As this suite is upstairs in our home, there are 18 stairs to climb.

Room for 4 persons, but please CONFIRM HOW MANY.

We have a 6 night minimum when booking.

We are NOT equipped for children under 3 years of age. We do not supply any baby/toddler equipment in this vacation rental.

You have your own entrance and doorbell.
There is a gas fireplace in the great room and lots of comfortable seating. There is a 70" Smart TV in the great room with NETFLIX and SURROUND SOUND.
If you rent a movie on SHAW ON DEMAND please pay us. Thanks.
Dining room has room for 6 persons at the table and a bar with 2 bar stools.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
Washer and dryer and your own hot water tank.
Bedroom #1 - King size bed, beautiful lighting, Smart TV, Netflix, and dresser in closet.
Bedroom #2 - Queen size bed, beautiful lighting, and Smart TV (Netflix only)
Bathroom has a large skylight and bathtub with shower.
Vacuum, iron, ironing board, all linens supplied.

OUTSIDE
Private area in the backyard, with small barbecue on request. There is a picnic table and extra chairs for your use. Smoking is allowed out front, but not in the backyard. Thank you from our neighbors.
Also a new patio out front with lots of room in the sun.

- 0.5 km LEFT to the Gorge Waterway walkway
- 0.5 k RIGHT to the walking trails in Cuthbert Holmes Park,
- running/biking - turn RIGHT down the hill, through the beautiful forest to the Galloping Goose Trail, which goes on from Sidney to Victoria and out to Westshore and on to Jordan River. The path also leads to the Tillicum Shopping Centre.
- 5k to Victoria General Hospital,
- 10k to Royal Jubilee Hospital,
- 7k to beautiful Beacon Hill Park,
- movie theatre, skating rink, public library, shopping mall, Starbucks, Government Liquor Store, private liquor store, all within a short walking distance through the forest or down the street;

If you like, you can catch a city bus around the corner (#11) to take you to beautiful downtown Victoria ,
- 2 blocks to bus line (#26). To get a bus to Esquimalt, get on the bus on this side of Tillicum Road. Please cross Tillicum and get the bus on the other side to go to UVIC.

Spacious and well-equipped; great hosts

The apartment was as described and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us. John and Pam are wonderful hosts that did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

Amazing place to stay in Victoria

This was an amazing rental to stay in! The hosts were kind, generous, and very informative about the apartment and surrounding area amenities. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with multiple recliners and couches. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could need. Walking distance from a shopping centre and beautiful walking areas, and steps away from local bus routes, it was an extremely convenient home base for visiting Victoria.

An incredible experience

I think that I found the best possible place for my family. The location is really good, it is a quiet neighborhood, the suit is perfect, you have everything you need, and above all, Pam and John really made us feel like home! They are very nice, communicative, and helpful! It is a place I would definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay in Victoria visiting family. We found the accommodation to be exactly as advertised. Very comfortable with everything you need provided. The unit was clean and quiet. Also loved the proximity to the Gorge, we enjoyed many walks along the water. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Pam and John.

A Home away From Home

This VRBO was the perfect place for us to spend a week as we were transitioning from one home to another. It was spacious clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen had all quality appliances and the beds were excellent. We also appreciated the lovely outdoor area in the backyard where we could relax on these warm days. Highly recommend.

Summer week vacation

The unit was as advertised. Owner met us upon arrival. We were able to store our ebikes in the garage. The bed was super comfortable (I want that mattress at home!)

Perfect Victoria Accommodation

From the moment we chose this property to the moment we left, this was a perfect experience for us. Pam and John were very hospitable. The accommodations were spacious, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Felt like home immediately. We had our 2 granddaughters staying with us, and there was a park and hiking trails a stone’s throw away. It was central but tucked away on a quiet street. Everything we had hoped for. We will return! Thank you, Pam & John!

Pleasant stay

The four of us (parents and two young adult daughters) had a wonderful time in the apartment integrated in the owners' home: it is a bright spacious place on the second floor, with a living room and two bedrooms with nice views, equipped with all the amenities we needed; very clean and organized. The neighborhood is also beautiful (one can walk along the Tillicum Gorge) and not far from downtown Victoria (if one has a car). We also enjoyed very much the nice conversations with and hospitality of our hosts Pam and John. It would be great if we could come back in the future!

It was absolutely Pleasant, Comfortable and Enjoyable place to stay. Very specious, well equipped, very clean.. I wish my house is like this. Walking distance to two shopping malls for anything you need for your stay. Cooked more than a few things during my stay (did not want to eat-out every time). Quiet and beautiful area with a park nearby (which I went for jogging almost every day). Pam and John are very friendly and fun to talk to. I will not look for any other places to stay when go back to Victoria. Thank you, Pam and John.

Our stay was great, the place is new and clean.

This was a great place for my family and I to stay. For our 3 week stay in Victoria, Pam and John were so welcoming, helpful and their hospitality was wonderful. We appreciated all the extras that were provided upon our arrival. The place provided lots of room for me and my family and especially for my 5 year old son. I would have to say because of the hot weather that the best part was the AC (we didn’t get to use the fireplace), although the big screen TV, ice maker, and filtered water were also very good to have. The place is near a playground, walking trail, shopping mall, grocery stores and buses. Being near the Gorge waterway was nice for evening walks. Overall our stay was made more comfortable thanks to the helpful tips regarding local buses, businesses and swimming pools from Pam and John. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again if the situation arose.

Outstanding stay for our transition to the Island

We moved to Victoria from Edmonton and needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks until we got possession of our house. We selected Pam and John's place based on what we saw in the pictures and read in the reviews. Their place did not disappoint. The unit has an abundance of space for our 5 member family and everything was clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the items you would need and there are plenty of linens and towels. The TV's were big screen with a full assortment of channels and the kids were pleased with the wifi access. Anything you needed was essentially provided - they have really thought out their guests experience. The area is very walkable and quite pretty. As well, as I needed to work downtown during my stay, it was a quick 10 minute drive either way. Made for a nice commute. We highly recommend Pam and John's suite for your travelling needs!
