Fully APP capable, HDMI capable, Screen mirroring capable, and wireless blue-tooth headset friendly. • Newly purchased King and Queen mattresses have pillow toppers for extra comfort. • Bed space for 7 adults • One memory foam mattress topper and spare sheets for someone to sleep on the Thomasville sectional couch • Ceiling fans in all bedroom and living room. • Outdoor patio, patio furniture, umbrella and b-b-q grill complete with charcoal and lighter fluid. • Large fenced backyard with overhead lighting. • GARAGE area for drop off storage of items you don't want to leave in you car during hot weather or that would clutter up the indoor area during your stay. • Plenty of parking in driveway or on street (4 cars no problem) • Outdoor motion detector lighting • Outdoor games (badminton and cornhole set)

Property is perfect for a game or weekend in B/CS. Host was unbelievable gracious and kind. Embodies Brazos County friendliness I remember from the 80s and 90s lost in the rest of Texas. Property was clean and well kept. The only minor hiccup was figuring out how to turn on the shower (pull down under the faucet) which confused our guests under 40. They had it stocked with beer and snacks for us. Walk to/from Kyle Field isn't too bad and safe (17 - 18 minutes after Yell Practice in the dark) but they had a parking pass across from Kyle Field for the game (which we didn't use because we were drinking so I can't comment on that experience). Really nice to have a keypad lock so no keys to worry about. Great experience from start to finish and will 100% return with family and friends.

Wonderful weekend in Aggieland

Came in town for the Norte Dame game. Wonderful weekend with friends. The house was very clean and comfortable. Mark and Catherine had little thoughtful extras throughout— mini cupcakes on the counter, fresh fruit, drinks in the fridge. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect stay. We arrived a little early and the host was kind enough to let us drop our cooler and bags before we headed out for lunch, she was extremely kind and welcoming and excited to have us. They were both extremely communicative, dropped the parking pass off to us, offered to let us borrow a clear bag and had many suggestions to help make our stay more comfortable. The house was wonderful, great location (walked to midnight yell), extremely clean and so comfortable. The beds were fluffy and cozy, there were fresh flowers throughout the house and plenty of amenities so we could grill and cook. We enjoyed cornhole in the yard and wished it was cool enough for the fire pit! The parking pass was a life saver after a long day in the sun watching the Ag’s BTHO Auburn - we were able to get out quickly and got back to the house in less than 10 minutes. I really can’t say enough, and can’t wait to come back! Thanks and Gig’Em ‘14

Fabulous getaway

I can’t say enough about how super this place is or the owners. It is definitely one of the cleanest STR’s we have ever stayed in. They left so many little extras to make your stay even more pleasant. The beds are Extremely comfortable!!! Great communication with the owners. You can tell they appreciate their renters and want to provide an excellent experience! Will recommend to everyone visiting to CStat and would definitely book again!!

So impressed!

I have already spread the good word about this VRBO property. You can tell the hosts care a lot about their home. A group of friends and I were in town for an Aggie football game and we are so happy we found this place! There were so many details that a lot of VRBO’s miss. We had plenty of supplies and then some (there was even an extra toothbrush for someone who forgot theirs)! We all commented on how comfortable the beds were - we had a great nights sleep. The parking pass made the stay extra special. Thank you so much Mark and Catherine for making it a wonderful stay!

Glad I Found It!

I was a little nervous to make a VRBO reservation because we have had a few bad experiences with other house rentals in College Station (in general). However, Gig ‘Em Getaway did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, their home was welcoming and very clean. Catherine and Mark went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper! The little touches, comfortable beds, cozy sectional couch, and well-supplied kitchen were much appreciated. We had a slight hiccup with the microwave, but the response time after texting was quick and very helpful. My only feedback is that the bunk beds are suitable for small children, not necessarily adults. The backyard is large enough to have a small gathering, and the hosts added some amenities to make it a pleasant and memorable experience for our family. The location of the house is convenient to the campus, grocery store, and many other desirable places. Highly Recommend!

Great A&M Getaway

My wife, myself, my twin daughters (19 yrs) and my elderly parents (80+) stayed at the Gig ‘Em Getaway in mid-December ‘23 for my Aggie daughter’s graduation. The home was very clean and spacious enough for all of us to move around comfortably. The location is excellent for A&M activities and the driveway fit a truck and 2 small SUVs easily. The entry process was flawless and the owners very, very helpful and responsive with information regarding the property and the surrounding area. It was truly a seamless experience. The little touches did not go unnoticed (including fresh REAL cream for coffee). Everything was absolutely wonderful. Being a frequent visitor to Kyle field in the fall, I cannot recommend Gig ‘Em Getaway more for a perfect football weekend or any other family event in College Station!

Gig'em Getaway is very close (within walking distance) to Texas A&M University and including Kyle Field and Blue Bell Baseball Field. We are on Holleman Drive which allows easy access to Texas Avenue to the East or Wellborn Drive to the West.
