Recently refreshed it is a 2 floor layout with A/C thru out the cottage. There are 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, and 3 twin beds), galley kitchen, living room with cable TV, 1 full bath downstairs, 1/2 bath upstairs, washer/dryer, wi-fi, enclosed porch with a patio table, chairs and lounge, and an outside gas grill. There is off street parking for 2 cars. This cottage also shares an outside shower with hot/cold water.

The cottage is just 75 yards from the sandy beach of 7 miles. This means you can easily go back and forth to the beach thru-out the day without picking up your beach stuff each time. The location is far enough away from the noise and traffic of the amusement park/pier area but close enough to walk to.

My family and I fell in love with this area many, years ago. Now, we are rental owners and personally manage this property. Learning from experience of many years of renting, we have taken this knowledge of what we liked and what we needed and incorporated it into our cottage. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. You will be able to start your vacation the minute you walk in with no worries of what you need to clean or forgot to bring.. We take great pride in assuring it is comfortable and is exceptionally clean.

As is the norm with most summer rental units, linens are not provided. Renters are required to bring their own sheets, pillow cases, towels and other personal items they
will need for the beach and other activities. But if you prefer you can rent bed linens and towels for $150/week.

The above amenities along with close proximity to the beach, the Ocean Park area and the amusement park/pier is at a price point that can't be beat.

This property is licensed with the town of Old Orchard Beach and the state of Maine. It meets all local and state regulations and safety guidelines.

OTHER INFORMATION:
The cottage is located at 3 Seaside Ave an address recently assigned by the town of Old Orchard Beach. It was previously listed as 10 Ocean Ave due to the town mapping of it real estate lots. However the entry to the cottage faces Seaside Ave, thus the address change. Google maps has not caught up with the change and will show an incorrect view.

Old Orchard Beach (OOB) is in southern Maine just 36 miles over the state border and just 12 miles from the Portland International Airport (PWM). OOB is a family's playground with a beautiful beach, the only New England beachfront amusement park, free Thursday nite fireworks and numerous outdoor activities to enjoy.

The location of this cottage is central to Ocean Park on one side and the amusement park/pier on the other side. Early morning or early evening walks into Ocean Park is popular activity. Also it is an easy walk to the amusement/pier area without the need to drive and pay the high prices of parking. Easy access and close proximity to the beach allows you to walk back and forth to the beach within minutes.

There is plenty to do beside going to the best beach in Maine, for ex: - golf, fishing, bicycling, scenic walks, minor league baseball, area amusement/water parks and restaurants especially in the Old Port area. Factory outlets just 40 min away in Kittery to the south or Freeport to the north, home to LL Bean. Old Orchard Beach is also a stop on the Amtrack downeaster route from Boston to Brunswick. Great way to get to Boston and catch a baseball game or other activity.
