270 Oia's View Cavehouse V, carved into the mountain, offers views towards the village of Oia, the Aegean islands and the mesmerizing Sunset. Featuring a private swimming pool and a beautifully landscaped garden, it combines the values of space and privacy: the heart and soul of a travelling experience.

It can accommodate up to 4 persons: entering the villa (at the biggest cave on the right) you find the fully equipped kitchen with the livingroom and dining area. The open space bedroom with the built bed and the bathroom, is adjacent to the living room so that someone can enjoy the view from wherever they stand. The smaller cave on the left is the master bedroom with the private spacious bathroom (with hydro massage tab).
Inside the villa, the bright colours, the minimal decoration and the carefully adjusted lighting create an ambient interior. On the outside, the dominating grey colour blends effortlessly with the Santorinian land.

Cavehouse V is part of the 270 Oia’s View complex, located just 700m from the main pedestrian street of Oia and with a number of quality restaurants nearby. The guest can enjoy privacy away from the crowds but also visit the village within a few minutes. The famous hiking trail that connects Oia with Fira is also adjacent to the property providing the unique experience of walking along the edge of the caldera cliff while enjoying the amazing views.
Although Oia is a protected village where vehicles are not allowed to cross, our location offers the rare advantage of car accessibility and free parking space for our guests. In addition, the nearest bus stop is in 50m in case someone wishes to use public transportation.

Our Guest Service team will be at your disposal even prior to your arrival to organise your check in and anything you need or wish to enjoy during your stay (transfer, car rental, cruises, winery tours, helicopter rides etc).

E. Vasilakis, architect and owner, designed and constructed the project during the period of 2008-2011 with extreme respect to the natural landscape and the well known Santorinian traditional bioclimatic architecture. High quality materials combined with the traditional methods of Santorini’s technicians gave an outcome of excellent minimal aesthetic and fully functional interior spaces completely adapted to the unique scenery.

A unique and unmatched experience

Oia 270 made our stay in Santorini truly memorable. It is close enough to be in the midst of the action but far enough to escape the crowds. The view from our veranda was lovely but just minutes up the path was an even more stunning and secluded view of the sunset and town below. The room was impeccable- unique in architecture but with modern amenities and a well appointed kitchen and turn down service in the evening. Most notable though was our host, Panayiota. Her service was reminiscent of days of old. She was in contact with us before and throughout our stay. She scheduled our transfers and rental car, gave us a labeled map with fabulous recommendations and a local’s take on the must see stops along the way. She made dinner reservations and recommendations along with reserving our wine tour and even offered scheduling of our other activities as well. From the meandering pedestrian shopping paths in Oia and Fira to remarkable red beach to the black beach to the dazzling sunset in Ammoudi Bay, the island, Oia 270 and Panyiota are not to be missed! Thank you Panayiota for such a wonderful stay!

Loved the Cave Houses

Beautiful property with a wonderful front desk host. The staff could not have been more helpful. The house was a short 10-15 minute walk to town along the road (most of the way there is a path off the road) or via the gorgeous path along the ridge with breath taking views- just hike up to the church and turn right. (the church also has a sunset view) We considered staying in one of the cliff houses in Oai, but our family loved the extra space and the larger pool at this property. There is also an excellent restaurant across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Santorini!

This was a great property - unique, clean and comfortable. The listing and photos are very accurate and the the help and recommendations provided by the concierge, Panayiota, made us feel like we were staying at a full-service hotel. She was wonderful! The location is good, depending on your needs. Oia is only about 5minutes by car and Imerovigli is about 15 minutes. Despite what a number of other reviews say, it is not an easy walk to Oia... at least not in August when it is very hot. The positives are that it is much more private than staying on the Caldera in Oia and you get a much better value. The negative is that you will probably want to drive and finding parking can be a bit difficult and expensive. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate the attentiveness of the staff. I would recommend this property if you don't mind a short drive in and out of town.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 270 Oia View in Cave House V. The staff was professional and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were there for my wedding in Oia and my parent's and I loved everything about it. The room was clean and cozy and the outdoor area with the pool was awesome for entertaining friends and family during the visit. We will be back for sure! -The Nicholas Family

Superb stay in cavehouse V

We had an excellent 5 night stay. Artemis, Helena and the whole crew made our stay very enjoyable. Very cool concept and well manicured landscape. For us it was the perfect location. Away from the promiscuity of Oia and yet only 17 min walk on the Donkey trail to the village. Also.. You can do nothing and chill out by the pool. (Ps .. You can take the humidity out of the cavehouse by putting the heat on the 2 AC units). Its a house rental with housekeeping every day. There are is no washing machine, but laundry service for 25 euros per wash&dry. Christian and France.

Awesome Rental

This was one of the most memorable rental experiences we had. Everything was exactly as advertised: The house (actually a cave carved into the mountain) is impeccable, with great attention given to every detail. The overall setting is gorgeous and there is a great sense of privacy. Manos and his crew tended to our every need and did so with a warm smile and professionalism. We will definitely be going back!
