Ierapetra is special because it is the "Sunniest City in Europe"—the southernmost town facing the African coast. We enjoy a unique dry microclimate where you can swim well into October!
I chose the Livadia neighborhood specifically for its Balance:
It is Quiet: You are surrounded by olive groves and silence, away from the noise of scooters and traffic.
It is Connected: You are just a 7-minute walk to the beach and a 20-minute flat walk (or 3-minute drive) to the vibrant Old Town, the Fortress of Kales, and the endless "Waikiki" style beach bars.
It is the only place where you can enjoy a "Peaceful Country Setting" while being minutes away from the energy of the city center.
