Home Away From Home. Large Bedrooms, 3 Bath, spacious home with slip

We are currently available for the 2022 season. Long term rentals are welcome.

Now entertaining families, a fully furnished home with spectacular lake views from bedrooms and main living area. Sleeps up to 8 comfortably with large private bedrooms on the second floor. The home is situated on a quiet street with a very private feel. The kitchen is fully loaded with all required necessities including dishwasher, microwave, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, toaster and more.

Three bedrooms have Queen beds and two of them have private baths. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The two master bedrooms have individual decks that have a spectacular view of the lake, shown in the pictures.

Bring your boat, the house comes with a slip that is a stones throw away from the house.

Nice place with lake view

This is our 4th time staying at this house. We love that the house comes with a boat slip so we can bring our boat and have it a short walk from the house.

Great Lake House

The house had everything we needed for a great week at the lake. The walk to the dock was close and lit up at night. We had a super relaxing week at the house!

We had an absolutely amazing experience staying at this VRBO! This was our 5th year staying at this property. The owner is top notch. There was an incident at the house from the previous renters that could have potentially canceled our reservation and ruined our vacation. The owner was upfront, honest and clearly communicated the situation to us, provided us a couple different options and ultimately pulled a bunch of strings and scrambled to get things repaired and not cancel our reservation a week before our trip on a holiday weekend.We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, place to stay. Thank you for an unforgettable visit!

Ladies Trip

We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. We had 5 senior ladies who were very happy sitting on the back deck watching the boats on the lake. The only thing that would have made it better would be somewhere right there where we could swim. Not advisable with the marina right there. I did call property management one time & they were terrific!

We loved our stay at this location specially because is a water front property just steps away from lake, my family and I loved loved loved the lake experience lots of fun stuff to do in the water, light house marina is just a minute away , very nice service. Our overall experience was pleasant, Tim was very quick to respond to any questions we had, home needs lots of TLC but nonetheless it met our needs.

Greentown - Marina Village

Ed.... Very nice property. I will definitely stay again. We tied up our Sea-Doos in F-31 and Cathy allowed us to use the private launch. It took us a day to realize there was a secret set of stairs down to the docks. I left the stove top and toaster oven and refrigerator and gas grille cleaner than how I found it. Thanks, Scott

I arrived Thursday 10pm . Their electronic lock was not working properly they gave me three contact # in case of emergency . I called all three multiple times no answer . After multiple calls and getting VRBO involved Mr Lind finally calls me . The house is really dirty Cobb webs .

Brian failed to turn the lock after entering the code. We realized that some of the electronic locks unbolt the door automatically after the code is entered. After we explained this to Brian, he entered the code and turned the knob, he was able to enter and enjoy the house.

Disappointing! Linens, refrigerator and grill not clean!

Bed linens appeared slept in. Refrigerator had multiple shelves that were dirty. Master bath trash not emptied. View of lake available if standing due to underbrush overgrowth. While the property has potential, the lack of attention by the owner and/or cleaning person makes this property undesireable.

Thank you for your feedback. What was disappointing with this guest is that he called us upon arriving at the house to confirm the house code and did not mention any of this. We could have fixed any issue he believed to be. He also chose to write this review after his stay and still prior to communicating with us. The view of the lake is exactly as it is in the pictures, and the amazing view is one of the reasons we have folks come back year after year. It is a wonderful house, and we've had nothing but great comments and memories from everyone that has stayed.

Great Location, great kitchen

The cabin was perfect for my married son and his wife, my single son, my husband and I. We did expect one more person who couldn't attend. There are two master suites so that was good for our married son to use as well as us. The property could have been cleaner, for example, the outdoor table and chairs were filthy, and the outdoor grill was never cleaned. We bought grill cleaner and left it spotless. The kitchen is a good size with a great counter. The dining room table wobbles, about a 2" swing. It is the table wood itself that is wobbling not the feet, but we were too busy to try to fix that. The cabin comes with no towels, which I discovered the day of. Owner should send the instructions earlier because we were on the way with no reception when I got the e-mail and had to scramble to buy towels at the nearby Dollar General. The cabin's location is excellent, just walking distance from the marina, where I rented a pontoon boat an afternoon. We tried fishing off the dock with no luck, too many boats on the water scare the fish. We had an overall great time. This is the perfect size for a large family.

Great location!

Great location in proximity to the Marina and kids activities. We went to Kalahari water park and Claws and Paws. No real outdoor space except for the deck downstairs. Upstairs decks were not safe for children. Boat slip was within walking distance and if the steps leading down are too steep for any renters ( myself, 7 mo pregnant, our toddler and disabled Nana) you can board next door at the Marina. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

Great set up, dock but no easy swimming

The house is large and the second floor is bright. The kitchen provides sufficient space for cooking and baking. The view of the lake is lovely. No good location for an outdoor fire. The house needed some attention when we arrived, including cleaning and some maintenance work. The owner was very responsive and got the maintenance person on site quickly to fix the maintenance issues. Finding good cleaning help at this time appears to be a challenge. We spent a good amount of time cleaning the kitchen and the air conditioner filters. The owner adjusted our fee accordingly. Waking up to the sunny view of the lake was marvelous. Being right next to Pocono action sports was convenient for renting boats. There was no good access for our kayaks or for swimming however. We spent a month and enjoyed ourselves. The neighborhood is quiet, the only noise coming from the lake.

