Jefferson View Lodge is named for the majestic mountain view enjoyed by many while relaxing on the patio with family and friends. Jefferson View is a great place for families & friends to kick back, relax and enjoy the lake! With jet skiing, boating and snowmobiling always an option, you will never become bored. Idaho is home to some of the greatest fishing in the country. With rivers and lakes within driving distance, the only thing better than relaxing on the deck at the lodge, is touring the riverbanks looking for the next big catch!
We do have a few strict rules no pets and no esa animals . Please respect our choice in this matter

The best place

This is our fifth time to stay here and it feels like home. The property is wonderful and big enough that we don’t ever feel crowded. The dock for the boat and the beach for the kiddos

We love this cabin and Island Park so much. It has become an annual vacation for our family. It is the best cabin for large family gatherings and preparing large family meals. The manager is awesome to work with. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the beds are terrible. We all go home pretty tired because we didn't sleep well on their old mattresses. Other than that it is perfect.

Amazing time

The house was absolutely beautiful. We had lots of room. We enjoyed the lake front. Highly recommend this property. We plan to return.

Perfect place for our large family. We loved our stay and had a wonderful Christmas.

The kitchen with open great room was excellent for large family gatherings. The play rooms and theater room were a big hit. Management was extremely helpful and responsive to questions we had.

Family Reunion

Great stay! Great location!

We had a wonderful family reunion at Jefferson lodge. Direct view of fireworks for July 4th. Easy access to boat and jet ski rentals. Very clean and bigger than the pictures! Perfect place to gather and play with family.

Family reunion

We had a family of 20 at this cabin. The cabin was clean and stocked with all the necessities a big family might need. The kitchen accommodations were fantastic, the game closet and game room impressive, and the views were breathtaking! Thank you for an amazing few days building happy family memories!

Beautiful Place to Host a Family Reunion

We LOVED this beautiful home. It provided everything we needed to house our family of 18 (9 adults, 9 children) from Sweden, Wash DC and California. We love the lake and dock for water recreation and it was close enough to visit Yellowstone. This was the first time since Covid that we could all be together and this well equipped property exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time.

Best VRBO yet

This is absolutely a fantastic property. The owners have gone to great efforts to make this the perfect place for a large family gathering. Fully stocked kitchen with everything clearly labeled and great appliances; playroom for the kids with lots of toys; game room and theater for everyone. We enjoyed every minute at this property.

Beautiful lake side family cabin

We love the location and size of this property so our whole family can stay together. Kids can walk out the back door and be swimming or kayaking in the lake. Lots of nearby activities for the whole family, like horseback riding, river rafting, dirt biking, mountain biking, hiking, etc. There is an old couch on the deck that needs to be removed and some of the other furniture is getting dated, but you can’t beat the location.

Dad's 70th Yellowstone

Family vacation for grandpa's 70th birthday. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beds for everyone! Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of mountain, lake, and forest. Only lacks adult water toys like kayaks, canoe, etc. and needs more exterior seating

Favorite summer vacation home

This is our 4th vacation at this rental, and we feel like it’s home. Having a private dock and being able to leave your boat in the water instead of having to take it out after each use is ideal. The beach with its fire ring makes the evenings great. The fully equipped kitchen is terrific and is the best kitchen we have encountered; they have thought of everything you need.

Hosted a group of clients mid May 2023. Property was as advertised and suited our group perfectly. Property manger was easy to communicate/work with. Property offered easy access to Yellowstone Park and manageable access to Grand Teton. Would highly recommend!

We love this family cabin

I think we just finished our fourth stay at this cabin, and we have booked it for next summer. That should say it all. We love the location and the spaciousness of it, and the fantastic kitchen with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, and a great supply of appliances, cookware and dishes. We were pleasantly surprised this year to see some very old furniture replaced. It's fantastic and was such an upgrade to the family gathering area. Our one and only complaint is that we would like to see the mattresses upgraded. The property manager was wonderful. We love this place.

family reunion

What an amazing place even better than the pictures We had our family come from multiple states to meet here. Everyone had their own space. You don't have to think of anything except clothes, sunscreen, and groceries. The place is fully stocked and ready to cook for an army- spices and all. Moms, there is a play room, high chairs, crib and playpen so travel just got lighter. Just enjoy and replenish what you use up.

Wonderful stay with entire family of 20

We all loved our week on Bill’s Island. From the perfectly stocked kitchen, to the very spacious living room, dining room, kitchen bar area, to the play room for small kids, to the ping pong, pool, and foosball table room, there was a space for everyone to enjoy. The lake with a very nice dock was also a huge plus. Only one minor negative was the aging black peeling furniture in the home theater room. Didn’t bother me, but my wife thought it should be replaced. The towels, and sheets were awesome. So many nice thoughtful touches. Overall we loved our week.

Best experience on VRBO

We have been to Island Park 3 times now and this is hands-down the best cabin ever. The rooms were larger than the pictures and the great room held 28 people all at once. This made our family gatherings possible. The entryway, hallways and stairwells are extra wide and generous. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might possibly need for cooking for a large family. The furniture and supplies are all in great condition. There are 2 washers and 3 dryers. Outside there are many lawn chairs to move around as well as nice deck chairs to watch the gorgeous view. The back lawn area is small and could use a good mowing and pickup when we were there. The dock worked well for a boat and sea-Doos. Thank you for creating such a marvelous place for families to gather.

The Wolf Pack celebration.

This was the best place to celebrate our 60th anniversary and gather our 4 generations together. There was room for all and so much fun in the lake. The kitchen was so great and well organized. It made our trip the best. Thanks.

We have been staying at Jefferson Lodge in Island Park, Idaho for the last 14 years, every summer. It is perfect for my family. It is very peaceful and has so many ammenities. Kids to adults can spend time visiting, or in the reservoir, playing games or just relaxing. Thanks for such a great facility.
