The vrbo was very clean and well stocked with linens and towels. Worked great for our fishing trip with location and ability to park our 18' boat in back, along with power source to charge our boat at night. Jeremy (host) response was almost immediate with any questions. Will want to be back for sure!!!

Perfect location for fishing the Detroit river. Beds amd pillows were very comfortable!! Just as pictured, lots of room! Host was very responsive and accommodating! Great parking for a truck and boat!! Was great not to have to unhook! Will definitely stay here again!

Great place if you need to bring a boat

It’s an upstairs apartment. It has enough parking to have 2-3 trucks with boats. It is perfect if you are headed to the Detroit River for fishing. No dishwasher, garbage disposal, cook range vent, but, it has everything you need.

Hey huge back of property concrete pad was awesome for managing the boat cuz it rained 3 out of the 5 days I fished. So your standing in clean concrete I. And out of boat while your doing maintenance. Host went extra mile and had charger cord for me organized. Huge spacious rooms front and rear access. Astro turf on front porch deck w a roof made for awesome spot to tie knots and leaders while enjoying the river view. park across the street has rail. We used a bucket on a rope to get cold water for bait management. Speaking of bait Dip net bait and tackle 1/2 block walk. Bonus it’s a drive thru situation . Pull In back to park boat drive thru to access Jefferson = no backing in and or out in dark.

Needs alot of TLC

This is a fixer upper that still needs alot of tlc. There is the bare minimum, no toaster, microwave, no tables of any kind beside bed to put glass, phone etc. My biggest issue was their wasn't AC and it was listed as AC. I wouldn't have rented if I knew that. This was an upstairs unit. It was hot at night none of us slept well. The host has since changed his listing. When we contacted him he said open the windows and turn on fans. We have allergies...not an option for sleeping. I was there for a funeral. We needed to be comfortable. The coffee pot did not work, he did send one via amazon, so had to figure out other place for coffee. We had to extend our stay by a day do to my father ending up in the hospital after his wife died. You would have thought he would have offered us some kind of reimbursement for inaccurate advertisement on his property, however, he did not. The only thing great about this place was the view of the river. I have screenshots of his messages. Not a great host. Sent a bottle of wine..cheap barefoot wine...we dont drink!

Dear Kathy, Thank you for your feedback. As I mentioned, the weather did not permit for ACs to be installed which now they have been. However, the apartment has built-in ceiling fans throughout the unit. if you had read the description and viewed the pictures, you would have noticed no toaster or microwave listed. As for the coffee pot, that was left by the previous occupant, I replaced it as soon as I could which was delivered the next day. I did tell you that there is a hot water kettle and French press so you could have still made coffee. you booked the stay with only one person, only to find out 4 people were staying on the premises which I required an additional fee after 3 people, I did not charge you for. I sent a bottle of wine to show sympathy. instead of bashing the type of wine I sent, a thank you would have been preferred... I would not recommend Kathy and her guest to other hosts.