A great place to get away

The place where we stayed was a lot nicer than expected. Many things were already provided such as cooking utensils, plates, and cups. We had a narrow, but beautiful view from the patio/balcony. The furniture was very nice. Overall impressed with how well the property turned out to be. I'd definitely come back again.

Amazing house with an amazing view

My family had a wonderful time! The house is spacious, clean and and has an amazing view of the lake, with perfect sunsets over the deck as we relaxed at the end of the day. Everything was exactly as expected and we had no issues. There is a brand new stove, microwave, and grill and everything was spotless. The kids enjoyed boating in the lake and visiting Promised Land State Park as well as playing ping pong and darts. The parents enjoyed a new find of Three Hammers Winery just a few minutes from the house with outdoor seating and soft and spongey trails padded with fallen pine needles. A great place for a family vacation!

Nice Home But Needs Thorough Cleaning and Many Repairs

The home has comfortable furniture in the living room and our family was able to enjoy the spacious common areas on the main floor and the lake location; however, the issues that the previous renter raised were not addressed before we arrived. How disappointing that was! For example, the soak tub in the master bathroom was not usable because it had blue/green stuff emanating from the controls/faucet. The grill had not been cleaned recently and, as noted by a previous renter, the plates that deflect the gas flames were disintegrating. They should be replaced. It is unhealthy to spend any time in the basement because fiberglass insulation is exposed. So, we couldn't use the ping-pong table. The fireplace didn't work. If these items and others are fixed, this could be a stellar unit. Lastly, the oven was broken a week before we arrived and that was a huge inconvenience for our family. We wanted to cancel our reservation when we found out, but the owner informed us that he would fix it before we arrived. Unfortunately for us, the owner was not able to accomplish that even though we delayed our trip by a day to give him extra time. In fact, we found out while driving to the unit that the oven would be broken the entire time. In addition, the unit's small toaster oven was filthy and needed to be cleaned inside and out before using it.

Good experience

The property is good. Bedrooms are big. Three Full bathrooms with showers are a plus. Basement is not very clean. Overall good experience with the property.

This property is in desperate need of attention, maintenance, deep cleaning, repairs

The good thing about this rental house is the location. Close to the lake shore, the view from the first and second level decks is nice, even is blocked by overgrown vegetation. Inside space starting with living-dining-kitchen area and the bedrooms is generous, having nice furniture and a well coming feeling. Without being fussy people, we noticed unpleasant things during our stay, which downsized the value of our vacation spent here. The house is in a desperate need of attention: maintenance-deep cleaning-repairs: - huge amount of mold grows freely on the basement floor, where the air is unbreathable. For this reason the ping pong table was impossible to be used. For us this was a serious health hazard and we avoided entering the area. - on the stairway that leads to basement the carpet is missing. - the sink faucet handle of hall bathroom was broken - the master bathroom towel bar came out of the brackets when we first time hanged the towel on it, and the jacuzzi tub surface spotted by some green substance coming out from one of the faucets - barbecue grill is almost impossible to be used due to damaged flame cover plates, faulty ignitor and big amount of grease accumulated on the burners. - deck table top surface has a cracked ceramic tile. - walls on all rooms are cracked on corners - Light switches knobs missing on couple locations - Deck ceiling light/fan doesn’t have a way to stop the fan. It can be either light plus fan at the highest speed, either no light, no fan, on off position - Outdoor lighting surrounding the house is inexistent, except the light pole in the front of the house - the promised fire pit was for no use because is was no safe place around the house where a fire could be safely lighted. - Microwave / hood front vent cover is totally missing - Keurig coffee maker impossible to be used because it was clogged. The light control indicated it is in need for descaling. We avoided using the machine. Overall, for us it was a unpleasant experience having this property rented for 7 nights. For the price paid, we just felt disrespected.

Such angry folks that at the last minute ask to bring their dog and we obliged. These folks are toxic to the home rental community.

Spacious house beautiful view

This house is great for 6-8 people. There are lots of great things about this property. The rooms are spacious as well as the family room. The leather sofa is wonderfully comfortable and we enjoyed watching Netflix on the smart TV. The view of the lake is so pretty. I love the covered deck especially since it rained all day on Wednesday and we were able to sit on the deck and watch the rain. The queen bed mattresses are very comfortable! Tim was very good about responding to us via text. When we arrived the GFC needed to be reset, and he was great in helping us reset this promptly! It is an old house, and with old houses comes dirt. The basement (with the ping pong table) was way too musty probably because of all the rain this summer, so we didn't spend any time in the basement. The kitchen cupboards/utensils didn't seem clean either. There was an odor in all the cupboards. I washed all plates/utensils before using them. The house had a lot of bugs and cobwebs. The light fixtures in the kitchen/bathrooms were covered with dust as was the air conditioning units in the bedrooms (the filters were full of dust as well) The balconies off the two rooms with the queen beds were not swept, so there was a lot of dead leaves/debris. There are no chairs/tables on these bedroom decks as well. If the house is given a good deep cleaning, we would be happy to stay there in the future! Also, if you want to reserve a boat rental, reserve weeks/months in advance! We waited too long and weren't able to get the pontoon boat or speed boat that we wanted.
