Inspired by the Spanish colonial architecture of the tropics Villa Prana is designed to allow for constant air circulation and open to the sights, sounds, and scents of ocean and jungle.
The high 5 m ceilings, wide open rooms with natural wood and stone finishes, and sensual ocean breezes ensure a refreshing and comfortable environment even during the hottest months of the year. There is also A/C in each bedroom for your additional comfort though you will really not need it. The aim at creating the villa was to ensure a healthy, natural and comfortable life - Pura Vida and help you connect with your Self.
Some of the exquisite details you will find at Villa Prana include - king size 2 x 2 m solid wood beds special design, high quality mattresses, ensuite bathrooms with open air showers and beautiful gardens under the stars ( mosquito nets and windows at your disposal), amazing green colour water pool and jacuzzi built in natural Italian stone.
All floors and terraces are finished in natural cool white stonework giving 'barefoot elegance' a whole new meaning. Every material is natural and ECO friendly. It absorbs the heat of the sun and you can walk with pleasure on top of it.
The GENEROUS OUTDOOR AREA , which includes beautiful infinity pool, jacuzzi, rancho, and barbeque center is perfect for relaxing, bird watching, yoga, or simply enjoying the tremendous views and natural beauty of the Pacific coast. Your private swimming pool terrase is perfect for STARGAZING.
WILD LIFE
The gardens of villa Prana are a natural park.
You can watch monkeys pass by as you enjoy your private massage or watch hawks swirl above you as you float peacefully in your soothing light green coloured water pool with an amazing view to the ocean.
Scarlet macaws, Iguanas, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, armadillos, pizote, sloths, deer, foxes, and a huge variety of birds including hummingbirds, toucan, parrots, motmots, tanagers, and pelicans and many other live in the area and regularly visit the property. This is your private biological reserve!
A very private path inside the property leads down to the river , where you can go for a nice walk.
Our wonderful guardian and garden keeper Mario will ensure that your stay here is undisturbed and unforgettable. He will be happy to help you arrange excursions, including zip-lining, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, snorkelling, cycling, birdwatching, hiking, golfing.
At Villa Prana you can relax in luxurious privacy and yet you are only 5 minutes away from the internationally famous beach town of Montezuma. There you will find a wide choice of restaurants offering international and local cuisine, a Saturday organic market, yoga classes, along with every vacation adventure you could want from snorkelling, zip line tours, horse back riding on the beach, mountain biking , to surfing and hiking.
Along with all of Montezuma's own spectacular beaches and waterfalls Villa Prana is only 20 minutes from the world renowned surfing beaches of Mal Pais and Santa Theresa and close to Cabo Blanco and Curu Nature Reserves .
The villa is 5 min drive from the centre of Montezuma town, 5 min drive to the best restaurants in the region - Playa de las Artistas, Cocolores and Sano Banano, 10 min walking distance -3 min by car to the wonderful Aves yoga, 5 min walking distance to the entrance path of Montezuma waterfalls, 5 minutes to Canopy Zip line.
