3 min walk to beach! Ground-floor, poolside efficiency in complex on Sound, with newly renovated kitchen, flooring, and paint. Our unit faces the pool on ground floor. The complex is sound-side with pier, grills & gazebo. We are located just steps from the ocean with a private crosswalk for direct beach access.

Just picture a hotel room that has been converted to a privately owned efficiency. Our unit is perfect for a max of 2 adults. Please, no smoking in unit. Due to HOA rules, no pets or boats allowed by renters.

- New (2026) King BedFully stocked small kitchenette w/ cooktop, microwave, drip & k-cup coffee makers & countertop toaster oven
- Small full bath (tub/shower)
- Cleaning, linens, towels (basic...please bring xtras), starter paper goods included

Room was very clean and comfortable, bed could of been a little more comfortable, mattress needs replacing. I've stayed here before and enjoy the stay there. Kitchen has all that's needed for cooking a meal

This is the perfect couples retreat! The room was very cozy. The kitchen area has a full size fridge and we filled it up. There’s a mini cook top stove with two eyes and I was able to make my homemade spaghetti sauce using the pots that were in the unit. We had homemade ravioli for two nights. There is no oven, but that was no issue for us. We were able to heat and reheat our leftovers that we wanted to crisp up. We were scheduled to go down on a Saturday, but as luck would have it, a nor’easter blew through. Thankfully, the unit’s owner was very sweet and gave us the option to push the date back by two days so that we could enjoy our time at the beach. She was very flexible since the unit was free the following week. The beach access was fantastic, literally across the street. We did buy a beach permit to drive on the beach, so we walked over once. It was a very easy walk. The sound side was absolutely amazing! We were able to fish out there day and night. I caught mullet with the throw net and caught several croakers. There are picnic tables and grills as well as glider chairs to sit on. Smokers have their own area to smoke while enjoying the views of the sound. We hope to return in the near future!

The unit is quaint and has all the amenities we need, including plenty of linens. We have enjoyed our stay there twice and plan to continue booking that same unit.

This room was filthy. The rug was black from never being cleaned as was the couch, the ceiling fans caked with dirt, hair in the tub drains, kitchen garbage can was nasty, would not recommend staying here, look elsewhere.

This is a very cute condo with a great king sized bed and everything we needed for meals. The pool is beautiful and the property manager Wes very friendly and helpful. Close to beach and on the sound. A great place for a 5 day vacation.

The party that stayed before we got there smoked in the room we had to go buy Fabrese to try and cover the smell we also found cigarette butts under the couch and bed and ashes on the table at the air conditioner the bathtub drain was clogged so needless to say we won’t be staying there again and the host thought we were the smokers and stole an extra 50 from us

This is a nice unit, especially for the price point. Its nice to walk adross the street to be on the beach. We did encounter a bit of trouble during our stay, as the air conditioner began to not work as it had been. I called the host and left a message. Within minutes the host called me back and worked out a plan to get the unit replaced. The host's husband John arrived promptly as discussed and replaced the air/heat unit with a brand new one. John was extremely kind and caring about the issue. This is our 4th stay at one of this host's Bogue Shores units. When we plan our next trip down, this unit will be at the top of our list. I also mention that Wes, the properly manager is a super guy. He always keeps an eye on things and is friendly and helpful.

My husband and I have been vacationing at Bogue Shores Suites yearly for 33 years together. He’s been coming longer than that. We love the access to the beach and to the sound. The pool is amazing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Check in is seamless. The unit is clean. And the access to the pool is convenient.

This quiet property appears to be a converted motel, two stories, easy access to the beach with a dedicated crossing for the busy street. The pool was nice but when we wanted to use it before leaving on our last morning we were told it didn't open until 9 am which was disappointing. I much appreciated the ceiling fans. Although the room was quite small, the kitchen was well furnished. Tiny sink in the bathroom so we used the kitchen sink more. The tub was not totally clean, when I moved the mat there was sand and hair underneath. Plenty of linens provided. Overall I felt it was pricey given the cost for just two nights with all the fees added, but for those wanting to be near a beach and a pool and a kitchen it's fine. Full Moon Oyster bar was nearby and highly recommended!

The location is really great, and the price is nice too. Downgraded to 3 stars for cleanliness. While the living space was overall fairly clean, the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. The towels provided were all technically clean (you could tell fause they smelled of chemicals) all but one bath towel had black or red stains on them, making them feel unsafe.

Simply delightful

The room was supplied with adequate linens. The kitchen layout allows lots of counter space since we cook there. We live simple and this was perfect.

Great location

It is steps from the beach. The property grounds were very clean and Wesley who takes care of the property is fantastic and very helpful. The pool was not open yet, but it is very large.

We had a great stay. Cindy was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Pool unfortunately wasn’t quite ready due to some upgrades but we still had an amazing time across the street at the beach.

Hi, I'm Cindy. I work as an administrator in a small Christian school in Greenville, NC. My husband, John, is retired. We have two children; one has just entered the working world and is a young adult and the other is in college. We love going to the beach and river and love spending time with family and friends. We hope you enjoy our property.

We love the large grassy area on the sound. It is beautiful and peaceful. We love to grill out and play ball or frizbee on the large grassy area out back. The family friendly atmosphere, the proximity to the beach, the large pool and beauty of the sound side! There are always children for our kids to swim and play with when we go to the beach.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The property is located at a very narrow part of the island. As a result, while the property is on the sound side, it is also street side and once you cross the street you are ocean front.We spend most of our time outdoors either at the pool or at the ocean. We love the fact that we can cook all of our meals in to save money for fun things to do out with our kids.
