Hi Stanley, I apologize that you were not fully satisfied with your stay. Our records indicate that we did not receive any communication from you regarding your concerns. We encourage our guests to reach out to us upon arrival if anything is not up to their expectations so that we can address any issues promptly. Our house rules clearly state this policy. If we do not hear from our guests, we assume that everything is satisfactory. It's important to communicate any issues so that we can take corrective action. In this case, we could have resolved the situation with the cleaning company if we had been notified in a timely manner, but unfortunately, it's too late to make any adjustments now. Elishia, Yes, it is good to always follow the house Check-In Instructions of checking the property upon arrival & reporting any damages so you.won't take responsibility for someone elses accidents. I'm glad you were able to get me on the phone since we had just changed locks prior to your arrival. That said, The bed was not broken prior to your arrival which we have proof of. You never mentioned it being broken to me. I brought it to your attention after you left when the (same) cleaning company that precleaned it also postcleaned it could not open it to remake the bed due to the damage done during your stay. Again, we appreciate you staying here. All our best to you.

To keep costs down, we provide just a bit of toiletries (2 tp rolls/bathrm, 2 garbage liners/per kitchen trashcan, soap, sponge, salt/pepper... "..to get you started" as our ad states. We do not supply for the entire trip. We enjoyed hosting you and would love to have you return. You've found your river home. :) Make it an annual thing.
