Bright and Spacious Cape House with Central Air

Recently updated three bedroom and two bathroom contemporary Cape house with central air conditioning. The house is located on a quiet street and a wooded lot.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one full bathroom and a laundry room. In one bedroom there are two twin beds and in the other bedroom there are two full beds with antique wrought iron frames.

On the second floor there is a large open floor plan which contains a great room with gas fireplace, dining area, kitchen, full bathroom and primary bedroom with queen sized bed. There are cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors throughout the upstairs. Through the french doors there is a large deck that contains ample outdoor seating and a Weber gas grill.

This house is located on the ocean side of Rte 6 and is approximately two miles from Marconi Beach, two miles from Wellfleet Center, one mile from the end of the Cape Cod rail trail, one mile from Duck Pond and two miles from Great Pond.

Please note - this is a weekly Sunday to Sunday rental.

Very Happy Week in Wellfleet

Our family totally enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was well maintained and perfect for our family of 4. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable - two full baths and a very well equipped kitchen. The location was ideal for us - near our favorite beaches, close to town, but in a quiet wooded area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family house

Our family group of six adults and one toddler had a great time in this bright comfortable well-appointed house. The common area and deck are open and allow space for everyone to be together and still spread out. The location on the ocean side of rte 6 in Wellfleet is perfect. No need to pay for ocean views when you are minutes away by bike or car from the most beautiful Atlantic coast beaches and fresh water ponds in the world. The bird watching from the deck is excellent. Our host was always responsive with answers to any questions. This was our second stay and we hope to return.

Wellfleet

The cottage is clean and comfortable in an excellent location with easy access to the nearby attractions. Beaches are close by, and Provincetown is a pleasant 20-minute drive. Our hosts, Mike & Melissa, were exceptional and helped us plan our trip.

Delightful 3 generation family vacation

This home exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, cozy, stylish and functional. We loved the enclosed second level deck where our nearly two year old grandson could go in and outdoors through the screen curtain and French doors safely. The common room is spacious and accommodating for us five adults and one child. The location on ocean side of route 6 is ideal. Our hosts provided all info and advice that was needed, and more. The AC was a good option if it had been hot, though we did not need it with good circulation skylights and a big ceiling fan in the main room. Outdoor shower was great and the grounds are interestingly landscaped and natural. We could not fit beach chairs and sun shelter in our car, and they were provided for us. Thank you Mike and Melissa for sharing the Surf Hut with our family. We loved our week in Wellfleet.

Wonderful location, access to beautiful beaches and bike trail

We appreciate so much all the thoughtful touches that the hosts provided in the design of this house and the things they provided - beach gear, laundry facilities, and hammocks to relax in. We comfortably accommodated 8 people (2 families, 2 kids each), with plenty of places for someone to go for quiet alone time (e.g aforementioned hammocks). The house is on a lovely quiet street with easy access to the rail trail by walking/biking. This also gave easy access to beaches on foot or by bike. Another unexpected perk was the proximity of the house to a delicious bakery! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Clean and well equipped beautiful home

Having rented and well fleet for decades, we found this home to be a wonderful resting spot. Very well located, can access much of Wellfleet without getting on Rte 6 through back roads. Well outfitted and thoughtfully decorated. Super clean. Nice deck for outdoor rest or meals. Overall five stars!

Perfect Cape Vacation Home

Everything you need for a week or two or more on the Cape is contained in this comfortable home. The location is quiet, close to beaches and the bike trail too. The hosts are available if you need them but they have thought of everything already. We enjoyed our stay completely.

Clean, bright, modern and peaceful!

Everyone in our party agreed that this is one of the loveliest, most well-maintained homes we've ever rented. We are return renters and it is so lovely to see how well the owners care for the property. It is a very comfortable, clean, bright, modern slice of vacation heaven. The priority vacation items were all there--comfortable beds, shady porch with lounge chairs, great location--but the lower-priority details are provided for as well (even the insides of the kitchen drawers were clean and well-organized!;). Don't hesitate--book it if it's available.

Sparkling clean, perfect location - everything you need on hand; great kitchen for those who love to grab fresh fish and veggies from Hatches. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the cape; watch the Red Sox game in the airy and comforable living room; avoid Rte 6 to access the ocean beaches- discover the alpacha farm down the road, then sleep in a comfy bed! Great Accommodations

Mike and Melissa were perfect hosts. Communication was excellent. The house, location and amenities, surpassed our expectations. In short, they thought of everything and I recommend this home highly, for a visit to the outer cape.

