Beautiful villa in Reykjavik Capital area (free parking on premises), by the seaside, with great ocean view and wonderful walking area along the sea. Only a quick 5-10 min drive to Reykjavík city center. Kitchen, dining and living room area with a fireplace, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with a shower, also a guest bathroom, TV room with 75” smart TV. In the backyard is a lovely hot tub. Close by is the famous Sky Lagoon (20 min walk) and also nearby is one of the best heated outdoor/indoor swimming pool with sauna (10 min walk).

Location is Everything:

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place with a beautiful sea view, in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Reykjavik city center.

The house is very well distributed. It has three bedrooms, all on the same floor. The Master bedroom has a 2x 90x200 cm (2x 35,5x80 inches) size bed, the second one has a 180x200 cm (71x80 inches) size bed. The third one has a European double size bed 140x200 cm (55,12x80 inches). We also have one foldable guest bed (suitable for 1 adult), a toddler travel bed and a Tripp Trapp baby chair. The kitchen is fully equipped and has induction cooktop. The Laundry room has both a washer and a dryer. The living room has a fire place and a sliding door out to the terrace with a scenic view.

And you can unwind in the hot tub in the backyard after an eventful day. Licence number HG-00019136

We enjoyed our stay at this great place. Perfect choice close to city center but in a peaceful waterfront neighborhood … had all the comforts you could need for your stay I bear the capital.

Great place to stay in Iceland

Excellent place to stay. Great location and had all the amenities you would need. Very close to city center. We would highly recommend for your visit to Iceland.

Nice stay

We were three friends who enjoy hiking and who are foodies. It was a nice place outside Reykjavik to head to different areas for day hikes and then heading in to the city for some great food. The house was very comfortable for 3 people.

Absolutely Beautiful Home

We just spent 10 days in Iceland and stayed in this beautiful home! It was so perfect for our family of 5. The home is in a great neighborhood close to everything we needed. It was incredibly clean, comfortable beds and a breathtaking view of the water from the deck and living room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck each evening or relaxing in the hot tub. The hosts were super prompt in replying to any messages we sent and so helpful, even leaving us an item we requested in advance. If you are looking for a space to rejuvenate your soul and spend time with your family in wonderful Iceland, please stay here!!

Lovely villa with ocean views

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful villa with beautiful ocean views. It is conveniently located, just 10-15 minutes from downtown Reykjavik and easy highway access for day trips to other popular sites in Iceland. Perfect for our family of four. Excellent communication with the owner.

Suunabraut near Sky Lagoon

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, cozy home. It is a 13 minute drive to downtown Reykjavik. The Sky Lagoon is a 20 minute walk; must do whether you take the walk or the short drive. This lagoon spa is tranquil, clean, relaxing, with great views. Grateful for the accommodations.

Reykjavik Comfort

Aldis and John's home is so very cozy and warm, situated in a quiet Reykjavik neighborhood close to everything you need. Whether it was chilling out on the front patio, relaxing with a lovely view of the ocean, or soaking our bones in the hot tub after a long day of hiking, this home felt like, well, home...A 5 minute walk to the Sky Lagoon and a 10 minute drive to the Reykjavik city center checks all of the boxes for a great introduction to Iceland. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect for our Family

Our family had the most amazing Iceland vacation staying here. I highly recommend the host's home. The entire stay was frictionless. The directions to the house were spot on and the entry instructions were super easy. They were very laid back, responsive, and helpful in all communications. Their home is beautiful and clean. It was very warm and welcoming after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was modern and enjoyable to use. We cooked most breakfasts & dinners there. We did go out a few nights and the house was just a short 10 minute drive to downtown Reykjavik. We were making that trip into town without google maps pretty quickly. The views from the living room across the water were amazing. We even tried out the hot tub - again all instructions super easy to follow. It was absolutely perfect for our family.

My Family's First Visit to Iceland

The online photos of this villa that we saw before booking were amazing. When we checked in on Monday, August 19, 2024, we were very excited and impressed with the house, the amenities inside of the house, and the lovely neighborhood that is located only a few miles outside of Reykjavik. Our hosts, Aldis and John were wonderful and helpful. They were very responsive to our emails and also provided us with a phone number to call if we needed to contact them. The house is located within a short driving distance to the sights we had added to our list to see. The hosts even arranged for a volcano to light up the evening sky for a unique experience! Out of a rating of 10, I would give Aldis and John a 12! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with my family.

Great home near the city center!

We were fortunate enough to spend a week at this gorgeous home with wonderful views and amenities. There was enough space for us 5 and we could have easily fit 8 in there. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped. The washer and dryer were good to have on site in the laundry room behind a closed door. So that we would not hear them run at night. The hot tub in the back yard was a nice little retreat after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. The path in front of the home was a calming way to start the day by the bay water. The bedrooms in the home were perfect size and the living room and dinning room areas were even better than the pictures. The over all 10-12 minute proximity to the city center gave us a lot of opportunity to check out local restaurants and enjoy the city life in the evenings and mornings. The grocery store and pharmacy is only about 5-7 minutes away from the home, so getting groceries for the night in was not an issue. The home is also very sturdy and withstood some really strong winds during our stay. There was good driveway space to park 2-3 cars (even though we only had 1 car). There are also local parks near by the home so walking to a playground with the kids is easy and super quick . The neighborhood is safe and we felt right at home.
