Weekend Getaway

This was a nice little place to stay for weekend. It was not to far away from the beach and hollywood blvd with all the restaurants. The place was clean and easy to get into with no problems. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect Paradise

Studio loft was absolutely beautiful!! Warm, inviting and interesting! Val's decor and use of space are phenomenal!! Spotless, ample amenities, close proximity to dining and shopping and a beautiful neighborhood for those that enjoy running or the occasional nature walk. Will definitely stay again!!

Nice little holiday home

The home is clean and tidy with everything you need for a holiday, such as an equipped kitchenette, barbecue, terrace. . . Very friendly communication with the owner. We really enjoyed our time there, and we will come back again.

Cozy get away

Convenient location, clean space, well use of the space, and quick response time with property owner Val. Items to consider bringing with you beach chairs, beach towels, magnets to provide a curtain for door, light snacks cereal, bagels butter, coffee, sugar, milk and water.

The location of this stay is great. It's a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and close to downtown. I do not agree that the beds are queen-sized, like the post says. They are, in fact, double beds, not queens. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Stay was good and bedding comfortable. A suggestion to the owner. Leave the small air-conditioner on low for a while before guest come. The loft was much warmer the first night until we did this.

Tiny and cramped

The property was poorly maintained, and a cockroach was in the bathroom. Access to the upstairs mattress (it was essentially just a mattress) was via a very steep ladder, which would be unsafe for children and seniors. Anyone taller than 3 feet would bang their head on the ceiling upstairs. There were not even the basic facilities in the kitchen (e.g. three plastic glasses) but some cutlery. It was poorly lit and had noisy air conditioning. This would only be a place for young people on a "Spring Break".

Hello Paul, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. And your review has hurt us greatly. I want to take the time to respond to your complaints. What you encountered was not a cockroach. It is called a palmetto bug. They are native to Florida and they fly in when guests leave doors open. We can't help that. Our studio is a tiny house style 2-level design and fits the description. If you needed something bigger, I'd have been glad to give you a refund. But the description and pictures are exact. You said 3 plastic glass. There are 4 mugs, 4 glasses, 4 bowls, 4 plates and matching cutlery. We never get 1 stars. Our guests are always happy here. They are adults, flight attendants, families. A wide range of professionals come here and have a splendid time. No, the loft is not suitable for senior citizens. We never said it did. The pictures and description should have made that clear.

It's not much, but it is nice

My buddy and I traveled down to S. Florida to attend some concerts at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. We wanted somewhere close to the beaches, the casino, and some other sites we wanted to visit. This fit the bill on location.The space is small, but we knew that. It was clean and we felt safe in the area... all basic requirements.The space is odd as it is a converted one stall attached garage with (I assume) the owners living in the house. We didn't hear them much, and hope we didn't bother them either.There were a few small (non) issues... wifi wasn't working when we arrived (but was corrected without us even prompting), some amenities listed were not available (again, a non issue to us) and were corrected as well. I think the hosts were attentive and good with communication.Understand the space is SMALL and someone will need to be comfortable climbing up the ladder to sleep in the loft. Even in April the space never really got comfortable even at night as the small window ac unit doesn't have enough output to keep the space cool. Keep that in mind if you're booking in August and looking forward to a cool nights sleep.

Un petit nid douillet qui peut accueillir 4 personnes car 2 lits mais pas beaucoup d'espace pour 4 personnes pour le reste (salle de bain petite, petit comptoir pour manger,etc)Tres propre, lit confortable. Air Climatisé un peu bruyante et suffit parfois à peine mais on s'y fait. Il ny a pas de bbq comme sur la photo, une surprise oour nous puisque nous avions fait notre épicerie en conséquence. Près de beaucoup de choses tel que dépanneur, épicerie, Walmart et restaurants et pas très loin de la plage. Coin tranquille, stationnement pratique et surtout situé de façon centrale. Fort Lauderdale d'un côté, Miami de l'autre. Le downtown est bien animé et avec des bons restaurants de tous les genres. Nous y avons fait un bon séjour.

The people here are friendly and approachable. There is much pride in ownership here and it shows. We also have two golf courses, the intracoastal and the beach are near. Just plenty to do.

Originally, it was to be my office but I saw the potential.
