Updated Ski in/Ski Out Studio - Great Views - Deck - Affordable

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the Six Pack lift. Our 500 SF studio condo (Unit 526) is located on the 5th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible. The views of the Needles mountain range from the private balcony are amazing.

There is also a wood-burning fireplace (firewood is provided) as well as free high-speed wireless internet and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pots/pans etc., dishwasher and a washer/dryer are located in the unit.

Double pull out sofa (more then 1 adult is not recommended for the pull out sofa).

There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lot. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) on the ground floor.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

4th of July getaway

This is our 3rd time staying up in Purgatory! We love it up here. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Check in was so easy and convenient on the app and any questions I had were quickly answered. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location and cozy condo

The studio condo is great for 2 people; it was cozy and comfortable, with a wood burning fireplace. The bed was comfy and water pressure was awesome and hot (especially nice after a day skiing!). The location is fantastic! Ski lifts are right outside, and Purgatory Village with food and shops is within a few minutes walk. The host was very responsive when I had a few questions and when I requested an extra blanket. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back to ski Purgatory.

Excellent access to hiking. Perfect studio condo for one. Would work for two also. I cooked all my meals there. Everything I needed to cook was on hand. Beautiful view of the West Needles. Loved the covered parking - I arrived ā€˜homeā€™ a couple times in a deluge. Lots of disposable supplies on hand. Two week stay. First week - great internet. Second week - the internet was sketchy but would work okay after a reboot. Excellent condo. Loved my time there. Didnā€™t want to leave.

We had an issue accessing the hot tub but with a couple phone calls, got it sorted. The ONLY issue was management at Eolus coming in our unit several times unannounced. They were working on the fire alarms and just walked in to work on them - the first time I had just gotten out of the shower and it was quite a surprise. Apparently the owners were notified this would be happening and it would have been no problem for us to deal with had we known. I would suggest using the chain on the door because they are able to unlock and enter otherwise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the views were incredible! The room was cozy and very well maintained. It was welcoming and clean. We loved that there was a washer and dryer in the condo. The refrigerator was small and needed defrosting. We almost got our truck booted since there was no parking pass in the room and per instructions we didn't need one. We did place a hand written pass in the window per one set of instructions. This part was unclear. The parking attendant was also wondering about the policy. Needed storage was lost to many cleaning supplies. Unfortunately the pool was closed and covered. We would have liked to have been able to soak at a later hour. Maybe operating hours could be until 10 pm?

Unclean, bad wifi

The room was not very clean upon check in, dusty, didnā€™t feel comfortable in bare feet/socks. Wi-Fi was not conducive to working, it would cut out often for a few minutes in the middle of calls. The door was also hard to open upon arrival, taking about five minutes to figure out how to open

Ski in and out

Great location with amazing views of the main lift . Nice place, had everything we needed for our family of 4, kitchenette, mini fridge, air fryer and 2 burner stove w Kettle. Bed was comfortable. Fireplace with wood available. Nicely updated bath. Internet and wifi very slow and lagging (for those who would need it for work purposes) Would've liked to have more hooks/ hangers to place all of our ski coats, pants, helmets, etc, and a big dresser to store all our other cloths. The closet had a few hangers and small shelves and our cloths had to remain in our bags. Not a deal breaker, but would've made this studio perfect otherwise.
