White Salmon Camp Out (Cold AC, Fire Ring, BBQ)

Our Keystone Passport Ultralite is nestled in a thick stand of Fir, Pine, Oak, and Maple trees and is surrounded with abundant wildlife. We are minutes from downtown White Salmon and Hood River. Whatever brings you to The Gorge, this RV will be a perfect base camp for you. We stock our camper with bottled water, fresh eggs, instant oatmeals, herbal teas, coffee and creamers. If there's anything else you may need just let me know.
The space
When you turn off of the main road, you will come up our driveway. Our home is to the left, and if you follow the driveway up and to the right it will take you to the RV. There are two clearly visible parking spots right in front of the RV. At dusk, the rope lights come on in front of and around the RV to illuminate the seating area and the entry to the RV. The RV has full power and water hookup so you always have fresh water and electricity available. The RV boasts 1 queen bed, 2 twin bunks in the back, and the dinette folds down to sleep another 2 kids or 1 adult if needed. If you bring your furry friend with you I am fine with your dog sleeping in the RV as long as nothing is damaged:)

Two parking spots right in front of the camper are always available. If you have a special situation like you're pulling a boat, or another camper, etc., just reach out to me and we can talk about special arrangements. We have lots of space so I'm sure we can make most situations work.

Are you a First Responder, Active Duty/Retired Military or a Licensed Foster Family? Ask about our “Others First” Discount:)!

There is space for a couple tents so you can have a group larger than the RV will sleep. There is a $20/night charge for tents so just let me know if this would help you.

We live in a natural area that is very tranquil and peaceful.

We are 20 minutes from Trout Lake and all the surrounding attractions like The Ice Caves, Indian Heaven Wilderness, and Mt Adam’s South Climb.

The White Salmon River is 2 minutes away where both Wet Planet and other rafting outfitters launch and take out of the river.

Having neighbors nearby it’s usually pretty quiet out by 8pm. Our kids are usually out playing no earlier than 8am each morning so it’s a perfect time to sit out listening to the song birds and the turkeys when they come through while you sip your coffee.

With living in a natural area we have lots of wildlife that visit our property. Some like to get into the garbage and other things that are left out. Please do not leave any food or garbage out where animals could get to it because it will need to be cleaned up. Please put all garbage and recycling in the cans down just below the parking spots and we will empty that daily. Garbage in black bags, recycling in blue bags.

Klickitat County regulates the burn bans and fire danger in our area so that will need to be checked in regards to a camp fire.

BZ Corners is 5 miles north and has Logs Restaurant and a gas station with some basic essentials (milk, eggs, and a lot of random things). Harvest Market is the grocery store in White Salmon and is basically a small Safeway.

White Salmon has several restaurants that we love. Everybody’s Brewing’s pulled pork nachos are our favorite. Feast has an awesome lunch menu. Beneventi’s Pizza is a family owned hole in the wall pizza place that’s great. They even deliver to our address.

Of course Hood River has a lot of restaurants and I’m happy to make recommendations if you would like some. Too many to list!

Since this is an RV I am stocking it with as many essentials as I can fit but space is limited. If you need ANYTHING that I’ve overlooked or forgotten please ask and I’m sure we have it and can get it to you. Baking soda, extra towels, anything really.

We love dogs so if you do bring your dog with you, that's great! Please make sure that nothing is damaged. If you leave the RV to go to town, please either take your pet with you or have them in a crate in the RV so that they don't get nervous here without you:)

We want to be available but as we have learned over the years we usually go on vacation to get away and relax. So if you need anything we are here but our aim is to give you space and privacy. My contact info will be on the wall in the RV so if anything comes up just shoot me a text and we’ll get it taken care of:)
