LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The Marketplace Lodge is steps away from local shops and cafes, summer concerts and winter ice skating at the Whistler Olympic Plaza. Yet, the condo faces away from all the hustling and bustling so you can relax and recharge away from the crowds. Walk to everything that Whistler has to offer. A major grocery store, Fresh St Market is steps away. A liquor store, restaurants, bars, shops and more are within walking distance away. Walk along the Village stroll and enjoy all that Whistler Village has to offer. You are also steps away from the paved over 40km Valley trail which connects all of Whistler`s neighborhoods, lakes, picnic spots and viewpoints.
THE LAYOUT Located on the 2nd level, this one-bedroom condominium (sleeps 3) unit features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area and includes a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and with plush towels and essentials (body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided). The condo has a Queen bed in the bedroom and a single pull out couch. This spacious 1BR home sleeps up to 3 people.
LIVING AREA The kitchen is fully equipped with all your cooking and baking needs (oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea and sugar provided). Cozy up in front of the fireplace to bring true ambiance in any season. A TV with cable and Netflix (must sign into your own accounts) is available for your use. Log in to your own account and easily pick up from where you left off on your favorite shows.
BEDROOM TV: It has a standard cable for your entertainment.
LAUNDRY Enjoy the in-suite washer and dryer at your convenience. Laundry pods provided
PARKING The unit comes with 1 dedicated parking spot, #29. If you have more than one car, please park in one of the visitor spots marked throughout the garage and follow the instructions posted on the stalls. Additional visitor parking is available for a fee. *** Regular-sized vehicles only. If your vehicle does not fit within the lines - you may not park there and must park elsewhere at your expense.**
BUSES IN WHISTLER Whistler Transit operates a FREE seasonal shuttle service around Whistler Village. Route 4 - Marketplace Shuttle to and from the Gondola Transit Exchange (mid-November to April) Route 5 - Upper Village/Benchlands Shuttle from the Gondola Transit Exchange to Blackcomb Base Lodge and the Benchlands (year-round) Route 8 - Lost Lake Shuttle (mid-June to early September)
BC Transit also operates routes connecting Whistler`s neighborhoods, with a single fair trip costing $2.50- correct change is required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Marketplace Lodge is a safe and secure building. Your check-in instructions will give you building, garage, and elevator access information. You will also receive a personal computer-generated code for the condo door.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
Marketplace Lodge Elevator #3 Update: There has been an additional delay in the restoration of Elevator #3 at Marketplace Lodge. According to Strata, the elevator is now expected to be fully operational by the end of January or early February. The delay is due to supply chain issues with the supplier of the necessary materials. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Any stay over 14 nights will result in a mandatory mid stay cleaning fee of $105.00 charged to the guest on top of the cleaning fee paid on reservation.
This entire property is NON-SMOKING including on the patio.
We provide a complimentary starter set of basic toiletries & coffee/tea. Guests will need to purchase or bring their own if they need more than what`s supplied.
If amenities like the pool, hot tub, sauna, or ski-in/ski-out access aren`t available during your stay due to circumstances beyond our control (such as but not limited to repair, maintenance and weather conditions), we cannot be held responsible.

The place wasn’t clean and the tvs weren’t set up properly. After we left the company charged us extra for a supposed stain that we left on the mattress. Would not stay again.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the cleanliness and TV setup. Upon checking, all devices were connected to the internet, with the exception of one TV that had difficulty connecting, and we regret this issue.
Regarding the cleaning concerns, we did request photos to share with our cleaning company but did not receive any. As for the extra charge, it was for a stain on the mattress, which you identified as a spray tan. We had to hire a professional cleaner to address it. Additionally, while the late check-out was unauthorized, we waived the fee due to the cleaning team’s arrival while you were still in the unit after the checkout time.
We appreciate your feedback and are committed to improving our services for future guests.
