Fantastic apartment and lovely holiday

We've stayed at these apartments a couple of times before, but always in block 41. This property is in block 43 which is perfectly located for the pool, so that was a bonus straight away. Apartment itself was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. I would have liked more bedding (particularly for the sofa bed in the living room). The location is very good: a short stroll from a wide variety of restaurants and bars, about 15 minutes walk to the Strip, half an hour to Santa Eulalia beach and around 40 mins to the old town. We couldn't handle the latter in 30+ degrees so took an Uber which cost only around €4. At the time we visited, the kiddies pool was out of action (workmen were there tiling it during our stay) which seemed to have led to a shift in the demographic - there were more rowdy parties of young men / women than there'd been previously - but it was still pretty peaceful. I think they could do with having more loungers around the pool, but other than that, no complaints from us! We had a lovely time and hope to visit again.

Not the best place to stay

We have stayed at different apartments in the Corcovada complex. I like it because there a a washer/dryer so I can get all of out washing done before we go home. So when I went to do a wash after a few days and there was a note saying out of order, I was so annoyed. We were not advised that this was broken. The next thing and possibly the worst was the beds were absolutely brick hard and I had to buy a mattress that you would use for the sun lounger just to try to get even a little sleep. The lift in the block 43 was broken for a few days and not great when you are on the 3rd floor but that was fixed after a few days. The apartment is very old fashioned. The furniture is all dark and in need of being replaced and the bed clothes really need replaced with more modern ones. The apartment is really big and could be stunning and it wouldn't cost a lot to make it wonderful. I really did not appreciate not being told that the washing machine was out of order. We had to go to the laundrette to get our clothes washed several times.

We would like to provide an overview of the guests concerns and our efforts to address them. Regarding the washing machine, Sally understandably expressed frustration upon discovering its out-of-order status. We promptly explained that it had been broken by the previous guests, and unfortunately, we were unable to repair it within the limited time frame of their stay. We genuinely shared their disappointment and apologized for any inconvenience caused. Additionally, Sally questioned why it wasn't repaired earlier, mentioning that she knew for a fact that we could have fixed it sooner and didn’t, we really don’t appreciate this line of questioning, however we explained everything once again, that unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control delayed the repairs. To address the issue of laundry costs as fairly as possible, we reimbursed the amount of €25, reflecting the cost the guest told us it incurred to have their clothes washed. On July 13th, the guest reported a malfunctioning lift. We immediately contacted the responsible personnel for the condominium to address the issue. However, she expressed her dissatisfaction once again on July 14th when she perceived that no action had been taken. We reassured her that we had already reached out to the condominium and were awaiting their response. On July 17th, we were informed that the lift had been fixed on July 14th. We made every effort to resolve the issue promptly, but the resolution was ultimately dependent on external parties, who did so as swiftly as possible. After their check-out, Sally expressed further concerns in an email. They mentioned experiencing discomfort due to the firmness of the beds in the apartment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate their feedback, which we will consider to improve future guest experiences. The interior design and furnishings were personally selected by the owner, reflecting their individual taste and style. We understand that design preferences can vary greatly from person to person, and what might be appealing to one guest may not be the same for another. We apologize if the decor did not meet your expectations or if it felt outdated to you. It’s important to know that the apartments decoration aligns with the photos provided on the VRBO portal. We aim to present an accurate representation of the accommodation, including its style and ambience, to ensure that our guest can make informed decisions when booking. Best Regards, Bárbara & Diogo