Beautiful, modern house

We felt at home right away in this beautiful, spotlessly clean house. The house is very up-to-date and comfortable. We had plenty of room for our whole family, and we were right near Wellfleet's gorgeous beaches and ponds. Thanks so much!

Perfect Cape House in Wellfleet

Our family loved this place - you walk in and are immediately comfortable. The house is roomy, clean, and absolutely adorable. Casual but eclectic and comfy beach house decor, and everything you need for your stay. Mike & Melissa were very responsive and kind hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We are hoping to come back next year!

Great, cozy house

This house is really great. Fully equipped kitchen with everything that a hobby chef needs. The rooms are big, nicely furnitured and a spacious living and dining room. Great deck with grill. Close too the beach and really quite. Beach chairs and body boards are provided. Owner is very responsive and information provided was really helpful. A great place to stay,

Relaxing, fully-equipped Cape house!

We had a lovely time at this house! The owners were extremely thoughtful by equipping the house with all that you would need from beach chairs and boogie boards for the kids to a big lobster pot we used for a special home cooked lobster meal! They were also responsive and emailed right back when we had questions. We loved the house -- the great open room for living with a deck for meals and grilling and the great outdoor shower after a day of getting sandy at the beach. A perfect and relaxing vacation -- we highly recommend this house.

Thoughtfully appointed

The house was clean and well maintained. Appliances were new. The owners have thoughtfully provided many items that vacationers may forget such as laundry soap, salt and pepper, shampoo etc. We have rented a number of vacation homes and this is the first time we didn't have to start our vacation with a large grocery shopping trip. Cape Cod has a variety of cultural events including theatre and many music venues. We enjoyed Wilson's Tavern and the Wednesday morning Farmer's Market. Wellfleet is a lovely little town. Overall a great home that I would recommend to friends.

Relaxing family getaway

The house was very nice, clean, with updated appliances. The town of Wellfleet is great for families, with quick access to the ocean beaches, bay beaches, and ponds (which are the real gems IMHO); as well as restaurants. House included a grill on a second floor deck which was very useful. Owners were very responsive leading up to and during our stay. If you like baseball and go in season, catch a Cape Cod League game in nearby Orleans - you can't beat the price and you may see one of MLB's future stars. One caveat I would say is if a backyard is a requirement for your rental, then this isn't the place for you. The house is on a decent plot of land but most is typical Cape Code oak/beech/pitch pine mix. Also the TV is a regular tube TV, so don't expect a 56" widescreen wall mounted one. But it is Cape Cod, if you came to watch TV, why go.

Wonderful house for a family

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this spacious and well-appointed house. The natural light in the large living room and the deck with comfortable chairs, shade and sun were the highlights. It was a terrific spot for my husband and I and our two college-age children.

Perfectly Placed

This house and it's location made for a perfect vacation in so many ways! Starting with location: It was super easy to get into town avoiding Rt 6 at busy times by going over to Long Pond Road and enjoying the many cool shops and restaurants without the hassle of traffic. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful part of town, with pretty woods around and frequent sightings of wild turkey and their offspring. Very low traffic enabled the kids (12 yrs old) to be able to ride their bikes on the street, and we all rode down to Great Pond for a swim. Access is very close to the bike trails, and Cahoon Hollow beach was a quick and easy drive. The outside shower and hose by the door kept the sand tracking to a bare minimum, and the kids really loved taking showers outside (pretending they were mermaids). The master bedroom upstairs was spacious and comfy, and the living room, kitchen, and deck on the same floor made for family time and fun. The high speed internet with was great to have too. Downstairs has two more bedrooms, one with two full size beds and lots of space, and one bedroom with twin beds. A large bathroom served these two rooms. Laundry room was great with totally modern and state of the art machines, that were very energy efficient and a great convenience, enabling us to bring a modest amount of clothing. The house has been updated with a funky, cool youthful feel to it. The owners were very fast to respond to any questions we had and were helpful with suggestions to make our stay just perfect! I would highly recommend this house and these hosts, and look forward to staying here again!
