Ananta Dome

Hi, we are Andy and Mary. We love nature, travel, yoga and creating unique experiences for the people who visit us. We love hosting. Creating memorable and welcoming spaces is definitely one of the things we enjoy the most.
Mary studied architecture and Andy Mechanical engineering, now in our thirties we have decided to use our skills to bring this project to life.

Mary was born and raised in Monteverde. She went to college in San Jose where she met Andy. After graduating from University, we traveled the world and accomplished one of our big dreams by becoming Classical Hatha Yoga Teachers in India after taking a 6 month training. Now we return to these beautiful mountains of Monteverde where we live, work and continue dreaming and growing.

We have built and designed this space ourselves from scratch with a lot of love, and now we want to share the beauty, harmony and peace of this place with people from all over the world.

Our neighborhood is full of magnificent views, green and calmness. This is a convenient spot for the proximity to most of the touristic parks (ziplines, hanging bridges, hikes and trailing). In average just a 5-10 minutes drive or 20 minutes nice walk.
We are also only 5 minutes away from Santa Elena downtown where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, souvenirs and shops.

Our glamping dome is located up in the mountains of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. This spacious 45m2 (485 sq ft) dome is located in the same property as our home but with all the privacy and beauty that you need to spend a memorable vacation.

The dome is furnished with two king size beds: one on the first level with a panoramic view and the other one up in our loft (We will let you decide who sleeps where! We promise both our equally beautiful and comfortable). The space has been designed to fit 4 persons. However, if space and privacy is important to you, 2 persons might be the best option.

Inside the kitchen you will find silverware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups and all you might need to prepare your meals. The kitchen also has a refrigerator with a freezer incorporated, electric stove, hot water kettle and other important appliances. Please note we currently do not have a microwave or oven, so any food heating might need to be done the fun and slower way using the stove.

The bathroom! Oh the bathroom! You will never guess this bathroom can exist inside a glamping dome. You will find a big and spacious space with beautiful lighting that you will just love.

In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: A blow dryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, paper towels and also to add to your experience we have for you bathrobes for the hot tub and blankets and outdoor pillows the outdoor loft net.

In the deck you will find under the pergola a hot tub with beautiful views of the gulf and town (or just an amazing dance of clouds depending of the weather). In addition to that there is a loft net, perfect to chill and enjoy the sunset or night sky.

The hammock garden is located underneath the dome, another nice outdoor area to enjoy and relax.

We have put so much love and intention to our dome that you will love it and will wish you could stay a little more!
