Your private apartment is set within a gorgeous, beautifully-appointed 1917 Craftsman Bungalow in the premiere walking district of Seattle - theaters, restaurants, shopping and more shopping, parks and trails for walking and biking; close to bus lines to downtown Seattle, the Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Center and the Sound Transit trains; near the tulip fields and ferries to the San Juan Islands and historic areas north of Seattle; Mt. Rainier and Mount St. Helens are a day-trip; quiet, residential neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Relax on the outside patio for some quiet time, enjoy a short walk to one of the neighborhood theaters or restaurants (sushi, Italian, Japanese, Thai, vegetarian, fusion, pizza, etc., etc.). There's nothing you'll need that you can't find in Wallingford. The apartment is large and gracious with opening garden windows which are visible to the right of the front door in the picture.

We have stayed at Garnett’s Place several times in both of her units. Can’t decide which I like better. They both are charming, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. And the neighborhood is the best. Thanks again Garnett.

Garnett is a gracious host with a lovely home. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything to cook a meal, and peaceful neighborhood. Her front yard is a beautiful relaxing oasis and her home is convenient to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores.Will definitely stay again!

Best Stay!

This property was just enough space for my fiancé and I. Our trip in Seattle was busy, but this apartment really allowed us to decompress after a whirlwind of excitement. Coming from the South we were a little nervous about PNW hospitality, but Garnett made us feel right at home. I love this place. Definitely will be back in the future

Wallingford Gem!

I stayed here while working in Seattle. What a treat! The darling cottage was clean, well equipped and the perfect to environment to relax and unwind. What a perfect home away from home

I needed an in-city retreat, just a little break from my own home and stresses. I LOVE this spot. I felt like I was staying at a friend's place, but had the privacy and my own kitchen.The apartment is beautifully lit and colored. It's thoughtfully decorated -- love the art and the books next to the bed, which are perfect for reading before sleep. A lovely garden view in both the front and back -- I hope I can return sometime in the spring. The kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you'll need. The shower stall is a little small, but given everything else in the place, it's easy to withstand. So many vacation homes feel cold and soulless. Garnett's place is the exact opposite.

I bought my house in 1987. Once I toured this neighborhood, I knew it was for me. The mother-in-law apartment was part of the house when I moved in - and has provided opportunity for 'sharing the wealth' all these years.
