At Lake Time Lodge, lake life is the focus! The lodge is centrally located off of route 2 between Port Clinton, Catawba, and Marblehead to allow guests to have access to all local amenities within minutes.
Sandusky is also only 20 minutes away!
Sitting across from Middle Harbor, our lodge offers a view of the harbor which is home to several bald eagle families. It is not unusual to see eagles flying overhead while sitting on the deck enjoying the sunset.
Unit 2 is the upstairs unit. It is air conditioned and has 2 living room spaces, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms & 2 half baths, 2 kitchen areas, and its own deck with grill and fire pit. There is also ample parking to accommodate multiple cars and trailered boats or other toys.

We had a lot of fun the place was very beautiful just think maybe updating the list of items would be helpful for the upstairs unit since it listed hair dryers and mentioned a dishwasher in the check-out instructions but didn’t have either of those.

Disappointed the post didn’t mention it was a 2-unit until day of arrival message. Would’ve preferred the whole house so we didn’t have to worry about our noise level for the other occupants. Dead flies/bugs throughout the whole house that could’ve easily been taken care of if it was cleaned. Not sure the sheets were washed?

My friends and I had our annual golf/fantasy football trip here and it was perfect. Close to food, golf and able to get to the ferry in under 15 minutes to get to put in bay. The property had more than enough space for us and everything we needed!

Nice accommodations

Nice property for a group of friends, all beds are individual vs shared. Plenty of room in common areas for hanging out as well.

Not what we expected

I can't say the listing is inaccurate, but I think it should be clear that you're only renting the 2nd floor. When you enter the main door there is another door to the 1st floor of the house that only has a keyed lock on our side, with no deadbolt and no way to lock it from our side. Made me very nervous to think whoever is in the first floor could come into our space at any time. Luckily, I don't think anyone stayed in the first floor the night we were there. Beyond that the place was adequate, although definitely "rustic". No freezer, no large fridge only two mini-fridges which meant no ice for drinks and our ice cream had to be thrown away. No hand towels or hand soap at the sinks etc. And the main living room has cloth couches with various colored stains on them, so we didn't want to sit on them. This place might be perfect for a bunch of adult "outdoorsy" men on a fishing trip, but I definitely wouldn't take a family with kids here.

It was a great place for our church Youth group to spend the night after a long day at Cedar Point. Having four showers made getting ready quick and easy. Great experience overall.

It's a wonderfully comfortable vacation home

The rooms are spacious and clean. Next to a highway, but no highway noise is heard. Additionally, parking is convenient. It's a wonderfully comfortable vacation home.

Annual Guys Fishing Trip

Very comfortable. We fish with Champion Charters. Checked in Friday evening. Everything was clean. Very convenient having 4 showers for 12 men. House had a couple of picnic tables in the back with a big shade tree to hangout. House owner was very communicative and reliable. There is no communal table to play cards or have everyone sit at, so we brought a 6 foot folding table. It was a great stay.

Great house

Great house..only down fall is that it's on a main street and its loud so sitting out there was not very peaceful, its also not waterfront. However, clean, spacious a s nice place to stay.

Comfy

My wife and I stayed one night after a concert on Put in Bay. Check in was completed on line and instructions for accessing the unit were clear and easy (thank goodness because it was raining buckets when we entered the door combination.) Very clean and comfortable inside. I would recommend it highly and will stay again when I am in the area.

Overall great stay

Overall wonderful stay. We had 7 adults and 3 children. We rented unit 2. There were 11 beds, (10 singles and one double), 4 showers and two toilets. Two tvs, two living areas/eating areas. Two separate suites with mini fridge in each, stove in one unit, microwave, coffee pot, grill on front deck, linens included, very clean and accommodating. Air conditioning throughout with additional window unit and some ceiling fans. Minor suggestions: bug zapper needed on front porch (front door attracting multiple bugs due to being so close to water when porch light is on), code lock is very touch sensitive if that could be adjusted it would be helpful, stock at least 14 towels and washcloths being that there are that many beds (maybe 16 if you include couches), install plugs in bathrooms and add full size fridge/freezer. Was perfect for our three families and would be epic for a fishing stay. Will recommend for sleepers from my uncle captain John’s Too Much To Do Fishing Charters!

Great for big groups but…

We had a good stay. It was close to the beach and Cedar Point. The house is set close to the road so it was loud. Since it’s a shared house the other guest’s came back late and were really loud and obnoxious. The beds weren’t comfortable and the rooms had blinds but no curtains so it was really bright in the morning. Cooking for a big group might be hard because the ‘kitchen’ is pretty basic and there are two small fridges. Not enough room to store food for a large group. If you rented both sides of the house it might work better. For a one night stay that we had it was fine.

Great location!

Location was great, little misleading as “Lakehouse” you cannot walk over to the lake it’s all marsh. There is NOT a full-size refrigerator so just a heads up. But beds were comfortable and place was clean

A great stay!

We stayed in unit 2 for and extended stay and it worked out fantastic! Ken was great and even brought us firewood so we didn’t have to buy the small bundles for the firepit! Great location close to Cedar Point and Camp Perry! Five Stars!

Great value and location!

There was plenty of room for my family of 4 and my sister’s family of 4 to stay here. There were even 3 extra beds. I had to contact the owner one time and he responded very quickly. I might have to make staying at this house a new annual tradition!
