, stairs, but with the advantage of modern kitchens, upgraded electric, each unit has its, central air conditioning, and heat.
