Welcome to Whitetail Wilds Hideaway! Our beautiful vacation guest house is where relaxation and adventure go hand in hand! Our cozy 2 bedroom guest house with king beds is the perfect place to call home and make memories during your visit to the Cook Forest/Clear Creek State Park area. Nestled on 66 private wooded acres, our all new guest house has been carefully curated to provide you with all the comforts and conveniences you need to enjoy your stay. We take great pride in our guest house and strive to make it the perfect vacation retreat for our guests. Our property is meticulously cleaned and maintained, and we're always available to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have during your stay. Outdoor enthusiasts will love that we are ideally located within 5-10 minutes from Clear Creek State Park and Cook Forest State Park and a short 20 minute drive to the Allegheny National Forest. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventures or just a relaxing getaway, you'll find everything you need right here at Whitetail Wilds Hideaway!

We had a wonderful stay recently at this Guest house and spent much needed time visiting with our family that live in the area! Kids loved the hot tub and home had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend stay! Beds were extra comfy and love the open concept in living area of home. Would love to stay again in the future!

This beautifully decorated, ultra-clean, comfortable guesthouse was the perfect fit for a 5-girl getaway weekend at the Cook Forest Gingerbread Trail.The beds are super comfortable and hot tub is spectacular!! The fire pit is welcoming and outdoor space is gorgeous (however, weather didn't quite cooperate at this time of the year!)We highly recommend this peaceful setting. Carrie is so attentive and quick responsive, we are very happy we stayed here!
Kitchen and dining spaces are roomy and well stocked.

Everything was excellent. The hosts are very nice and the place was very clean. The only thing we weren’t expecting was the guest house being located right next to the main house, but this was likely our fault for not looking into the house more! The weather didn’t cooperate for us to be outside much, but we did really enjoy the hot tub when it wasn’t raining! My favorite aspect of the house is how it sits back in the woods and feels peaceful and relaxed. I would certainly return here!

Host added a special touch by ha ing sone seasonal decor to the property. There were chocolates on the nightstands that added a smile.Its a beautiful guesthouse and the hostess's charm and eagerness to make our stay great made it feel all that better. The hottub was much appreciated after a day of hiking at the state parks nearby. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoy this lovely property

We had the best “girls' weekend” at WhiteTail Wilds! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated — the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals together, and the outdoor space was just as wonderful — peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. We especially enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings after our hikes — the perfect way to relax and unwind.The location couldn’t have been better — right between Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Forests. We hiked at Clear Creek along the beautiful Clarion River and also explored Bear Town Rocks — both were amazing and so convenient from the cabin.Our group of four felt right at home, and it was the perfect place to relax, laugh, and recharge. The hosts were great to communicate with and made everything super smooth. We would definitely come back and highly recommend WhiteTail Wilds for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family!

Best Host ever!! Friendly, kind, accommodating. We had a girls get together, old high school friends, now all seniors, Citizens not HS seniors. This place has it all. Comfy beds, Fire pit, with firewood. Screened in porch/gazebo with tables and chairs. Hot Tub! Quite area, deer everywhere. not far to restaurants and of course Cooks Forest

Others before us have offered rave reviews and we would heartily agree with them. The guest house was beautiful and hospitality of hosts was above and beyond. This was a perfect location to explore Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Parks and other area attractions. Would highly recommend!

Carrie was awesome! She made us feel like family she did a great job of explaining everything there was in the area to do from restaurants, coffee shops, good spots for kayaking to a deer park which my grandson loved! She knew we were coming to celebrate my son’s birthday so she offered to grab a balloon bouquet to surprise him when he walked in the door and had happy birthday playing on the tv! The cabin was so clean and cozy. Will absolutely be going back again. If you are looking to get away, relax, and unwind this is your place!

We had the most amazing stay! The host treated us like family and were so accommodating and helpful. The home was very clean and homy - our visit was effortless! I would definitely recommend this vrbo- you will not be disappointed! My kids loved the hot tub and the grounds had great trails for hiking. We will most definitely be back next year!

Our Host was fabulous. The communication was timely and accurate. It felt line we were staying in a friend’s home. The pictures do not do this property justice. Everything was decorated beautifully and was impeccably clean. I will stay again next time I am in the area. My whole family loved it.

The host was very hospitable! We enjoyed our stay in the guesthouse, clean and comfortable. Also, generous amenities left from the host. We enjoyed the fire and hot tub on a colder weekend stay. Close to local businesses and hiking.

A wonderful place to stay

This was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Carrie and Jeff were excellent hosts. They were there when we needed something, even loaning binoculars when we went to the Elk Country Visitor Center so we could find Elk in that area (we did), and other things that were above and beyond what was necessary or expected. But they were also respectful of our privacy. We have rented many Vrbo's and Carie and Jeff are the best.The cottage was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities were there. They put a lot of thought into the design and furnishings such as the hot tub which was great. I forgot how relaxing a hot tub could be. Carrie is an excellent communicator. Starting a day or two before our arrival we were given detailed directions to the cottage. She also answered our texts quickly which was very helpful. If we go back to this area, we will definitely stay here.

Perfect Get A Way

The guest house is perfectly kept with everything you need for a great get a way. The host has it set up with all the details for comfort. The fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor patio were a welcome addition to all the luxuries inside. We had great communication with the host with ease in check in and check out.

Our stay was amazing. The property was beautiful. The owners are amazing as well. They made our stay very comfortable and they were very informative and gave us a list of place we could eat at and trails we could hike. It was a great experience. We will definitely be going back

We love this area and are excited to share our beautiful guest house with you! This year we have created, what we hope, is a beautiful space for those looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway with all the comforts and conveniences you need to enjoy your stay. We live on the property, so we are here if you need us. We hope you make wonderful memories and enjoy your stay!

Our property has been recently renovated with 2 bedrooms with king beds, paved patio with a 6 person hot tub with lounger and propane gas grill. Guests have their own private yard space for fun and games and a firepit area with seating for 6. Guests have a covered 12' X 18' gazebo with privacy curtains and mosquito netting that has a dining area for 6 people and a bistro set with seating for 2. Entire guest house is situated on 66 beautiful wooded acres for guests to explore.
