Large new house in a recent development. Easy check-in, clean, quiet. Only issue was with the drip coffee maker, which needs replacing.

Upon arriving, the refrigerator icemaker was not working. The oven door went to opened it. The smell was so bad and the oven looked like it hadn’t been ever cleaned. The vegetable binBroken TV in one of the bedrooms, not working. Smoke alarm and one of the bedrooms was dismantled. The pool was beyond belief. It was not an inground pool. It was a blowup pool that consisted of a pump that ran almost the entire two days that we stayed. There were two ladders on each side. One of them one was tied at the top with the coat hanger. The other was adjusted to the side you dare not even try to attempt to get in the pool. This house was a lovely house I must say. However, the garage was full of equipment that if we wanted to get two cars in there, you were afraid too. The garage door made such a terrible noise. He was afraid that it might fall down as it rose. This home was just not acceptable. Certainly not the way that it was displayed on their website. It was obvious that before the rental no one came to view the home to make sure that everything was working properly. I was very disappointed in this Home. There were just four of us women and two of them had come all the way from Atlanta for their Rockport visit with us. I would never rent this home again.

Quick and short but dissapointed

We were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and upkeep. It felt like a rushed turnover: towels had black hairs, and trash from the last guests was just left in the garage, causing a bad smell. Sheets and pillowcases had stains, mattresses had no protectors, and they were out of K-cups for the Keurig.Some light fixtures were missing bulbs or glass covers. The pool is above ground with rusty ladders, and there were fire ants in the backyard and ants in the driveway.The property really needs a thorough cleaning, better maintenance, and pest control before I’d recommend it.

House was awesome the pool wasn’t swim ready at first , but they got someone out very quick. Short drive to beach , walmart gas etc . Overalls very nice. The pool table was a hot spot for our family !!

Lots of room

The house is nice, owner answers messages pretty quickly. There are some things that you should bring with you:Dish towels, extra blankets and extra wash cloths.The floors were kind of gritty and your feet will get black if you don’t wear shoes in the house. The outlets in the master bath were not working but hopefully that is addressed before the next customer. The laundry room is very convenient but there is a step down that is not marked and could easily cause a fall. The fifth bedroom does not have doors, just curtains for privacy. When we went the pool was not useable and the lawn was not cut so we could not use the back yard. If you plan on cooking you should consider taking your own pots and pans, the nonstick pans are pretty scratched up. There were fire ants by the front yard water hose and different kid of ants in kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The pool table and foosball table are great and provide hours of fun. The location is good, only about ten minutes from town and the beach. house.

Nice place.

The home was clean. Plenty of room and oof sleeping area. The only thing was the swimming pool needed a cleaning. Definitely would stay there again.

Great location for a quick getaway!

Great location not too far from the beach. Place was accommodating enough for family or 8. Pool table and foose ball table were great diversions for adults and children. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family looking for a nice roomy place to stay while in Rockport!

Wkd getaway in quiet neighborhood…

Plenty of space for our big group! Huge empty closets, nice laundry, huge kitchen. We ate some meals at the house; kitchen was fairly stocked with dishes and cookware. We could have used a couple of dishrags and kitchen towels for clean up but made do with a sponge and napkins or whatever.There were absolutely no extra blankets anywhere so keep this in mind if you need extras for pak n play or similar needs. Low towel and washcloth supply for our group size. Floors felt dirty annd feet got gritty and noticed bar stools had layers of black dust along rungs. Not a deal breaker for any of these things, for us. We like clean but biggest deal was good location, plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms which this place scored very well for that. Nice pool table, foosball, high hair, couches, dining table, above ground pool!! Communication with host was easy and always a quick response. We kept our requests to a minimum but really appreciated quick response time and ease of entry to the home. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the local restaurants and tourist attractions. If you’re interested in history, the USS Lexington is not too far away.

Beautiful Home but…

Rented the home for a family Christmas gathering - Great features, plenty of space and we loved the layout but…Immediately noticed mold around the air vents in the kitchen and game room and found mold growing in several other places during our stay (under the kitchen sink and in kitchen drawers). Do not stay in this home until host can verify the mold has been properly treated! Also found dirty dishes in the cabinets with food still in them. Two of the beds had filthy sheets so they obviously hadn’t been changed/washed in between stays…The host has been made aware of the mold.

Hosts a large group comfortably!

We had a great stay here! There is ample room in the house and it easily accommodated our large family, including 2 small children. It’s an easy drive to get to and around Rockport. Our only complaint is that the floors were fairly dirty. Walking around barefoot resulted in very dirty feet. Despite that, we would definitely rent here again!

Very nice vacation home

Large group get away

This home accommodated our group of 14 nicely. There were a few inconveniences…I didn’t pack any spices cause it said spice pantry and I figured at least salt and pepper would be there, but there was no salt and pepper. No sponges to wash dishes. We ran out of toilet paper ran and grab some along with paper towels… Many of the soap dispensers were out and we added water. Stove top pan were all tiny but there are quite a few of them, so we just did things in multiple. The lighter was out for the grill and we just picked that up too. Places is nice. Host was great as we originally had booked for 12 and talked to him about adding two more and on the day of arrival I ended up letting them know that we ended up bringing two dogs as well. We had no issues and Were able to check in an hour earlier than expected. Over all Id book again.

Beautiful home close to the water

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was very accommodating to our needs with 4 small children. Very clean and very peaceful. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Multiple Family Bliss

This house had a great setup for multiple family’s. We were a party of 13 which included 5 adults and 8 kids. (3 family’s) each family had its own sleeping area with bathroom which was really nice. The kitchen and living area was centrally located. Nice setup overall.
