Nice Weather
First off, I liked the location. I came down to play golf and the courses were just under 2 miles away. Easy to get to. Lake Havasu City is just noisy, ORVs with little in the of mufflers are everywhere. The street location is a main arterial so the noise even drowned out the tv at times. This is not the hosts fault but the noise abatement built into the house was lacking. When we arrived there were only 6 towels doable but we needed to do laundry much more often. No wash cloths and when I contacted the host, she indicated they did not have these. I bought some because I use them in the shower. The kitchen pots and pans were sparse and we had to buy a can opener that actually could open a can. We left it at the property. Being so close to the Pacific time zone meant my watch and phone sometimes switched time zones. Not the hosts fault but there were no clocks other than the oven clocks, so if I had an early tee time I had to get out of bed and walk to the kitchen to assure I was on time. The cutting knives were very dull and almost unusable. There was no outdoor BBQ. Every other VRBO I stayed in has had these and a nice cookout with the nice weather would have been nice. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. So it sounds like I am bashing the property, not even close. I am just trying to prepare the next guests of what to expect and maybe prepare a bit more. The property allowed pets and out dog liked the view of all the school kids. Would stay here again.
