The cottage itself. It was nice, warm and cozy. Historically beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. A couple of things we could have done without and a couple of things not available that we looked forward too. Did love the mirrors . All in all it was a great stay.
No back door access
Returned to a full trash can, probably some neighbor. Luckily the trash truck came Friday morning and we were able to throw our trash before we left

We showed up at the agreed check-in time & the place wasn't even close to being ready - bed unmade, dog hair all over, big pile of dirty laundry. Contacted the host who had no idea or explanation. She said she'd contact the cleaners & let us know when the place was ready. 3 hours later with no word, we went back to check the place out & it was finally ready. The place seemed clean enough but my partner ended up with bug bites all over her hands by the time we left. Still no offer of explanation or compensation from the host.

The little cottage is adorable, conveniently located, and a few blocks from downtown. Inside is clean, cozy, intuitive. There is an assortment of towels, small and large appliances, information about local activities and restaurants. The host is kind, helpful and a great resource.

We enjoyed our time in this little cottage. Great location in a nice neighborhood and a good price. Great communication with host, we were even allowed an early check in which was much appreciated. Would stay again.

The cottage was perfect for our occasion. It was really hot…the AC was on and cooling the place when we arrived. Huge! Location perfect for walking into Main Street.

Great Walla Walla location, cottage

Great location to downtown Walla Walla, clean and comfortable. Winery tasting rooms, Main Street shops and restaurants, five minutes away. Enjoyed our stay.

Disappointed

The house is old and in need of dusting - blinds, fan, fan vent, air conditioners. Furniture is old and bed frame moves when bumped. No place to sit outside. Plastic chairs are dirty and yard is a mess. Neighborhood is sketchy. Fridge does not open unless door to laundry room door is open. Low end rental which is why the price is right.

I manage and run a property maintenance company that takes care of several vrbo properties and when i arrived at the house, i was shocked at the appearance of the yard. It wasn't mowed or weedeated and it looked like it hadn't been done for a long time. A family member of mine even drove by it a week prior to my stay and it wasn't even mowed then.Inside the house was cute. It did give a homey feel. But if I was thee property manager or owner, I would seriously have a talk to the housekeeper about how she cleans. There were cobwebs in corners and by cabinets. When i looked through the blinds, i couldn't believe the amount of cobwebs that were on the inside of the windows. In the description of the house, it stated that there is a sleeper sofa bed. Friday night I tried to pull out the bed when I realized that the frame is broken. Luckily, I found an air mattress in the closet so we used that.Also it stated in the binder located in the house that there is a working house phone. It was a cute antique phone but it didn't work. There was no dial tone. Just static. As i said, the inside it really cute but there are items that really need to be taken care of.

Nice little house

I enjoyed staying in this nice little house near downtown Walla Walla. Most of the popular local attractions are in walking distance and the place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive to my questions and requests.

Convenient and comfortable

Close to downtown. Comfortable and “right-sized” for me and my pup. Mostly fenced yard made us feel right at home.

Cottage Stay in Walla Walla

Adorable cottage and an area of Walla Walla that was so close to everything and felt safe.We loved our stay overall, but there were so many things about the cottage that was not as described or expected.The place certainly needs to be cleaned with more care. Our sheets were definitely not clean when we arrived and dirt particles were present at the foot of the bed between the sheets. The shower and living room all had cobwebs present, and surfaces were a bit dusty. We were excited to use the outside grill but it was empty of any propane, and the pictured amenity for a grill was not available as it was broken and covered up in the back of the yard.We appreciated the ability to use the washer and dryer, as well as a full sized fridge. Thank you to our host for answering our call for check in directions, although we would recommend sending those over through the app before hand if that is possible. Our host gave wonderful restaurant recommendations and we are so grateful. Thank you for an overall great stay.

Horrendous communication, moldy food on the counter, no toilet paper, you get the gist…

The host is essentially unreachable and we encountered issue after issue with this host and property. The day we arrived we couldn’t get ahold of her until after the check in time to find out how to get into the house (the code for the door, etc.) We sent multiple messages with no response and called but got not answer. She then called back and said something about not having been looking at her phone and did not seem to even know which property we were staying at. When we arrived and we finally able to get into the house, we found a moldy baguette on the counter that expired 3 weeks ago. We also found garbage in the yard, the fire pit destroyed and furniture laying around the yard. We also found just a tiny bit of a roll of toilet paper in the entire house. We asked about where we might find more (having searched every unlocked cabinet) but because she didn’t respond we had to go out and buy our own toilet paper. We really are pretty low-maintenance guests, but it genuinely felt like the host of this property was entirely unprepared for us to come stay. I would think really hard before booking this VRBO.

Walla Walla tasting

This is a perfectly located quaint cottage just off the highway 12. It is very close to downtown tasting rooms. The cottage was very cozy and had a some nice amenities. It is a little noisy in the morning from road noise, but very quiet in the evenings. The bath towels are very small and super thin. It may time to upgrade the towels to some larger softer towels. The kitchen knives could also use an upgrade. The bed kind of sinks in the middle as well.Overall it suited our needs for our wine tasting trip.

My husband and I wanted to own a little piece of Walla Walla after only visiting it once! There is something truly magic about this place - or maybe it's something in the wine? Either way, the wine, the food, and fantastic people make it one of my favorite places on this earth. I hope you fall in love with Walla Walla as we have during your stay here.

We really enjoy going out to dinner and it's so nice to be able to walk to every restaurant in town - in heels! The location of this home is why we bought it - you can't beat it. It's so easy to access the highway, and EVERYTHING is within walking distance.
