We are 'Grapewood Guesthouse'. A very peaceful setting overlooking Wood and Kalamalka lakes.
We are in the middle of vineyard and orchard country; cherry, apple, peach . On site are a Black walnut grove and vineyard . We will gladly take our guests on a guided tour of our grove and vineyard.
Quail and Deer are often seen wandering nearby. Osprey fly overhead with their 'catch of the day'.
Parking is just steps from your door. Level entry. Tile and Hardwood floors. Washer and Dryer available.
This property is suitable for a couple looking for some refreshing time in the country. Spend your day on a private patio overlooking the lakes. Or, if you are a family travelling with Grandma and Grandpa or another couple, space and privacy await you here. You may choose to relax fully by enjoying your meals in the fine local restaurants or make use of the full kitchen amenities provided. We are next door to a homebased bakery/kitchen.
We have 7 acres of property to roam. Enjoy a spectacular view and get a good workout climbing our 'hill', or wander and take in the sights at a leisurely pace.

Fantastic property and hosts! Right beside an excellent bakery, a short walk down to the Rail Trail and friendly hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was clean and well equipped for making all of our meals. A well designed shaded eating area in the back where we spent hours visiting and enjoying meals together, and a small patio off the side facing the lake, great for a morning coffee or enjoying the sunset.

Had a great stay and the place is great for a family vacation with lake close by. They made us feel like guests and the kids really appreciated playing with their dog. Thank you Edward for the tour of the farm. Hope to be back someday.

Ed & Brenda are amazing hosts. We showed up later with no issues checking in. Property is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is fully stocked so easy to cook and prep meals. Bbq was awesome for our steaks. Air conditioning in each room was a real treat when it was 33degrees outside.Great place and great people, thank Ed&Brenda.

Beautiful property and setting

Our family attended a June wedding in Vernon and stayed at Brenda's for 3 nights. The house is very well appointed and has everything needed to make it feel like home. The layout allows for privacy as the two sleeping areas are at either end with the living and kitchen area in the center. The setting is also private with the property set well off the road and the 7 acres as the back yard and a view of the lake from the home and patio.

Easter Weekend

Lovely stay, quiet, beautiful views, large enough for a larger family too. Love that the property is on a vineyard overlooking the lake. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing place with amazing views

We had a great time at Brenda’s place. The house size was perfect for us (family of 5 adults). Lake and mountain views were amazing and the town was only an 8 minute drive. Would most definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

We had a multi-generational group stay while setting up one of our boys at UBCO, and it was the absolutely perfect spot. Incredible views, lovely private outdoor area for hanging out and dining, a cozy house, and super close to beaches and amazing vineyards (AND a fab bakery!). Brenda and Edward were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful orchard retreat

This was the perfect scenic getaway. Everything was spotless and clearly chosen with care and pride. We felt very welcomed. Close to multiple beaches and a bakery and within easy reach of Vernon, Kelowna, Predator Ridge. Sitting by the walnut grove with a first morning coffee, or taking a walk up the country lanes by multiple orchards gave us a real unhurried experience of the Okanagan. Access from vehicle to guest house was without steps and on one level which was great for one of our group . .

Great home-like stay.

My family of 4 stayed here and found the location perfect for us. Everyone was able to have a place to sleep and even have some time apart too. It allowed us to be able to cook our own meals and pretty much act like it was our house. The board games were a great find while there and kept us entertained during our down time. My kids loved the host dog also. She made them smile every day.

Beautiful Property!!

The location was perfect for us as we had a wedding less than 2 minutes away. The property was clean, stunning views and the hosts were lovely!! It was nice to get visits from their dog, Ellie. We were able to sit and entertain family under the pergola and just relax in a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely request staying there again!!

Beautiful Location

This was a lovely property with everything you need. Appreciated the shady location seeing it was very hot when we were there. Close to biking trail and we really enjoyed kayaking on Woods lake. Thanks again for the hospitality Brenda and Edward!

What a Beautiful View

The space is absolutely lovely, very spacious and private. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used it daily. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C was effective and quiet. Best of all we had both the gazebo and terrace with lakeview to utilize. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Perfect vacation stay for family and friends

My sister with 2 nephews (6 and 10 years), my sister's sister-in-law, and her son (12 years) and I had a fabulous stay at Edward and Brenda's guest house! Brenda was very welcoming when we arrived even a little earlier. The property was even better than in the picture, everything was clean and organized for our comfort. Special thanks to Elly - a very beautiful and well-mannered dog that plays with kids a lot! We definitely return to your place once we have a chance! Thanks again! P.S. The location was perfect for our needs (we explored a few parks, wineries, and attractions)

Beautiful lake country home.

Breanda and her husband were very welcoming when we arrived.Upon entering the home everything was clean and organized for our comfort.The view was amazing and in a very peaceful tranquil location that overlooked the lake.They also have a very beautiful,friendly and well mannered dog that you can resist hanging out with. You will not regret your stay here.This was one of the best choices we made when we stayed in Kelowna for our wedding.Better than a hotel I promise! Thanks Breanda!🙂

Wedding in wine country

My friends and I had a fabulous stay. Brenda met us when we arrived and gave us a lay of the land. The accommodations were terrific. The cottage is well laid out with each bedroom and ensuite being on separate sides of the cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed. As we were here for a wedding, clothes had to be ironed and a quick text to Brenda and we had our iron. Brenda's husband Ed gave us an overview of the property when we asked about some of the plants and trees that we could not place, for us city people really interesting. And of course Ellie their pup, the resident greeter, she was an added bonus. We cannot say enough about our experience, great location, quiet, great hosts. Definately will be back.

Walnuts, grapes, cherries and views

In Okanagan for family event, Grapewood Guesthouse was an excellent location. Well equipped and lots of space. Brenda and Ed were super hosts. Enjoyed being in the midst of farms and very intrigued with black walnut grove. Would stay again if we have a chance.
