Peaceful Home on the Mountain - Amazing Deck with Views - Steam Shower

Welcome to the peace and quiet along Alpenglow Way. Perched on the mountain near the Steamboat Ski Resort (you can see the top of the Gondola from the deck), this welcoming 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bathroom duplex is the perfect place for your quiet mountain getaway. Enter to an open living, kitchen and dining area with vaulted ceilings and tons of natural light. The kitchen is modern and has nice appliances. Curl up with a book next to the fireplace or watch your favorite movie after a day exploring the mountain. There is a half bath off the main living level for convenience. The main bedroom is located on this level as well, with King bed, attached bathroom with awesome walk-in steam shower and private access to the wrap around deck. The deck has great views towards the ski area and around to the valley. A great place to watch the sunset.

Downstairs you will find a wet bar, laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a second living area for lounging and watching TV. Send the kids downstairs, while the adults hang upstairs. There is a full bathroom on this level with tub/shower combo and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and the other has 2 sets of bunks. The home has free WiFi and parking for 2-3 vehicles in the driveway (depending on vehicle size). Please note, the garage is not accessible to guests. The Steamboat Ski Area is about 1 mile away, a quick drive to either of the free parking lots (The Knoll or Meadows Lots).

The house was lovely. The location was perfect. There was plenty of room for our family. Loved the kitchen and the big dining table. The shower in the master bedroom was a big hit. Everyone used it. We rented a baby gate to use on the stairway which was perfect to protect our one-year-old grandson, The communication with Grand Adventure was spot on. Thank you to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was extremely clean, and itā€™s clear the owners put a lot of thought into providing everything their guests might need. From start to finish, everything was well-stocked, comfortable, and welcoming. I was very impressed and would definitely stay here again.

House was lovely, listing accurate, very clean and the main living space decorated in a lovely modern style. The beds were very comfortable!!!!The house is located very very close to the slopes (5min or less drive). I was able to drop off my skiers every morning and pick them up at the end of the day without any issues. Management was very responsive to all communication in a very timely manner. The furniture in the main living room is definitely showing signs of wear, there were tears in the fabric of the couch which made me worry it was going to rip a huge hole any time we sat on it. While not a concern or a deterrent, please consider in the warmer seasonā€¦ when cooking in the kitchen the house does get toasty warm. Opening the windows helped us (especially in the winter). This house is not equipped with an AC unit, and due to location probably doesnā€™t need it generallyā€¦. Maybe plan to use the grill on the deck more. Lovely stay, spectacular location, will definitely return.

Our stay was great! Perfect location, views were beautiful. The house was clean and very spacious. The listing stated entire home but it is actually a condo. That was the only thing that surprised me. Thanks for letting us stay there!

Great Stay in Steamboat

This house was exactly what we needed for our family stay in Steamboat! It is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and has high-end appliances for the chef in our family. The location was perfect, with wonderful views of the valley. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this house for any family vacation.

Spring Break Ski Trip

The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The upstairs fireplace was out of order so a small electric heater was in front. Additional space heaters had to be used to keep the room comfortable, but we did unplug while not in the home for safety. There was only one throw blanket to cover up with. Loved the space in the kitchen/dining/living room to socialize as a family. The views were great as well.

A Bit More Rustic Than Photos Depicted..

Overall, our stay was nice. Check in was easy and property management was super responsive when we needed to ask about having a third card there. I will say not having AC made the first night after we cooked pretty uncomfortable to hang out on the main floor/sleep in the master bedroom, even with the windows open. We weren't aware this was a duplex when booking, and the deck is a bit more bare bones/rustic than it appeared in photos. My main complaint is the couches - the main floor couch is tiny and the chaise part isn't connected to the rest of the couch and kept separating. There was a big rip in the leather couch as well - both just felt cheap and not really enjoyable to hang out on. There's a lot of kitchen items, but we were surprised that there was only one wine glass - especially when there are two wine fridges in the home! I probably wouldn't stay here again, but it was fine for our trip.
