BOARDWALK is the only LODGE on MT. HOOD that ACCOMMODATES LARGE GROUPS of 30-42 GUESTS COMFORTABLY (44 Maximum Occupancy). Boardwalk Lodge in Government Camp is the perfect retreat for your large and small groups and families. (Pets OK upon approval). It's the perfect place to get away w/family, meet for your next family reunion, church groups, CORPORATE RETREATS, ski/snowboard vacations, or weddings. Companies have used Boardwalk for retreats. Two state-of-the art Deluxe Hot Tubs: one on each of the top floor decks for incredible mountain views.

Government Camp is a very sweet walking Village. Boardwalk's location is prime in the Village. It is nestled back in a forested location and still very close to the main loop road of Government Camp. A shuttle bus to Timberline Resort stops at the Museum, across the street.

Second time we've used this property for our organization's annual retreat, with 40 people. It's just about perfect. Not great for people who struggle with stairs, but otherwise it is a great place.

Five separate families, multiple werw three generations. Everyone with their private place, but amazing group room for everyone to meet up in. Right in town, sledding on the street next door, general store two blocks away. Perfect christmas gathering place.

Quiet Perfect Location

We are a hiking group of 16 that stayed here for a week. Location was perfect to access the surrounding day hikes. Lots of parking in front of the lodge. We walked to restaurants in the evening for dinner. Beds were comfortable and apartments were spacious so we could spread out and relax after a day of hiking. Group loved gathering in the the hot tubs after hiking. John was great to work with, very responsive and kind. Great space for groups.Thanks John.

We brought 40 people and had a great time. Space was perfect with multiple units with separate kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms. Worked beautifully for us. John was a breeze to work with.

Perfect group getaway

We were 3 families with teenagers + their friends. There was plenty of space for each group to have chill time. We all enjoyed the game room and large living room on the ground floor and had group dinners, games and movies down there. Easy walk to restaurants and the little grocery store. We all walked to Cosmic Tubing at Ski Bowl East and had a blast. Short drives to Meadows and Timberline (or shuttle) for skiing/snowboarding. Beautiful snowshoe and cross country trails from the Nordic center for us non-downhillers. All 5 units were super clean. Hot tubs too. Super organized throughout and great communication from John. Loved this place!

Fantastic Team Offsite

The Boardwalk was a perfect location for us to host our first offsite since the pandemic. Each unit was well stocked and the game room allowed for great discussions. The units allowed folks to have some space apart and in small groups and the proximity to the town of government camp and all the wonderful hiking trails allowed us all to get outside together highly recommend!

Great Family Reunion

John was great throughout the process. He was very accommodating and very prompt in his communication. We had a family reunion with 33 people of all ages and the property worked out very well. It was nice for individual families to have their own space, but still have enough common areas for group meals and games. There was a constant rotation of people using the pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. We were there during a heat wave, but we were able keep the property cool even though it didnā€™t have AC. John was very helpful with his explanation of how to keep it cool, and provided multiple box fans to help the process. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the Magic Mile at Timberline, hiking to Mirror Lake, alpine slides at SkiBowl, and lots of time cooling off at Trillium Lake. All in all, we had a great family reunion! Thanks John!!!

We had a great stay with our extended family. It worked well for four families with kids. Each family had plenty of space and privacy while the game room was awesome for all the kids and adults to be together and have fun. We highly recommend this property.

Great stay for a group

The property was spacious. The host was super easy to communicate with. Had a blast being right in the center of government camp with a great game room and lots of room to spread out. The beds weren't super comfortable but we weren't expecting luxurious. It šŸ’Æ fit the bill of what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay

Awesome unit that was absolutely perfect for our experience and use. Lots of room, the game area was a hit with our group and incredibly convienient location. The unit manager/owner was incredibly helpful with communication. Hoping to come back next year!

It had everything we needed for our Family Reunion, including a great location!

We loved our stay. The complex is conveniently located to the ski mountains, hiking trails, and walking distance to the restaurants in Gov't Town. There was room for everything and everybody. We could have an infant sleeping in one area and our teens playing games in another. Yet we could still all gather and share meals and great conversation. The owner/manager was very, very accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend it!
