Less than a mile from the Downtown Mall, this expansive North Downtown English cottage offers over 3,200 beautifully renovated square feet on nearly half an acre. Featuring hardwood and stone floors throughout, the home includes 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms with luxurious details such as steam showers, radiant floor heating, and elegant tile work.

Please note: The City requires us to limit advertising of the home to a maximum of 6 adults for short-term rentals. While the home comfortably accommodates more guests, we are no longer permitted to advertise a 14 adult guest occupancy. There is no limit on children and we've adjusted our settings to allow up to 6 adult guests to be entered with up to 8 children. Please use the updated settings to adjust your guest count. The Space

Terrace Level
Two bedrooms, both with king beds, and one full bathroom with a shower and tub combination. This level also includes a fully equipped kitchen, stacked laundry unit, desk space, and an open living and dining area. The kitchen is stocked for cooking and serving meals. The living room features a queen pullout sofa.

Main Level
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a private primary suite with a king bed and a custom walk-in shower. The hall bathroom features a tub and shower combination. Laundry room located by the hall bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. This level includes an open-concept kitchen, living room, dining area, sunroom. The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked and offers a gas range, double ovens, dishwasher, dual sinks, and granite countertops. The living room also includes a queen pullout sofa.

Upper Level
A private primary suite featuring a king bed and en suite bathroom with a large custom walk-in shower and clawfoot tub. Attached to the suite is a cozy nook with a trundle/daybed that converts into two twin beds, along with a gas fireplace.

Each bedroom is outfitted with a 50-inch Smart TV, creating a boutique hotel feel throughout the home. Both living rooms feature 55-inch Smart TVs.

Fresh linens, towels, and hairdryers are provided, along with a starter supply of essentials including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, trash bags, and laundry supplies. Guests are responsible for replenishing items beyond the initial supply.

Outdoor spaces are equally inviting, with multiple patios, decks, fencing, a garden shed, and charming stone walls. The property offers generous off-street parking, including a circular drive. Walk or bike to nearby parks and trails.

North Downtown is one of Charlottesville’s most sought-after neighborhoods. You’ll be close to the Downtown Mall, University of Virginia, Martha Jefferson Hospital, excellent dining, outdoor recreation, historic sites, and local vineyards. The area is peaceful, safe, and friendly.

Davis Field is just a 4-minute walk away and connects directly to Northeast Park. McIntire Park and the Charlottesville Skate Park are only 0.4 miles away.
