What awaits you: a historic farmstead featuring a combination of brick and fieldstone buildings, extensively renovated from 1996 to 2000, a former farmhouse converted into a vacation home, 200 square meters of well-maintained grounds, an idyllic private garden belonging to the farmhouse, an outdoor party barn and barbecue area, a meadow, a sculpture collection, and an art gallery. The vacation home is located in a small village in the Uckermark region, surrounded by forests, fields, and lakes. It is particularly well-suited for cyclists, families with children, and nature lovers who want to spend their vacations in the countryside, far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The house has a large courtyard, a garden, and a meadow where sheep and horses graze. There are four bedrooms sleeping a total of seven people, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, two restrooms, and a large yoga room. There are smaller swimming lakes near the village, and two large swimming lakes, each three km away. There is also a swimming pool here.
Fields, lakes, and forests: The small village of Grimme in the northern Uckermark lies secluded among fields, forests, and lakes. This means you have small swimming lakes right nearby in a protected nature area. The larger lakes are about 3 km away and feature various beaches and a public swimming area. Numerous hiking and biking trails are marked.
Places to visit: Prenzlau is particularly worth mentioning, with its magnificent St. Mary’s Church, the Dominican monastery, and its beautiful lakeside on the Uckersee. You can take day trips in all directions: the Randowbruch to the east, Wartin Castle south of the highway to Szczecin, the Hühnengräber near Brüssow, Schloßbrölin to the northeast (which now serves as a cultural institution), and Rothenklempenow to the north, which is already located in Vorpommern.
