Overview
Modern Oasis is a three-bedroom furnished home in southwest Corvallis, built in 2023, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac a half mile from the Corvallis Club. High ceilings, tall windows, and a fenced backyard with a covered patio and a gas grill. Every stay starts with breakfast already in the kitchen: organic eggs, organic coffee, tea, and fresh fruit.
Original paintings hang in nearly every room, commissioned for this house rather than bought off a wall somewhere.

The Space
The main floor opens up. A kitchen with a quartz island and full-size appliances, a dining table that expands to seat eight, and a living room with an electric fireplace and a smart TV. Sliding doors lead straight out to the patio.

The primary bedroom is downstairs with a king bed, a walk-in closet, and its own bathroom with double sinks, a rainfall shower, and a freestanding soaking tub. A half bath sits on the lower level just outside it, which keeps the main living area covered.

Upstairs, two bedrooms with queen beds share a full bathroom with double sinks.
Also upstairs is a room that does three jobs. A desk and a separate work table for anyone working or keeping up with schoolwork, board games on the shelves, and a built-in window seat for reading. Families staying a month or longer tend to use it most.

Laundry is a full-size washer and dryer, with detergent and an iron stocked.

The Area
Ashbrook Independent School is about a mile from the front door, and we have hosted Ashbrook families here for school terms. Oregon State University and downtown Corvallis are roughly five minutes by car. Grocery stores, coffee, and restaurants sit a few minutes away.

The Corvallis Club is a half mile up the road. Guests can arrange golf there through our membership, and it takes one step in advance: email the golf shop and the pro before you arrive. Green and cart fees are paid at the shop.

Bruce Starker Arts Park is a quarter mile away, with a pond and walking paths. Willamette Valley wine country is about twenty minutes out. Newport and the coast run closer to an hour and ten minutes.

Parking and Access
One space in the garage and one in the driveway, two vehicles total. No boats or RVs.

Alexandra meets you in person for a walk-through at check-in, then stays reachable by call or text. You have the whole house for your stay.

Capacity is six guests, children included. Worth knowing how the bathrooms fall: the downstairs
Any violation may result in a request to vacate and/or the forfeiture of your security deposit.
Primary Guest: The person making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the property for the duration of the booking.
No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited.
Parking: Up to three vehicles are permitted, two in the driveway and one on the far side of the cul-de-sac. No RVs or trailers are allowed. When parking in the cul-de-sac, please stay clear of the fire hydrant and allow room for service vehicles.
Indoor Footwear: Please remove your street shoes while inside the home. Shoe storage is available in the bench near the front door.
No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property, including the patio.
Quiet Hours: Please keep noise levels low outside and on the patio after 10:00 p.m.
Guest Capacity: Overnight guests must be listed on the rental agreement.
Unregistered Guests: Additional overnight guests must be approved in advance and may incur additional lodging and cleaning fees. Exceeding the agreed-upon guest count may result in a request to vacate without refund.
Visitors: Please inform Fernwood Circle in advance of any visitors you may have. The property may not be sublet.
No Parties or Events: Parties or events are not permitted. Catering or deliveries must be pre-approved.
Furniture & Bedding: Do not bring personal furniture or bedding. Sleeping on furniture overnight is discouraged.
Outdoor Items: Please store patio umbrella and cushions on the table in the garage when not in use.
Check-out Cleaning: Before departure, please fill and start the dishwasher and start one load of towels. Do not strip the beds.
Cleaning Fees: Housekeeping requires approximately 2.0 hours to prepare the home between stays. Any cleaning required beyond this window will be charged at $50 per half hour.
