Beautiful 2-bedroom Garden Suite located in the heart of Laurelhurst - one block from Lake Washington, two blocks from Children's Hospital, in one of Seattle's most prestigious city neighborhoods. If you're looking for upscale location, location, location - this it. Just 15 minutes walk from the University Link station, with a bus stop at the end of the block , it's the perfect sanctuary to explore Seattle from - a quiet, friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets and beautifully landscaped yards. Ten minutes to downtown Seattle by car and just a short walk to the University of Washington, Children's Hospital and University Hospital, local parks, great restaurants and shops, Urban Horticultural Center, Nature Preserve, Burke Gilman Trail, museums, theater and more.

The suite is located on the ground floor of a 1925 historic home. Includes a brand-new, full-size and well-appointed gourmet kitchen with all new appliances (gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge). Light-filled open floorplan living area with 10-ft high ceileings, beautiful woodwork, custom tile gas fireplace, oriental rug, tile floors and french doors that open to a small patio in a private, english-style garden. Suite includes one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, crisp linens, down comforters and pillows and roomy closet - another smaller bedroom with a full-sized bed that sleeps two, and a small but lovely bath with custom tile shower. Also includes laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and utility sink.

Wonderful Visit!

We have stayed at this property several times and always enjoy the lovely accommodations and especially the garden in full view of the living area. The property is in a beautiful neighborhood adjacent to the University of Washington and provides easy access to the U District and many charming Seattle neighborhoods.

Close to Univ of Wa and we visited our grandson who plays soccer. Nice neighborhood and accommodations. The owner lives unstairs but we had full access to a beautiful backyard.

Lovely Laurelhurst stay

Charming, well-located in-law apartment in a pleasant neighborhood near University Village. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. I problem with on-street parking. Host was responsive, available, and very accommodating. Excellent stay.

Great location and hassle free

Comfortable place to stay for 3 adults. Very peaceful. Parking was never an issue. The area was a great location for us who attended a game at Husky stadium (within walking distance), spent a day traveling north, went to Ballard and Fremont district and downtown Seattle. No complaints at all. Check in and check out was easy

Shangrila in Seattle

If you're looking for a relaxing abode in a great location, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every amenity, there are undoubtedly other places which might also fill the bill--but there is NO OTHER like this! The gardens and bonsai trees are glorious rain or shine. The host has thought of everything to make your stay calm and relaxing. It is a beautiful, exceptional spot and it is now our first choice whenever we're in Seattle.

Noisy but nice

Great place but live in dogs bark quite a bit and owner/host lives upstairs full time and hosted a dinner party on the Saturday night during our stay. It was pretty loud and didnā€™t quiet down until late given we had a 7yr old with us.

Delightful, comfortable, perfect

Lovely, spacious apartment in a beautiful home, in one of Seattleā€™s nicest neighborhood communities. We stayed here for about two months while our home was being renovated, and we were quite comfortable. The hostess/owner is terrific and has thoughtfully provided everything you might need. Enjoy a new kitchen, two bedrooms, nice bath, laundry, and plenty of places to store your things. Beautiful garden! And a super sweet little dog that we miss already. Weā€™d gladly stay here again.

Happiness in Seattle

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this wonderful Garden Suite. It felt like we found a diamond in the rough. The neighborhood is beautiful, clean and quiet. With or without a car, you can enjoy this location.Within minutes I was riding on the Burke Gilman Bike trail which will takes you several miles in either direction. The bus and the light rail are nearby so you can literally go anywhere. The host was extremely polite and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this rental.

The location is perfect, near stores/restaurants, parks, and a short drive to downtown Seattle. Parking is on the street, but it is a safe neighborhood. The place has all you can need for a stay away from home, and the beds are comfortable.

Good stay during our remodel

It was a very nice property. quaint, good beds and your own laundry. Back yard garden is nice, but poor Seattle spring meant we didn't get to use it as much as we'd have liked.

Beautiful area

The experience was one of the best. Location is set in one of most beautiful neighborhoods in Seattle. The house it self had all the amenities needed. Very well decorated and the gardens were just a bonus. Our host greeted us when we arrived and we felt welcomed.

This property is cozy and beautifully done. The week we stayed was a warm weather one for Seattle and the lack of A/C was a nuisance but not a deal breaker. It would be perfect in cooler seasons.

Wonderful experience

My parents stayed at this property for a prolonged visit but I was there frequently. The location is great, they were able to take walks around the beautiful quiet neighborhood and walk to the supermarket. The property is exactly as pictured, looks brand new and very clean, with all the amenities you could need. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and responsive, but was not at all intrusive. A few minor issues that came up were resolved quickly. I would not hesitate to book the property again, they had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, serene spot

We stayed at this beautiful, serene, lovely spot for a week. The garden is why we booked it and it's why the stay was over the top good. Victoria was a superb host, answered questions, gave us extra supplies and was just lovely. The neighborhood is safe, has parking and is gorgeous. We could not have asked for more. Quiet and tranquil setting

We were in Seattle to visit our daughter at University of Washington. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the campus. We loved the setting of the unit in a beautiful garden with outdoor area you can use. the unit is perfect - everything you need to cook meals and relax. Victoria was friendly and had restaurant suggestions we enjoyed. We will definitely rent again when we come to visit.

So lovely and comfortable

Everything was perfect except for a small issue with the TV remote and pump or something running some nights. Also ice maker wasnā€™t working but Victoria immediately got us ice. The garden are is super even if the weather is not conducive for the fire pit. The location is excellent for UW

Tranquil Retreat in a Beautiful Neighborhood

This property was a much needed tranquil retreat. The botanical gardens is an easy walk from the property. It is also a beautiful and safe neighborhood to take a walk in the morning as we did. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to family emergency, but we would stay here again. Thank you for the peaceful property to enjoy our stay.
