Cozy Lake Retreat

The house has a beautiful view from the living room & deck. It rained while we were here, but we all had an amazing time anyway because it was so cozy! The hot tub under the covered deck was fantastic as well!

Nice place with a gorgeous view!

It's a beautiful view and great amenities! The place itself is amazing! There no actual yard from the house but it's close by. Water toys for avaliable rental and docks right outside. Host was amazing and communicated better than any other BnB we have done. We celebrated my parents 50th anniversary and it was perfect for us!

Sweet house on the lake

Pretty much everything in the house has been updated. The setup worked great for our family group of 11. The owner has other properties on the same parcel and had a nice movie night and live music. The fishing off the dock was great!

Surprisingly pleased

Our family had a wonderful time!! Inside of modular was very comfortable clean and modern i think we were given a great description of the inside it did not disappoint but it was described as a house in the discription so that was I felt a little misleading that being said once we we settled in and began to enjoy our time we all quickly realized we were happy and loved our time there the host responded to us anytime we needed anything and they were happy to help us with anything so I would recommend this place recommend this recomerecommend

Great Lake home

Newly Renovated home, store conveniently 2-3 mins away, great views of the lake from the house. Private dock for fishing, dock was a bit scary with no guards so beautiful with little ones, fishing game did come check on us but he was just doing his job. The cleaners could do a better job at dusting all the cobwebs around the windows panes, floors wasn't clean but overall house is recommended.

Can’t wait to come back!!

Our weekend was perfect! Angelique made it so easy to get settled in and rent lake toys to make the weekend even better. We filled every sleeping spot available and while on the smaller side (which we knew) it comfortable slept 13 adults. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to return! The only complaint we had was that we happened to come during a time that the bugs were really bad at night and were attracted to the lights and swarmed the deck but we know that risk of bugs being outside and also that this was completely out of Angelique’s control.

Great place to stay. Wish the water is clearer.

We stayed in the house on the water, but unfortunately the algae was pretty bad at the shoreline at the end of June. Swimming wasn't an option. BUT, they have onsite rentals, and a short ride out on the water with a jetski and it was great swimming, a calm lake, and a pretty awesome time. Angelique recommended towing a inner tube for the kids, and this was a huge hit. Didn't even think a waverunner could tow one, but it did so with two adults on the ski and two kids on the tube. Awesome time all around. Angelique was a great host. I'd definitely stay again... when the water is clearer :)

Good not great

The house was nice and the kitchen was renovated. The online listing does not disclose that much of the outside (the lawn and dock) are shared spaces with multiple other surrounding properties. We also experienced some issues with the cleanliness of the house (cobwebs and dead bugs on most surfaces and windows). Communication with host was a bit unprofessional. Overall it’s not a bad spot but listing should be updated and communication streamlined.

The outdoor spa tub was broken, the water in it was full of garbage (the kids were disappointed), there was no ping pong table like in the photo, the curtains in the living room were dirty, there was no laundry detergent (had to call for delivery) and not enough quilts ( Had to call for delivery), mice were running from the ceiling at night.

Great stay

This manufactured home has been remodeled in the inside and is beautiful. The outside could use some work, but the house definitely did not disappoint. We had a bachlorette party here for the weekend. Angelique was very accommodating to our needs. She was very friendly, and responsive. She even left a cute bachlorette sign for the bride. There isn’t a ton of restaraunts nearby so we decided to cook all weekend. The kitchen was fully equipt with cooking essentials except spices and cooking oil (so bring your own). The house had its own dock which was a surprise since it wasn’t in the photos and it was lovely for hanging out on all weekend. Angelique had a lot of extras you could add on like rentals for the water. There was a lot of spiders and spider webs throughout the house and property so beware. I believe it just comes with the territory of being right on the lake. The hot tub was a nice touch but didn’t really get very hot. We loved the views from this deck, and also loved all of the seating which accomidated our 9 person party. Thank you Angelique for a great stay! We will be back

What A Gem!!!

Awesome for people with kiddos or pets, and also amazing for couples! I’m starting this by saying that I lived in Lakeport for a brief stint in my early 20’s and then happened to marry someone whose family vacations there. I love Lake County for a lot of reasons, and Angelique’s place was such a beautiful representation of how gorgeous this community can be. First off, everything you need to cook is in this house down to pasta strainers, cheese graters, full set of pots/pans, baking sheets, TWO crockpots, serving dishes, and all glassware and utensils. My husband is Italian, I’m Portuguese, so we cook everywhere we go like we do at home, which is a lot! I was able to accommodate some friends staying at WorldMark and host a dinner of 14, including little ones! The furniture was all so, so comfortable and clean. There is a washing machine and dryer there if you need to use them (bring your own detergent though). There were beds pictured from the listing but then two rollaways twins in each bedroom closet. The place is so updated! From the outside it looks like any other house on the street but the inside is so cute and useful! We used the stove and oven and even the dishwasher and everything worked perfectly. Ac was fantastic, TVs in the living room and bedroom, huge dining room table with the sweetest welcome when we walked in!
