Very attractively priced, this superb condo offers fantastic value for money providing, as it does, tremendous resort style amenities, in a secure gated community, with a great location just 2 miles away from Walt Disney World.

Minions Retreat is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom second floor condo in the very under-rated, but equally attractive, Oakwater Resort. With 1015 sq ft of living area to enjoy it provides plenty of room to relax, while the resort amenities provide a host of options for those who are more energetic! 

Located less than a one minute walk from the main clubhouse and pool area, Minions Retreat provides an enjoyable view of the resort amenities which can be viewed from your private patio. As you would expect, this lovely condo also comes extremely well equipped.

Decorated in pastel shades throughout, and thoughtfully furnished too, this condo has much to offer though the real star is the location. This is a very nice condo, compact but with everything you could need but being so close to all the great resort amenities does give it an edge that few can match, and is a major consideration that is hard to ignore. It sleeps 6 people comfortably, though we do prefer to restrict occupancy to 4 to preserve the condition of the home.

The bedrooms consist of one king size master which has full en-suite facilities, and a second room that has a set of bunk beds, with a full on the bottom and a twin on top, which is serviced by the second full bathroom directly opposite. Both bedrooms have cable service and flat screen TV's, with the bunk bed room also having very colorful bedding showing the minions that give the home it's name.

*At this point we should add that all towels and linens are provided for your stay, another great feature offered in your home from home.

Minions Retreat also boasts a compact kitchen, spacious living room and dining area, and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. The main living area features a large flat screen television, perfect for watching a family movie, and with an upgraded cable package too, there are plenty of those available. 

*Please note that the home also has high speed wireless internet access, offered complimentary to all Evergreen guests.

After enjoying a memorable day at the theme parks everyone will surely appreciate the well stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator and freezer, stove, coffee machine, toaster, waste disposal on offer as well as all the hand held appliances you would expect. With all kitchen utensils and crockery provided too, and a dining area with ample seating for 4, everything is there for you to both prepare, and enjoy, a home cooked family meal.

A patio door from the living area leads onto the private patio furnished with a table and chairs. Facing South you can enjoy the sun over the Oakwater clubhouse and pool until well into the early evening, perhaps enjoying a spot of supper as you plan your next family adventure!.

Another thing worth remembering here is that while this condo is on the resort side, it is only a one minute walk away from Oakwater Lake, and the beautiful walking around it. It is a fantastic feature, quite unique for resorts in this area, and one that hundreds of guests have enjoyed as they take a stroll and observe nature and engage their senses.

To the front of the property is the entry way, which leads to a flight of stairs that you would have to negotiate to get to the second floor where the living space is. We mention that in the name of full disclosure as those who have difficulty with stairs may not find this condo a good fit. For everyone else though it is a great option and has many things to recommend it, not least of which is a private one car garage and a driveway to park your car!

Minions Retreat has been incredibly popular over the years and really would be an excellent choice for all the family, from those who want superb resort style amenities, to families just looking to relax. Early check in and late check out may be available for an additional fee if the home allows. Please ask for further details.

* We take a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. If you are planning to stay within the next 30 days then full payment will be due at the time of booking to secure the home.

* Guests are not required to check in at our office in Celebration. You will be going straight to the property on arrival, and using a unique access code to gain entry. Your arrival pack, sent 3-5 days prior to arrival will have all this information, as well as the address, directions, and internet password for the property.

* Like all vacation homes our homes are classed as self catering accommodation. We do provide starter supplies of soap, toilet tissue, shampoo, detergent and dishwasher tablets, but guests are expected to replenish them during their stay.
