The property was as advertised and had awesome views. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools as well as being right on the beach. Checking in was very easy and the key drop for checking out was great. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks for a great vacation

We had a fantastic stay. The unit was very clean and as described. The VIEW was incredible and worth every penny. The building was older but well maintained. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub since the outdoor one was closed. Recommend this unit to others.

Great family getaway

This is a quiet section of Myrtle Beach- which is what we wanted and close to Murrells Inlet.

Great vacation location

Our rental was clean, comfortable and the view was outstanding. We spent alot of time on the balcony where we could enjoy watching dolphins!

When we opened the door to our condo…all I could say was WOW! The view alone was worth every penny! Very clean and always saw people around cleaning property! Will definitely be back next year! Thx so much!

Great!

The condo was exactly as described and the perfect place for my husband and our 2 teenage boys to enjoy the beach for a few days. The staff was amazing and the condo was exceptionally clean. We will definitely rent again.

Best view

Couldn’t ask for a unit closer to the beach. The property is on the water with a minimal walk to the beach. Beautiful view of the water from the balcony!

Happy with our stay

This was the perfect size condo for me and my teenage daughter. We had plenty of space. Enjoyed the balcony and ocean views so much. Beach was nice and close and easily accessible from building. The parking deck is definitely tight spots. I came with a brand new car so I parked on top where there was less cars every time trying to avoid dings and tight quarters.

Great time

Right on the beach! We thought it would be a headache to be up on the 15th floor but the baggage carts and elevators made everything easy. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools. We enjoyed the salty pickle downstairs, convenient for lunch! Hosts made a pack and play available for my baby and also pointed us in the right direction of beach equipment rentals. Overall great time. Would recommend.

Great condo for a small family!!

I have to admit, I was hesitant to rent a condo for our vacation this year as we usually stay in a house. However, I could not have been happier with the choice to rent this particular condo! The place was extremely clean and well cared for. The views from the front and back are amazing! For our family of 4 (myself, my wife and our 2 boys, ages 11 and 15), this condo was absolutely perfect. My boys loved both pools and my wife and I spent a considerable amount of time on the beach and on the patio catching sun! The kitchen was perfectly equipped, we cooked several meals there and had everything we needed. This place is definitely worth looking at if you’re looking for 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a great view of the ocean! I would definitely rent this condo again.

Vacation

The room was just like the online listing. The beds looked comfortable in the pictures but we found out otherwise very quickly. The couch was comfortable to sit on but the pullout couch was all cardboard and metal springs. We loved the balcony. The beach right outside the resort was amazing besides the umbrella and chairs that were put in between resort guests and the beach even if i got to the beach early before them being setup. My umbrella and chairs would be moved out of the way. It blew my mind they would blatantly move my property without saying anything. I will not go back because of this.

Hi Steven, Thank you for your kind words re: the condo, however, please know we will share your feedback re: the mattresses and pullout couch with the owner. Also, while we are so sorry you had an issue with your beach chairs and umbrellas, that is unfortunately an issue that is out of our control as it lies with the actual rental companies and/or lifeguards. We will be more than happy to share this feedback as well, and so very sorry you have decided not to return. Take care~

It started out nice

We started out fine. The night of day 4 the microwave randomly started turning on and running then beeping every 5 minutes. The display said it needed service. We left a message with the management company the morning of day 5. They promptly sent someone out and we believed it to be fixed when we returned. We were there for no more than 15 minutes before it started again. We again notified the mamagement company. They said they would get back over there. We retuned again to a note that said he had to turn off the breaker and unfortunatly we would not have electric to the hall. We got ready for bed that night and found out it was more than the hall. IT WAS THE ENTIRE MASTER BEDROOM. We also found out it was some outlets in the kitchen. We contacted management again to let them know that and received a response of yes he had to flip the breaker. We then let them know that was a major issue since I use a cpap. We recieved no more contact. It is not ok to ignore someone that has no ability to use a medical device. We wound up leaving early. Putting someones life in jeopardy really did take a lot away from our enjoyment. Ignoring the issue ensures I will not book with them again. If the checked the lock box they will know we pulled out early but I did make sure to text them shortly before 10 per their instructions.

Hey Gerald - we are so sorry that you had issues with the microwave but are a bit confused on the rest of the details here. We went through all of our call logs, voicemails, texts and emails and saw three chats: first was letting us know the microwave was acting up (which we sent maintenance out right away and "thought" the issue was handled). We then received a message the next day that the microwave was acting up again - and we sent maintenance out right away but knew it would not be a problem we "could fix" as the unit was on its last leg. With this being a built-in microwave there was no way to just unplug it, and due to a potential fire risk of leaving it plugged in (while shorting) the best and safest course of action was to turn off the breaker to that appliance until it could be replaced (the next day). Unfortunately this all happened the last night of your stay so the "next day" was too late for you. Our maintenance team left a note stating the breaker had been turned off for safety reasons but did not specify what all that breaker went to, so we also apologize for that. We would have been more than happy to bring you an extension cord for you cpac machine had we known that was an issue - however this review was the first place we were notified of this issue?!? The third and final message we received from you was letting us know that you were leaving/checking-out. I promise you we did not ignore any issue that you presented - we responded to the microwave issue by attempting to fix it, then having to cut power for safety purposes. When you let us know there was no power in those areas we replied back promptly about the note the maintenance team left and explaining the microwave could not be fixed, only replaced. We did not get a reply back (about cpap machine or anything else). While we cannot promise there will never be an issue arise during your stay, our team prides itself on their attention to detail and reaction time when a call/text does come in. Any issue we are made aware of during your stay we move on immediately and attempt to remediate as quickly as possible.

Simply Wonderful!

We have had a nice and relaxing stay. The condo is very tastefully decorated. Great colors soothing and was very clean!!! All the essentials everything we needed. Only identified two minor items . Needs a rubber catch on rear door stopper, and outside handle on sliding door should be replaced. Very minor everything else was great … highly recommend!!!!

Will never stay at the Royal Garden again

Our main complaint was that 2 of the 3 elevators were always broken. Every time there was a strong wind, they'd shut down. There were high winds most days since we were right on the beach. We were on the 15th floor & had to hike up & down 15 flights of stairs. Other days we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the one elevator that was servicing 16 floors. The residents told us that it was an ongoing issue. Also, the cold winds (39 degrees) blew in through the big space between the door & the casing. We had to stuff towels in the gap to stop the cold.

Our stay

The only complaints is elevator wasn't working the first day and my 17 month found and drank a old sippy cup of milk that was in cabinet of master bathroom.

Nice & Clean condo on the beach

Place just as described! Nice comfy beds and fully stock kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, etc. We were also surprised to find 2 beach chairs in our closet. The Salty Pickle bar downstairs is under new management. Great food and better company. The building is going through some renovations and is not great to look at but you are there for the beach right?! Keep in mind that you have to pick up/drop of the keys at a different location. Lastly, make sure you bring extra toilet paper (if you rent for more than 2 days) and coffee filters.
