Garden Vacation w/ Outdoor Living Space and Kitchen, Large Rooms, King Size Beds

Enjoy a peaceful stay at our Garden getaway! Located as the lower unit of a two unit house, with private parking and private entrance in the front of the house. Walk into your open air large kitchen where you can cook on the grill, the smoker, OR the stove. Make coffee in the open air and take it to the sofa swing as you listen to the morning song of the forest. Let the forest sounds lull you into a blissful vacation trance.

This property is in a private neighborhood that is close to the rainforest (about 10 min away) AND the Beach (about 10 min away). It is also only 45 minutes drive to San Juan. *We do recommend having a car at this location for travel freedom.* This property is the lower level of a two story home. The upstairs is also a vacation rental, that has a separate entrance and parking area. It is possible you will hear or meet other guests during your stay.

Both bedrooms are inside with their own lock-able door. Inside each bedroom is a large King size bed, Air Conditioning and a TV for nights when you want to relax and keep cool.

There are two bathrooms, both with a spa like shower. There is a washer and a dryer on the back patio of the house for guests. This is the area shared with other guests, along with the Large side yard next to the house, where you can find, coconuts and parcha (passion fruit) and Avocados when in season.

Relax in the large living room, with comfortable furniture and a dreamy large swinging couch.

Here you will hear the Coqui and different birds and lizards, *don't be surprised if an iguana traipses through the yard. There are also many free roaming chickens and roosters as well as the neighbors own flocks. There are also some sweet neighborhood cats roaming about occasionally. The downstairs is fenced in so it is rare they come into the space.

*The upstairs of the house is a separate unit rented by other travelers

Mary- the rental manager- lives on island and is available for questions should you need her.

Graduation gift

My friends and I took my 18 year old cousin to PR as a graduation present and we could not have stayed at a better location ! The house was wonderful! It was clean and the host responded in a timely manner. Would definitely go back there !

Unique Setting

Mary & Jeff were excellent hosts. Very clean and unique home. The bed was so comfortable and slept well every night. Loved listening to all the nature sounds. Felt very safe staying here. There were people staying in the unit above us but never heard them, very well insulated.

We loved our stay! Perfect getaway tucked away inbetweem La Playa and El Yunque.Instructions are clear abd straightforward if you read ahead. Step by step Instructions clariefed any questions throughout the process. Our only issues was too many keys for two rooms. Other than that everything worked perfectly and we are extremely satisfyied.

Amazing!!

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and did not want to leave! The outdoor space is beautiful and the bedrooms are better in person then the pictures. There were beach chairs and a cooler to use which was so nice when going to the beach (less than 10 minutes away). There is so much in the area but the neighborhood is nice and quiet and feels remote. We will definitely be back!!

Great stay!

Such a unique property! I wish our stay here could have been longer. The pics are mostly accurate; the only difference would be that the kitchen is not as new looking as the pics. The beds & baths were great, very comfy and cold a/c. This place was the only place we stayed that you could drink the tap water!My only warning to other renters - one night we went for a walk around the neighborhood (its gated and overall very nice). Going up the hill a dog came racing down at us, barking & clearly in attack mode. The owner eventually came out saying he didnt bite, but it was pretty scary at the time. I dont want that to sway your reason to book, but just be aware!!

Best of Both Worlds!

We had such a wonderful stay in Luquillo! The property was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the action. We LOVED the outdoor kitchen/living area. I was initially nervous about mosquitos, but they were not an issue. We were able to explore the rainforest and go to the beach during our four day stay - both are equally as close. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby.Mary was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We cannot wait to return to lovely Luquillo!

Pretty good bang for the buck

The rental in a comfortable and quiet access controlled community that is conveniently near the beach and national forest. Great for a family get away. The open area for the kitchen, dining and entertaining is unique and comfortable. I highly recommend contacting the property manager with any questions you have. They are really nice people and were very helpful during our stay. Some really nice surprises came with the stay that were enjoyed by the whole family.

Nature lovers dream

LOVED this place! We only had a reservation for two nights but wished we had spent our whole stay in Puerto Rico here. We love nature and the open living space was incredible. Each evening was spent swinging on the living room swing listening to nature singing to us! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. And it was conveniently located to the rainforest and wonderful beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Will definitely book again when we return to Puerto Rico!

Glamping

If you think of this place as glamping it’s great. If you expect things to work or not have to sweep the floor for millipedes constantly you will be disappointed. Washer dryer and stove did not work. Dish Washer feel forward on me. Slipped on cement ramp and needed stiches. Puddles In Kitchen and first bedroom daily. We bought our own yard spray and used daily and bug rings were not included. Water filter expired. No tv channels work Main bedroom is great, bed great pillows felt 12 yrs old. I like the no walls thing and do not mind occasional cockroaches but the millipedes were a bit much. Need a push broom so you do not squish them. The stools fabric flaking off so we quickly learned to sit on towels on them, and spray the coushions first thing in the am as they attract mosquitos Lots of potential Needs some work

We love this house because of its large rooms, and quiet neighborhood. The space is beautiful, and tranquil. It is perfect for families or friends vacationing.

This property is open to the garden when you are in the kitchen and living space. It has large rooms, both with a king size bed. There is a TV and AC in both bedrooms so everyone has a space to relax alone or be together.
