Quiet Country Cottage-Three bedrooms, Hot tub, Sauna, Fishing pond

Small home with lots of space to relax and reconnect with yourself or your loved ones. Great for a couple's retreat, relaxing honeymoon, anniversary celebration, or just a chance to get away from town and the hustle and bustle of life. The open fields provide plenty of sky to look up at and dream and lots of grass to plant your feet in to get grounded. Your only neighbor is the owners main house with a grassy field in-between and no facing windows. Very private.

Two person outdoor hot tub perfect for star gazing at night. No light pollution. The property is ideal for photographers or artist to build their portfolios or write your next novel. The owners are happy to accommodate for your needs, just ask.

Indoor 2 person Far Infrared Sauna. Massage table available if wellness and health is your focus. Main bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed with memory foam topper. Bedroom three with West facing windows has a double futon and extra twin mattress. Washer and dryer. Quiet walks, no traffic. Dogs welcome although there is no fenced in yard. Kitchen equipped with essentials.

The area has 2 nearby lakes and 2 single person kayaks or canoe available for rent. Lane is a dead end so no through traffic enhances this private location. Relax and enjoy bird-watching and quiet walks. Home is ADA friendly except for the gravel driveways. Fishing in the pond by the owners home is available by request- dependent on weather and current activities. Bluegill, Red-ear, and Bass. Catch and release or keep for dinner. ( please throw back any bass over 15'')

Barn in the back of owner's property is also available for use in events at an additional fee. Contact owner for further details.

PETS

We are pet friendly but we are not running a kennel. One really bad experience has made us revamp our pet policy. We do not have a pet fee because we have found that most pet owners are responsible.

Dogs-

2 max. Any dog over 40 lbs needs to be approved.

A vacuum and cleaning supplies are provided for daily upkeep.

Kennels are required for unsupervised pets. We can provide an XL and a L kennel.

Beds and dog towels provided.

Pets are prohibited from sleeping on the beds.

As stated earlier we don’t add a pet fee because we also travel with our dogs and want to promote responsible pet ownership. That being said, If it is left a mess there will be an additional cleaning fee for time required to get the home ready for people that may not have pets themselves. In two years we have only done that once.

Cats- same rules but if you bring a 40 lb cat we have more questions. lol
