The house sits on a large property, the last in town, surrounded by natural park on two sides and overlooking the sea. It is carved out of a cliff and has multiple terraces and gardens on many levels, as well as an infinity pool perched above the sea below..It has spectacular views both looking back to Cadaques and out to sea. Despite its natural setting and privacy, it is only a 20 minute walk to the center of town. All modern conveniences available.

Stunningly beautiful!

I was looking for a home to rent between Provence and Barcelona and stumbled upon this gem. The views of the Mediterranean are spectacular. The outdoor terraces are splendid as is the outdoor shower. The town of Cadaques cannot be missed. As a previous guest mentioned in the guestbook; peace lives here.

Lovely, lovely stay: July 2025

Probably our last holiday as a family of five as the kids are getting older. This place was ideal for us. From the communication with Scott and the welcome from the housekeeper on arrival all was perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, it was a home from home (if we had views of the Med). The pool was a godsend, all our walks ended up there, even when we'd just been to the beach! Thanks to you Scott & Carla

La magie du lieu a operé

On ouvre la porte et on est emporté dans un lieu propice à la détente et la rêverie. La maison est idyllique, l hôte à été extrêmement gentil et rapide dans ses réponses, accueil parfait. Tout est pensé pour que les vacances commencent une fois la porte ouverte… il manquait juste une cafetière nespresso… encore merci.

Fabulous house in a stunning location

We enjoyed a great break in this amazing place. Cadaques is beautiful and has something for everyone. The house is well equipped and so cool - lots of places to relax and take in the amazing views. A luxury home from home!

Great stay for the second time!

We spent the second time in SKYeMAR and - as expected - had a wonderful time there. Especially in times of the Pandemic we were lucky to have such a big and well-equipped house and a garden with many beautiful sitting and relaxing areas. So, we would certainly love to come back a third time. Thank you Scott for letting us your great home in Cadaqués this summer!

Het was een fantastische maar toch wat gevaarlijke locatie. Niet geschikt voor oudere mensen. Het uitzicht was uniek, het zwembad super mooi maar voor mezelf te klein. Gewoon om dagelijks half uur baantjes te zwemmen. De grootte was ook niet echt te zien of vermeld op de site. Gelukkig hadden we onze elektrische fietsen mee want zou niet te doen geweest zijn om dagelijks met de auto naar beneden te rijden... te steil, te smal, geen parking. Het interieur van het huis, het super uitzicht heeft ons verblijf wel meer dan zalig gemaakt dus... top! Liefs, Carine&Peter

Gorgeous and well accommodated home

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our week in Cadaques, and Skyemar was the perfect home base. I really would have been content just relaxing at the house all day, taking in the beautiful scenery. It’s very private but also easy to get to town and various beaches on foot or via bike or motor scooter (we rented a couple in town). The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and great storage space, the kitchen is well stocked, and everything was perfectly clean and ready for us upon arrival. We would definitely love to stay at Skyemar again on a future visit!

Skyemar & Cadaques...spectacular

I’ll confirm all the previous reviews..the pictures do not do the view justice! You’ll have a hard time leaving Scott’s house and when you do..Cadaques is a short walk away- great people, restaraunts and bars..hiking abounds..all right out the front door. Fantastic vacation and we will return as much as we can to skyemar and the Costa Brava.

Magnicifent view

We spent a week in this wonderful home with our two daughters (13, 15). We all were really impressed by the house, the beautiful scenery, the silence of the place and the magnificent view over the harbour and skyline of the small town Cadaqués. It is an easy stroll to town and towards the beaches nearby. Our daughters had a lot of fun swimming and snorkling there. Not to forget the numerous little bars and restaurants of Cadaqués. We would really like to thank Scott and his family for a great time there. Moreover we have to thank Joana who received us in Cadaques and helped us a lot regarding all kind personal questions and gave us so many useful information about the place and current events. We would really love to come back!

Beautiful property with spectacular views, among the best on the Mediterranean.

