Cozy cabin nestled in the woods with a beautiful view

Get away from the hustle and bustle and escape to our tranquil newly updated and completely remodeled, (June 2023) cabin nestled among nature's beauty. Surrounded by trees at the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Over looking a lush valley that comes alive in the fall with stunning oranges, reds and golds with the changing of the seasons.
Sit back and relax at your own private fire pit that includes outdoor furniture to enjoy while making s-mores or roasting marshmallows or just kick back and enjoy the view of the lush valley and colorful foliage.
Then head inside to this cozy 2 bedroom, bath and a half cabin. The front porch is screened in to allow you to enjoy the outdoors without all the pesky mosquitoes. The ceiling fans and swings will make this everyones favorite spot.
The kitchen showcases new cabinets and stainless steel appliances that include a full range/oven, microwave, fridge (of course), and a dishwasher. As well as a blender, toaster, coffee maker and mixer and everything else you'll need for cooking. Plus complimentary dish detergent, dish soap, garbage bags and paper towels to start with.
There is a full size washer and dryer for your use and a start of detergent as well.
After a fun filled day you can relax in the living room on the sectional and watch your favorite movies that you can stream on the 65 inch smart TV. Or head out on the big sceened in back porch and watch a movie in the theater room that boasts a big screen and a projector.
When you're ready to head to bed you have your choice of a queen size Murphy bed in the living room as well as a sleeper sofa. Or head upstairs to the 2 bedrooms with queen size beds in each room as well as televisions. Plus there is a half bathroom upstairs that over looks the screened in porch and looks out to the canyon/ woods.
Our Cabin In The Woods includes all bed linens as well as bath towels ( you just need to bring your own beach towels).
The full bathroom is right off the kitchen and includes a shower ( no bathtub) and towels as well as complimentary hand soap pump and a start of TP.
Cental heating and air conditioning.
Ceiling fans in each bedroom as well as the living room.

The cabin was perfectly clean and stayed plenty warm enough for us during a cold snap in late November. It was a sweet little getaway, and we look forward to going back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and projector screen on the back porch. Tanya was helpful with questions about the house. We couldn’t get some of the lights to turn on at first. Someone (perhaps the new cleaning lady?) had turned off the twist knobs, so the wall switches didn’t turn the on. But we figured it out, and the Edison bulbs gave the room a beautiful ambiance! It was just the two of us, so we opted to sleep downstairs in the Murphy bed so we didn’t have to go up and down the stairs. (Just be aware that they are steep and not very deep! But railings are there to hold onto.) We never saw a single insect there! It is in a neighborhood, but once we got to the house, we felt like we had privacy. The property is up high and backs up to pure, raw forest as far as the eye can see! Very nice view! Next time, we’ll stay longer when we can enjoy the beautiful patios outside. Thanks for a great getaway!

Peaceful, cozy cottage

Clean and updated cottage. You can tell there was thought put into details to make sure guests are comfortable during their stay. We especially enjoyed just sitting in the screened-in back deck and taking in that view! So stunning. The surrounding area was fun to explore - we hope to be back to do more.

Moms weekend with the kids

Had such a wonderful stay, cute cabin in the wood was perfect. Cabin was clean and everything was easy to access. Kids really enjoyed the movie projector on the porch, that was a nice surprise. We enjoyed a day at Cave city lake a d a nice night in the cabin. wish we could of staied longer.

This cabin is awesome! The location is tea close to to lake and you can get to most things within 20mins I can’t wait to go back!

Cozy and very fun

We had a lot of fun. 6 of us total, we brought some air mattress so everyone could have their own bed but it sleeps a decent amount of people regardless. Anyways we really enjoyed it and it was very pretty and we absolutely loved the fire pit and projector they had on the deck it was a very nice stay overall and would do again

Little Gem

The first thing we noticed about this cabin was that it’s very clean. our #1 pet peeve is a dirty rental. We appreciate it very much walking into a clean cabin. The cabin sits at the end of a country road that was easy to drive too. Although there are cabins very close on each side, we only saw one neighbor and he was very nice. We loved the screened in porch and used it often. The view was so pretty. The kitchen has plenty of items for cooking and serving meals. We appreciated the to save us time so that we could spend more time relaxing. There were plenty of pillows and blankets and cozy beds. We appreciated the extra air conditioner on the second floor.We were happy to have use of the Roku to watch movies. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms so we did not have to worry about bringing our own.The host were quick to respond to messages, which we greatly appreciateOverall, we had a great time and would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Great location, incredible views and the Peace & Quiet were top Notch. Friendly host ensure all was smooth and loved every relaxing minute of our stay. Don’t feel bad if you decide to stay in and nap the day away instead of enjoying the nearby lake and trails.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

I had a great time here with my family! The property is beautiful. We had a wonderful time enjoying the nature at the property. The drive to Natural Bridge was about an hour. We also enjoyed hiking around Cave Run Lake, which was only about a 20 minute drive. And our host was very communicative and helpful. Thank you for a great stay! We would love to come back for another visit.

Love this cabin

This was our 2nd stay in the awesome cabin and we have another stay booked. Cabin has everything needed to make it feel like home. House was spotless. The views from the screened in porch are amazing. We enjoyed spending time at the firepit and beautiful scenery. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

we had a great time, we loved the amount of areas there were for memories. it was so close to so many different areas of the lake and forest to discover, we visited quite a few spots and even got a hike in! we will be sure to be back!

Perfect place

My wife and I travelled with 6 children, ages 4-18. We were there to hike RRG trails and get away for a few days. The cabin was really great. Clean, newly remodeled and was absolutely perfect for us. We were not cramped or crowded, the beds were comfortable, kitchen layout was done well. We would love to come back and visit again. One issue - which the host addresses in communication, is that GPS does not lead you to the correct location, and the road signs are not great. We found it after searching for a bit, but had we come at night, we’d have had to call for help. If using google, mine currently says “Lawson rd”, but if you click on the house number it changes the road to what the host says it should be. Very weird. Anyway - not the hosts fault, and we loved our experience there. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect Weekend

Wow, this is an amazing cabin. We stayed while visiting our daughter at Morehead State. This cabin was not only spotless, but was stocked with everything we needed. The views from the screened in porch were breathtaking with the fall foliage. We didn’t get to use the firepit, but we definitely plan on staying here again and look forward to using it. Owners have thought of everything to make this a great place to stay! Thank you, already looking forward to our next visit!
