Quaint lake cottage where you can enjoy the peace and serenity of nature living.

The house is on a hill, one lot back from Balch Lake. Surrounded by nothing but nature, a two-minute walk and you are at the community dock. Summer fun is endless, we have kayaks (5), canoes (2) and fishing gear. Just 3 miles down the road is ELF Paca Meadows. Feed over 100+ Alpacas and shop at their store. They have lots of handmade alpaca wares and merchandise! There are winter activities for everyone, so bring your skis, sleds and ice fishing gear. We have snowshoes and walking poles waiting.

We absolutely loved this cabin. If you like being off to yourself and secluded then this is the perfect spot! New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts are all beautiful. We were able to take day trips and travel to great historic sites as well as beautiful natural areas. The "pond", which is as big as lake in Ky (where we are from) was just a short walk away. The host kept in touch and the cabin had everything you could need. We actually felt at home for our entire stay. Highly recommend this Vrbo.

I highly recommend this property! We had a wonderful stay and Mark is the best host, he brought over the hammock for the kids and wood for the fire pit. We loved the lake and relaxing at the cabin. We will visit again for sure!

Mark and Amy were awesome! They were super responsive to any and all questions we had, gave us recommendations on food and activities in the area. The lake was amazing! Access to was down a small road where there was kayaks and canoes that we could use. We went kayaking and had a phenomenal time. Everyone on the water or in the shore was very friendly. It was a well needed short retreat back into nature. Our only regret was not booking this place for a longer stay!

Idyllic Getaway

Check in at the unit was easy and the home had a comfortable lived in feeling. There was plenty of games and things to do to occupy our time in the home. The owners made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. If we are in the area again, we would not hesitate to rebook tjis location.

Quiet cottage nestled in the woods

This cottage was very clean. Had everything you could possibly need. It was at the end of the small road so there was no traffic. Location is convenient to restaurants, country store and lakes. Owners were accessible and responsive. Great place to just get away and relax.

We had a great relaxing getaway here. The location was great with access to the lakes region. So many amenities and comfort. Quiet and out of the way. yet convenient to local points of interest. We were able to visit friends and family in the surrounding towns while having our own spot for a nice fire and cookout. It was great to have a dog runner right in the middle of the camp for our four legged family members. Mark is a great host. I highly recommend booking here!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It is located on a quiet road. There is great WiFi, and a big porch to relax on with nice views. The cottage is complete with all the amenities you would need, it is updated, clean and comfortable.There are good restaurants near by.Mark was so friendly and helpful. He recommended some places to visit and answered some questions. When I messaged him, he was quick to reply. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Mark was extremely helpful with questions and checked in on us. The cottage was just perfect! The porch wrapped around 2 sides of the house which made it nice to relax either in the shade or sun and watch hummingbirds. We were able to fish from the dock and used the canoe that was there and saw an eagle. The fire pit was used - s’mores and appreciated the wood that was supplied for us. The location was great as we were able to go into Maine for a day. A great vacation relaxing, biking and fishing! We will definitely look to come back.

Well appointed cottage

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was the best equipped VRBOwe have stayed in. It really does have everything you need and The host is very available and eager to help. The drawback is that there really isn’t any access to swimming. We came to see family who have a cottage on a nearby lake, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, it was all we needed and more.

Super quiet neighborhood in the pines

Great little property for a super quiet and relaxing break. The camp is well appointed, Mark and Amy have thought of everything. The camp is situated on a hill just about a 2min drive from the boat ramp and access to lake. Wifi works perfectly, there are quite a few games (giant jenga is super fun on the porch) and the comfy wicker chair on the porch is perfect for reading. Your pup will be happy too with a long cabeled run on the side of the camp. Communication was great leading up to our stay and Mark was super friendly once we got there. I would definitely recommend.

Our stay here was simple and sweet. The Cabin was very cozy and clean. We had small children with us and it was a great space to manage them safely as well. Charming cabin and excellent hosts! Well stocked kitchen, lots of towels and extra blankets. Private and comfortable neighborhood. Packed dirt road & driveway which is common for the area, but we had no issue riding our motorcycle on them. Good parking at the cabin with room to drop our 17’ trailer and park 2 pickup trucks. Great fire pit, deck, and dog friendly!