Both the property and the town are very special. The property's views are unparalleled, a small infinity pool only accentuates the views and several small gardens offer quiet corners to read a good book or contemplate the surroundings, The town is unique among offerings on the Spanish coast, located at the tip of a peninsula designated a "parc natural", with mountains tumbling down to a sea of transparent water, an old town dating back 500 years, more than 100 restaurants and bars, and a favorite haunt for artists from the time of the impressionists. Nothing like it.

a wonderful retreat

Cadaques is a beautiful little spot with its lovely coves and boat harbors. We never tire of exploring it yet always look forward to coming home to Skyemar to sit and relax on the terrace and just gape at the magnificent views. Totally unique and very special

The photos, as beautiful as they are, can not begin to capture the extraordinary views and special character of this house. We spent hours sitting on the terrace overlooking the infinity pool taking in the panorama of the scene before us - back to the town of Cadaques or out beyond the mouth of Cadaques bay to the open sea. Monitoring the comings and goings of the boat traffic in and out of the bay - not to mention the wind surfs racing across the mouth of the bay whenever the tramuntana wind picked up - was totally mesmerizing. Immediately below the house - cut out of the side of a cliff - are the transparent waters of the Mediterranean, where you can swim and snorkel. For a change of scene and and a moment of privacy, there are tables and chairs tucked away in different corners of the beautiful gardens. It is difficult to leave the comfort and beauty of the house, Skyemar, but when we did, there were many choices. Top of the list was a regular walk along cliff's edge of a couple of miles to the Cala Nans lighthouse. It was also just a 5 minute walk down the hill to the local beach , where we swam every morning. We regularly made the comfortable 20 minutes walk to the center of town to eat in one of the scores of delicious restaurants, have a coffee or beer in a cafe by the water or do a little shopping in the old town. Across the bay on the horizon we could see the Cap de Creus lighthouse, whose beam streamed into the house at night - it marks the eastern most point of Spain, is located on a desolate but beautiful lunar landscape and is definitely worth a visit. In sum, a real treat we didn't want to end. We could not recommend it more highly.

Simply Wow!

Everything was perfect: the house, the location, the village. What a week, it was great. This house le simply perfect by itself and to enjoy everything around, get rest, have great swim and take advantage of Cadaques.

Spectacular!

This property is truly a dream come true. The view of Cadaques is absolutely unmatched. The property is nestled into the cliffs overlooking town and is remarkable. The home is in amazing condition, with plenty of amenities all fully functional. Perhaps what I miss most was my morning routine of plunging in the pool every morning to wake up. The perfect remedy for jet lag and arguably the best perch in the world. I cannot imagine a better vacation. The property is filled with hidden gems - secret gardens, lounge decks, hammocks, you name it all tucked away on different cliffside levels. While the house is immaculate on the inside, you will probably find yourself spending every moment, meal, coffee and drink outside on the terrace. A mesmerizing and magical location that is truly otherworldly. Overall words cannot properly define what an amazing stay we had. The home is simply breathtaking. Don't take my word for it, please visit Casa Skyemar for yourself.

Beautiful home with fantastic views

We chose Skymar for the location and the views which were wonderful at all times of day. You can see the sunrise over the sea and one night we were lucky to see the full moon rising . The house is impressive in its design and comfortable with huge windows which give a wonderful feeling of space and light.The kitchen is a good size and well equipped and there is a long dining table. The dramatic location means that the drive up to the car park is steep and there are a good few steps up to the front door. There are lovely wild walks on the hills behind the house and we enjoyed swimming on the beach nearby.The pool is great for a dip on hot days.We had good recommendations from the owner about restaurants and also recommend a visit to Dali's studio at Port Legat and a walk on Cap de Creus. It was a fantastic and unforgettable holiday home.

Highly recommended

We spent a week at Skyemar with a family of five and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and felt sorry to leave, as Skyemar and Cadaques have stolen our hearts. There are already made a lot of nice and relevant comments about this property and its surroundings, and we fully agree with all of them! Many thanks to the owner for sharing his beautiful and peaceful home and many thanks also to his nice staff. The house was very well cleaned and the change-over was perfectly managed. We definitely would like to come back.

Back for a 3rd time

Wonderful, outstanding views over the bay and the town of Cadaques. NB Even better than the photos. Immaculate furnishings and spotless well equipped kitchen. Cliff side pool and shower. Outside Barbecue area. Immaculately and comfortably furnished. Very well serviced and maintained. Easy access to the beaches, bars and restaurants of Cadaques. Cannot recommend this house too highly.
