Our cabin is cozy and quaint with beautiful views. We are located in the highly desirable Peter Pam neighborhood. Which makes it even more safe and secure. Roads are always accessible and areas to hike and trails to walk. Less than 10 minutes from Pinecrest. Bonus kayaks available for usage included with stay. Unplug and enjoy the beautiful surroundings California has to offer!

We stayed in this great home for the last ski weekend at Dodge Ridge and had a lovely time. Virginia's place is very clean. Coming from me, that means a lot, as I never think home rentals are clean enough. My family and I would love to stay here again!

My kids and I had the best time here. Very clean. Very cozy. Great view. Peaceful and relaxing. Felt as if we were at home. Virginia was helpful and got back to me right away. It was extremely easy to check in and out. The location of this cabin is perfect. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Such a great cabin for mountain fun

This cozy cabin is comfy - places to sit and hang out inside and outside. The cabin has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. I would definitely book again.

The cabin was great, immaculately clean and very well maintained . It was very well stocked with everything we needed in a nice quiet neighborhood and 10 minutes to Pinecrest where our family was camping. Nice personal touches added a very welcome feeling.

Cozy cabin near Dodge Ridge

We enjoyed staying at the property. It is well furnished and kitchen was well stocked, especially for the area. Communication from the owner was great. It was perfect for our family of 4. We will stay again!

Perfect stay for our weekend ski trip to Dodge Ridge!

The cabin was impeccably clean. We appreciated all the well thought out details and amenities that made our stay so fun and easy. Our kids and our pup loved the cabin as well. We hope to be back!

Cozy home in a great little neighborhood. Virginia was easy to connect with & suggested Mia’s down the road which was very good food! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cabin Retreat Long Barn

Clean, cozy and well-appointed gem of a cabin with views for days! This was our 2nd summer stay at the cabin, and it was just as great as the1st stay last summer. The cabin hosts make sure you have what you need and what you might need to make your stay easy and memorable.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped with all the amenities required to make our weekend stay feel like home. Our hosts thought of everything, which is truely appreciated. Great place to stay, close to Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge. We will rent again and recommend to family and friends.

Great short stay in the mountains

We stayed for two nights at this cabin, for a last-minute ski trip between Christmas and New Years. Everything was immaculate and just as described, with great communication from the host throughout. There was even a brief power outage during our stay, but we were unaffected because of the backup generator on the property -- we had power throughout the outage. Would highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, nice location

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in September, 2024. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped. The owners pay great attention to details such as providing flashlights, which we used during an area-wide power outage. Location is well away from Hwy 108 and very quiet. As advertised, one has a nice view from the front deck which we enjoyed, and Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge are minutes away. We would stay there again.

Peace and quiet

Exactly as described online. Being toward the end of August, there wasn't very many people around in this quiet little neighborhood. We enjoyed borrowing the kayaks and cruising around the lake. Would like to visit again this winter for some snow fun!

Great little cabin near Dodge Ridge

Great cabin, super clean with lots of entertainment for the kids (games, dvd..). Very quiet neighborhood close (15 min) to DodgeRidge ski. Only downside was the bed in main bedroom which was very uncomfortable. Owner suggested to remove topper which helped a bit, but hope they change mattress in near future for better sleep. Other than that, great place to stay with all amenities.

We stayed here for our family ski trip to Dodge Ridge. Thank you so much for your hostility. We truly enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean and kitchen had all we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well each night. Welcome wine and snacks were also very much appreciated. They even provided a sled so that our kids could enjoy snow. Kids definitely appreciate all sorts of games! We’d definitely like to come back! Thank you.

Lovely Long Barn Cabin

My husband and I wanted to come to Long Barn to show our puppy, Wally, a Great Pyrenees-Husky mix, snow for the first time! Wally was not disappointed. He had such a good time that he would just come inside to sleep. The front yard was perfect for sledding with the provided sleds. The Cabin was clean, warm, and cozy with great amenities. It was a great relaxing stay and we so enjoyed playing outside with Wally or just staying inside by the fire and watching movies. We would love to come back again and we highly recommend this stay!

Perfect getaway for a ski weekend!

The home was very clean and comfortable. We were very impressed by how organized and new all the household items were. The host was very communicative and accommodating for our stay. The location of the house was perfect for our ski getaway. It comfortably fit our family of four. While this was not an issue for our stay, the driveway is steep (as described by host) so it can be challenging in the snow. The host did have someone come and re-clear the driveway since there was new snow (very considerate!). Also, as noted by the host, the wi-fi is via satellite, so we did have some minor connectivity issues. None of this deterred us from having a wonderful stay though. We'd definitely rent here again! Thank you!

Darling cabin

This cabin is darling. Cute cabin decor. And more space than we needed. With one full day bed, twin trundle and twin bunks in one room and the queen in another. Plus a pull out in the living room! Two gaming systems were perfect for the kids. AND the two kayaks we were able to use up at pinecrest were an absolute treat! Plus the BBq was very fancy. I have to say this was the best place i have ever rented from VRBO. There were logs for you to use the fireplace if u needed. We unfortunately didnt have time to use fire. But i have stayed at rentals before where they didnt supply firewood. So thats a plus. I highly recommend this place to stay.. 10 out of 10

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! We happened to be there during a big snow, and although we lost power a few times, the hosts were incredibly prepared with a generator and all the supplies needed to keep everything running smoothly. They were attentive, quick to respond, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. When the snow piled up and needed plowing, they handled it promptly so we could get in and out safely.The cabin itself was perfect for our family of four—great size, very comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. There were lots of games to keep us entertained, plus thoughtful touches like snacks, coloring packets for the kids, and even sleds so we could fully enjoy the snowy weather.The location was fantastic, especially being so close to Mia’s for an easy and delicious dinner option. Both the husband and wife were so kind, accommodating, and quick to reply to any questions we had.We truly loved our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommend!
